ML:

At first, I really hate how arrogant and overbearing he was, but he slowly changed and started to pay attention to FL. It might be because he was puzzled at FL's sudden change, but at least that happened. When A Wu, Chuyi's second personality was known to the family, he reflected at his mistakes, he admitted them, and he accepted them. He finally tried to be a better father. I felt funny because he thought FL would try to get back at him after their divorce and he would calmly accepted her (no joke, there is a line said, 'She would call him asking to go back, and he would then calmly accepted her, ')

Well, be careful there, some of you might get pissed because of his thoughts at several chapters, but I would recommend you to keep reading. Fortunately, we have Xia Huairun who advised to stop being so overbearing and start acting cute to her -at least, that's what I caught from the MTL-. He finally changed his tactic and became a silly, cute man. That's where you will realize where Liang Sheng's silliness come from. It was definitely inherited! Dare I say, that he is one of the most decent ML at least he's better than all of those overbearing, rude, unsymphatetic, and unnecessarily cruel MLs.

Also, his character doesn't feel unrealistic or too forced. Surprisingly, his character feels like human, he had flaws and shortcomings, but that doesn't mean he's heartless. He's actually adopted by his mother because his original parents were soldiers and they were killed infront of him when he was five (if I'm not wrong) by a gang that they once destroyed. He was rescued by his current mother, Lin Aiguo, a friend of his parents, and then she adopted him. Lin Aiguo was so strict towards him, and as we know, some--even most-- parents will try their best to give their children the things they couldn't have so their children won't experience the same things like they did, and in this case, ML spoilt his children without a bottom line.

FL:

I think she was a movie queen in her past life? Hmm, I don't know, MTL isn't always clear, but I'm sure that she was an actress. She was an orphan in the past life and she felt lonely. I could feel her nostalgic feelings when she remembered how she used to climb trees and ate the fruits because her orphanage's dean wouldn't allow anyone to eat them. Honestly, I'm impressed at how she changed her kids and made them better people. It wasn't an easy job.

If she really was real, I would surely become her fan too. She's intellegent, capable, and strong. She's not your usual protagonist, instead of being a white little rabbit, she became the big bad wolf. There was a scene where she smoked after they'd done that and it was sooo chic! There was also a scene where the ML 'seduced' her and instead of being shy, she told him to take her little toys. Gosh, the ML was speechless af. I also love how she loved and embraced Chuyi's second personality, A Wu. Her strictness was the one that straighten her kids's spoilt behaviours. Anyway, she's chick af.

Lin Chuyi and A Wu:

He was also one of the most complex characters ever. Chuyi was a very responsible boy, A Wu existed because the pains he experienced when he was young. The O!Mother had post partum depression and she vented her anger towards him, ie; locking him the closet. After his brother born, O!Mother only held his brother. Fortunately, FL embraced Chuyi and his second personality as her child, and the whole family started to 'accept' A Wu. Yes, A Wu was cruel at first, he hated the family deep to his bones, but he finally turned better because of FL. A Wu finally forgave his 'mother' and disappeared.

ML also realized that he didn't give his wife and eldest child enough attention which eventually created this situation.

Liang Sheng and Lin Qian/ Lin Qin:

Liang Sheng and Lin Qian were horrible at first, but FL's iron fist finallly made them return to the right path. Liang Sheng was not smart and silly, but well, he was funny and adds dynamics in the family. Also, Lin Qian wass so damn cute!! This girl made her father and second eldest bro worried that she would be robbed by the weasel---Ouyang boy.

Last, but not least, I want to talk abouot the original owner, or O!Mother:

I can actually understand her actions, if you guys can't forgive her, at least this would make you understand her. O!Mother was very miserable, her parents wanted a boy and her mother finally resigned from her job, thinking that her baby would be a boy. She was very disappointed when she got O!Mother and mistreated her daughter. The O!Mother was beaten since her childhood, I'm sure you must be aware that violence towards children could make them cowardice, insecure, and felt inferior. But her mother's cruelty didn't stop there. When the O!Mother finally bloomed, she fcking tried to make her daughter a prostitute! She brought O!Mother to clubs and parties to throw O!Mother on people's beds, hoping that she would get a rich client. She just stopped after someone told her to stop, saying it's better to serve one man than countless man. The mother finally tricked her to spent a night with ML.

Okay, now let's get to the point where she finally gave birth to Chuyi and had post partum depression. She had a bleeding and almost died there. She gave birth to a child when she was supposed to be at college or uni, living her youth, her husband didn't love her and barely cared about her, and her mother constantly harassed her for money.

I can't say that I forgive her, but I do feel symphaty for her.

Like the saying goes, the children didnt know any better. They may be naughty, loud or silly, this novel goes to show that without proper guidance and treatment they can be easily lead astray.

It is a lot annoying at start, with the kids being spoiled and all. But you'll grew to like them. They will show you the innocence and naivety of a child. From the simple trust, from the simple stickiness to their lovable reactions and pure dependence on people who cared and love them.

You might hate ML at the start but you'll know that he was never just bossy, arrogant, cold and domineering. You will see why he came to be that way and how he will slