Transmigrated into the Villain’s Younger Sister

Shen Yu unintentionally transmigrated into a melodramatic romance novel. She is now a miserable cannon fodder who shares the same name as her. Her adopted brother is the main BOSS villain in the novel who became more and more nefarious over time under the influence of the novel’s White Lotus. He fought tooth and nail with the main male lead and in the end, the villain faces utter defeat.

Shen Yu wiped the cold sweat off her forehead before letting out a sigh in relief. She transmigrated just in time!!!

The main villain has yet to entangle himself too deeply with the White Lotus and as such, hasn’t completely blackened. Shen Yu still has an opportunity to rescue him from the clutches of the White Lotus.

Hence, from the shadows, she plotted and conspired to destroy the relationship between the BOSS villain and the White Lotus.

But who could have guessed that this villainous brother is so abnormal? Not only did he force strawberries onto her and pulverized her house, but he even slashed his own arms without blinking an eye!

Wu wu wu, she’s sooo afraid!!

BOSS Villain: “Baby, do you have a crush on me?”

Little White Bunny: “I don’t have, I’ll never have one. I’m your younger sister!”

BOSS Villain: “Stop creating trouble, you’re just a baby who was picked up from the garbage dump.”

Little White Bunny: ……………….

In brief: I treat you as my brother and tried rescuing you. But, you …. you turn around and try to eat me!

From start of story ML does come off an ass**** but try this story, it's so fun. Just read this story..

ML isn't cliche, not scum, not arrogant. He is what a proper villian should be. He is the most liveliest and colorful ML I have seen in cn romance novels. Just his character is enough to give 5 star to this story. If not from prespective of romance, he is a character that is so enjoyable to read.

ML is more of a bully to FL at first but till 50 chapters their relationship is more of siblings. Just like during our young days some siblings bully each other. Even though he bullies MC, he still cares about her in sibling phase. MC fainted due to menses pain, he was like trembling asking housekeeper "is she gonna die". Yes he is a bully with a soft heart. He is black belly, very intelligent. He is one of the realistic character out there.

When it comes to romance, he is like a novice but he still pursues MC despite many rejections. He is patient in love, never forces MC unlike ori ML who kinda forced oriFL (who is transmigrated assistant of mc) .

When he gave MC his feelings, he gave them all without holding back. He is overbearing with yandre tendencies, even act as ill to have MC leave stage play as he hates her seeing going all over for half an year which MC found out leading to some retrospection on MC part on how much she is giving in this relationship. MC later realises to have ML change is hard but they both find a middle ground and work hard for making relationship work. MC does realise ML is proper villian to have his change overnight amd leave his possessiveness is hard which feels real. But ML never used any emotional abuse on MC or forced her for anything apart from acting ill.

Funny thing is ML son later comes out to be bigger Black belly. At age 2 he was acting all cute, innocent baby to have all MC attention and ML didn't even realize. It was ori ML that pointed out.

Yes ML has many imperfections , no one is perfect in this world. But reading all those cold, indifferent type with zero eq that author shows as "cute", I kinda find those guy irritating.

ML of this novel may not be best, but he gives the most purest of his feelings, he pits MC once acting weak but he never forces her rather on his own level he tries to change.

His character is vivid and deserves to be read. Just taking a different type of character into account, he is breath of fresh air in cn novels. He feels more real. He is yandre but still gives MC her private space.

Yes I forgot to mention ML is neuropathy. His thinking is filled with brain holes or how to pit people on many occasions.

Just give a read to read about Ml. He is good. Story is fun. Sibling love till 50 chapters later romance comes. ML always consider MC as a child. Only when he misunderstood MC having crush on him, he starts thinking in that direction which itself took lot of thinking on his part to pursue or not. Even though he is black bellied but in terms of feelings he is the one who cherishes more. <<less

I think I would have liked this novel 10 years ago when I still didn't mind the 'bully lover' theme. Not going to rate the novel since I can't be objective about it.

I just didn't like the bully ML and the doormat MC. Make no mistakes, MC is only a doormat for him. She's actually pretty badass with everyone else, and she can take care of herself. That's why it's so sad seeing her be a doormat for the ML. I saw the yandere tag, and I kinda disagree. While... more>> the ML has the possessiveness and obsessiveness, he's more of a bully and control freak than a yandere (note the 'dere' in this word and how the typical yandere behaves toward their love object). Starting off, he treats his adoptive sister as a possession/toy/pet with no rights of her own. He's not physically abusive, but depending on mentality, he can be verbally abusive. And the original host did grow up timid and depressed in the end. It's just that the MC has a strong enough mentality to withstand him.

The ML is not all bad as he shows his care for her (when she gets injured or when others try to bully her). Maybe as the novel progresses, he'll change to be more caring and doting. For now, his character setting is to be the 'boyfriend who bullies you, but won't let others bully you'. Which is kind of an older concept to me. Anyway, I could feel my blood pressure rising with each scene featuring the ML, so I had to give up. I guess I no longer have the patience for such male leads. Maybe if the MC could dish it back, I'd be intrigued. But even when it seems like she'll finally stand up for herself, she quickly backs out again.

Keep in mind, I've only read up to chapter 30ish, so maybe that dynamic will change later on. I just really don't feel like sticking around for it. If it's any consolation, the ML does have a good reason for his weird character, so he's not just a jerk for the sake of it. <<less

Well, I gave it a 5 although it only deserves a 3. I just want to pull up the star rating because some people might like it better than me.

For a supposedly possessive and domineering ML, he felt bland to me. He only come as someone obnoxious.

As for the MC, she is boring as hell.

I felt that the story of the origFL whom the MC's asssitant transmigrated into and the origML is more compelling and interesting.

I really tried to like this book but I think author went abit too far with the ML. He's just an egotistical cringey psycho!!! His behavior is not of an overbearing CEO nor a yandere. It's just a psychotic person that likes to toy with its prey. I started skipping around after C15 coz his psycho tendencies were just grating on my nerves. I like the MC who was just trying to survive and get out of the spotlight of the psycho initiallybefore falling in love but my overwhelming dislike... more>> of the ML and his changes because of love just seem unbelievable. In real life psychopaths are the way they are not just because of lack of love/attention/childhood trauma but they also have abnormal levels of hormones and neurochemicals and they have to go through long term psychotherapy and medication to improve. <<less

It took me a while to figure out why this story is so frustrating. It's because it's written like a romcom from early 2000s era, back when having an overly pe*verted character constantly harassing a woman was considered funny, all of the usual problematic tropes were considered romantic rather than f*cked up, and braindead MCs lost braincells as the relationship progresses for the sake of plot.

OriML is a pe*vert who sexually harrasses and r*pes oriFL (who is also FL's transmigrated assistant), and the author expects us to laugh, because "haha the oriML is actually not as much of a gentleman as in the original story and whenever he's annoyed oriFL has to obediently let him use her body". I know it's not meant to be r*pe, and it's meant to be taken more like the woman complaining in Baby It's Cold Outside, like she actually does like it and she's just complaining to save face, but it is NOT comfortable to read and just very upsetting, especially since oriML is a side character who rarely shows up so we don't know anything about him beyond "if he's in public he's an annoying two-faced a**hole; if he's in private he's always doing something pe*verted to oriFL".

ML, on the other hand, is a genuine abusive a**hole. No "loveable yandere" here, he will genuinely make you pissed off at his antics. He's at least better than the oriML because he does get some character development as the story goes on, and when he's not being shitty he's actually amusing, but like the FL said, as soon as you start liking him he'll do something that reminds you that he's not a good guy.

Both FLs are the kind where they're generally likeable, but as soon as you start looking at the story critically they become brainless and annoying. OriFL seemingly only exists to support the FL or to be mol*sted by oriML (she literally never does anything else), and FL is an extremely passive person who enables ML's shitty behavior. At the start she seems like a headstrong, independent FL, the kind who doesn't let herself be bullied, but by the halfway point as the relationship develops she seems to lose both braincells and willpower and become just another Stepford girlfriend who has no goals other than to make her boyfriend happy.

Oh, and also, FL straight up says near the end that "I used to have dreams and career goals but I decided to give up on them because I realized it's actually really selfish to want freedom when I've got a hubby who might get antsy if I leave him too often." Are we sure this was posted in 2019, because this reeks of traditionalist "women must be housewives and careerists are selfish" ideals.

When it's not making me furious or upset, it's actually good. The FL and ML have decent chemistry and are entertaining to read, and the story itself is genuinely funny. There's none of the usual big glaring issues like Mary Sues, overly wordy writing, etc. It's just that you have to think carefully about whether or not the cons are worth the pros and you're willing to go through 100+ chapters worth of genuinely problematic behavior which is dealt with in unsatisfying and halfhearted ways. <<less

I wanted to touch base on what many other readers pointed out.

ML is an as*hole. There's no simpler way to say it. He's sadistic, violent, scheming, narcissistic, shameless, and oh, so so amusing. ML is seriously the star of this novel. As long as you accept the fact that he's a psychopath, it's really enjoyable to follow along and see all the ways he thinks of to make FL miserable and annoyed, such as:

Promising FL to buy another puppy so their current puppy will have a friend. He promises to buy a girl and not a dog of a different species... and then comes home with a black cat--who he names "Little White" 😂

Everyone can agree, ML has some serious personality problems. He's extremely controlling, possessive and doesn't care about giving anyone face.

In one scene a business ally/rival schemes to get attention by helping ML cut his birthday cake. ML counters by flamboyantly kicking over the table holding the cake, which smashes all over the floor. Everyone turns to him in shock and he just says, "Oops. I don't think this cake can be eaten anymore. I'm leaving now." 😂 So overbearing!

In particular, his shameless and egotistical behavior is seriously so f*cking funny.

At one point in time, he convinces himself that FL has a crush on him (surprise, surprise, she really doesn't). Anyway, he starts off by thinking, "Oh no! What should I do? I don't like her like that. But, well, she has good taste and it's obviously much better for her to like me then someone else, so I won't crush her little dream." He then proceeds to get pissed off when she isn't showing as much love /affection/attention as he thinks she should be showing to her crush. He secretly questions her in his heart, like "Your beloved crush is sick and you still just leave for school (after making sure he saw a doctor, took medicine and is comfortable) ?! Your dedication is really too pathetic!" Then later comforting himself, "She's worrying about me? Then she really must be in love with me!"

His delusions are seriously hilarious.

The best thing about this ML is that he's not perfect. Many other romance novels have an ML who is so perfect that his character is completely empty and superficial. Or he starts out being flawed, but after hooking up with the FL he loses all personality and becomes a perfect little wife s*ave 🤮 in the end, this kind of ML is just a flat, boring, puppet, a "decoration" to show FL's status and perfect life.

I'll take our ML any day of the week.

At the beginning you'll hate him. He really is a complete psychopath to FL at the beginning. But as their relationship progresses, he really begins to enjoy making her happy. He never becomes perfect. He still continues to be an arrogant, shameless as*hole, but you can tell that his feelings for FL are genuine and he's trying to express them in the best way he can (while always continuing to be true to himself).

I am a huge fan of yanderes, and if you are too you will definitely enjoy this novel. My rating is a 10/10. <<less

Story itself is not too bad though it's a bit early to say. Translation is frustrating and awkward. Crazy/insane is translated as neuropathy and gender pronouns are frequently confused. Phrasing is also very stiff. It's not quite MTL bad but it's close. This series desperately needs an editor. Until the translation is fixed I can't give it more than a passing 3 stars.

Hi everyone,

I'm the new translator of this novel so my review may be biased. I'll translate the novel from scratch in view that the previous translator's links are dead.

I fell in love with the novel and decided to translate it because I really love Shen Xiao. He is such an interesting villain and is totally a little black sesame ball! He is cold and cruel. He doesn't apologise for his actions nor does he try to lessen his guilt by offering an explanation. But lo and behold, he falls... more>> for our little bunny, hard. Fufufu~~~

As for Shen Yu, she may be a little bunny to our yandare ML but she is no doormat to others. Her interactions with the White Lotus is epic. And more importantly, there's character development throughout the novel.

Well, I hope you enjoy the novel as much as I did. <<less

I read this in raw thus I would not comment on the translation. This novel is unique in my opinion. And as stated in the author's note in the last extra chapter: Because love would never be from a state of imperfection to perfection. No matter how old one becomes, love will always remain at its original state.

At first, I was rather uncomfortable with how possessive the male lead was and how he treated the female lead was as if it was to entertain him. However, as explained from the... more>> start of the novel, the male lead is 'insane/crazy'. Thus, it somewhat explained why he was acting in this way.

But as the story progresses, same goes with the build up and such. It was a great build up in my opinion. Both leads' learn to give in, accept, and the novel showed how a couple with totally different personality would struggle.

One example would be:

Even the 'control freak' male lead knows that if he does what he really wanted, their relationship will deteriorate for sure and, well, he uses underhanded measures. On the other hand, the female lead had wanted him to act in a certain way but the male lead doesn't and she got upset. But after she did some self-reflection, she realised that she was wrong as well since she can't expect him to change when the male lead had always been like this. For this respect, I truly think it is quite unique and very unlike other novels.

This novel's romance isn't merely based on the male lead pampering and such. It focuses that both male and female leads dote on one another and I felt that the emphasis was that: Love should not force someone to change into someone they aren't and that both sides should learn to find the comfortable level that both of them can give in to.

Rather interesting in my opinion. Like what other had said in the reviews, it may be for some and some may not like it. I would suggest reading this by bearing with the first few chapters. In my opinion, it gets better as the novel progresses. <<less

I usually like cold and indifferent ML, but I swear! This ML is soooooooo cute and likeable ❤️? Maybe some people will find the ML in the beginning is a bit creepy and hateful. But really!!! Because he was the VILLAIN! ? Finally a proper villain! A villain who didn't have any story behind the scene! He was a villain from the start ? He was hateful. I was at chapter 70+ when ML finally realized his feelings towards MC. He's so cute!!! ??? There's something I hate at the beginning... more>> tho! The white lotus!!! (┛ಠДಠ) ┛彡┻━┻ I just want to get rid of her so badly!!! Fortunately the ML is not interested with her, even though they actually 'date' a couple of times!!!!!! ? In addition, the ori!ML is r*pey!!! Ori!FL keep refusing him but he will always have his way towards the ori!fl! I really hate this side couple actually. It's very irritating to read, especially when he keep touching the ori!fl. <<less

It’s an adorable and funny short read. The ML may not be for everybody’s taste. He’s super possessive and controlling at the start - to the point where its hard to like him. But after a few more chapters, he warms up. He’s still possessive and controlling but he works hard to change. His bluntness is really funny though and his interactions with the FL has made me crack up so many times.

All in all, a nice and funny read. Just need a bit of willpower to push through the... more>> first few annoying chapters.

Like the others I'm giving this a 5 to boost its ratings up.

Honestly it's not a bad read and actually it's pretty funny because the ML is such a "sand sculpture" and by that I mean a total weirdo. He's definitely an overbearing president but he's also super funny and strange too. The way that he thinks and acts is so unpredictable and initially this isn't good for the FL because he's a bully. However, to his credit he goes through tremendously growth. I like that his change towards the... more>> FL isn't instant. Sometimes in these novels the FLs do two nice things for the MLs and they're head over heels for them but no in this novel his feelings change gradually. He goes from treating her like a toy/pet to a younger sister that he has to dote on and take care of to a potential lover to finally someone he wants to spend the rest of his life with. Watching him deal with the antagonists though is hilarious because he's so crazy. They can never get a fast one on him lol.

The FL feels like a realistic girl. She isn't a total doormat. She'll rebel against the ML when he goes too far but she isn't unreasonable because she knows her limits. I like that she doesn't automatically fall for him either because with the way he was treating her initially it would seem so bizarre.

There weren't too many complications in the story and I liked that the original FL and ML of the book were both decent humans.

Uncle Li, the steward is my favourite character by far though. Best pseudo-grandpa ever! <<less

Obviously not enough to make a judgement call on the plot yet, but ML seems like your standard arrogant a**hole ML. Have yet to see whether MC is going to be of the doormat variety or not though.

Translation is a bit iffy at times and it seems to change perspective between first and third person?

This made me laugh though I realise it's probably just a typo: "A middle-aged Toyota is standing next to the car. He has a bald, oily face, and his belly is bigger than others' pregnancy."

With the ML personality, It’s really unbelievable that he’s a successful businessman. I didn’t like the relationship between the ML and Fl. I really can’t stand the Ml.

As for the FL friend I didn’t like her at all. She clearly didn’t like the original Ml. She transmigration in the novel when the original FL lead and the original ML already together. The weirdest thing is the original ML didn’t even realize his beloved changed!!!

this novel really annoying.

It's an ok read. I eventually got bored so I dropped the novel. I might read it again in the future though. ML reminds me of the ML in I Just Want to Freeload on Your Luck, they are both s*upidly cute and both assumed that MC likes him when MC does not. However, the ML in here is more extreme and less cute than the one there. I especially like how there's another transmigrated character, her assistant, but the assistant is pitiful as she got a character with a... more>> perverse guy as a boyfriend. <<less

After an accidental death, MC gets transported to a book she read/acted before. But she is now a different character, not the protagonist... So, her villain brother treats her as a pet, and later the relationship is obviously romantic. Her assistant also transmigrate, so its good that she's not alone in a different world. Villain bro is actually not that bad, just overly clingy and possessive, the bully type :v. Extra chapters are ok, I really thought they would have a daughter \/-_-\/

This was a good novel. I really like the relationship between MC and ML, both understand one another and knows the limit of pushing one.

Love that the MC isn't weak and let the ML bully her all the time, she speaks out when she don't like something and isn't scared to do it even if she knows that the ML will hate it.

I also love the the ML knows what the MC wants and tries to respect her choices as much as he can. Even tho he is controlling and... more>> a bit crazy he loves the MC a lot.

ML's relationship with the Original ML is great, I like that they some what became friends in the end rather then enemies like most novels.

*** One thing that I would like to point out is that in one of the review it says that the "OriMC" is a good person and later becomes friend with MC, this is fake. The "OriMC" that "becomes" MC's friend isn't even the OriMC, she is MC's manager who also transmigrated with the MC into the novel. The manager is inside the "OriMC's" body and later finds out that the MC also tran. Into the novel.

Meaning that "OriMC" didn't becomes friends with MC cause she's nice as she can't anyways cause that's not the real OriMC but someone who is already friends with MC from the past life.

Only thing that I don't like was the rushed ending. <<less

This novel was a really good fluffy read particularly because of the ML. He really was a crazy bastard, unpredictable, cunning, eccentric and doesn't give a f*ck about anything lol. It was refreshing to see an ML that deviates from usual ML qualities. Although he is indeed annoying and infuriating at first, you would slowly find his actions funny and cute but weird at the same time. The FL really was such a patient person to be able to handle the ML and I actually understand why she had to... more>> act like a 'doormat' since the ML really was an enigma.

I found their relationship progress to be very smooth. I also liked how the novelML and ML/novelVillain became friends in the end. TBH ML/novelVillain is a looooot better than novelML since he never forced MC to do nightly exercises. NovelML was literally a beast in a man's clothing lol poor MC's friend/novelFL.

This novel has pleasantly exceeded my expectations, 4.2⭐. I haven't read other reviewers' opinions, but I have a hunch that the lower ratings might be attributed to the ML's personality, and I must admit, he can be rather difficult to warm up to.

In fact, to be blunt, he's something of a bastard - petty, possessive, controlling, and often unreasonable. These are traits I typically avoid in MLs, but the author's way of telling the story somehow managed to make me like him enough to continue reading.

The ML is an interesting... more>> character. I think he's the star of this novel. He's a riot with a thought process that veers away from normal person. I also like how the author addresses his controlling behavior, even if ultimately, he struggles to change his ways.

In the end, both the MC and ML find themselves in a position where compromise is essential for their relationship to continue smoothly. Anyway! This is a sweet story where the antagonists are not very threatening. <<less
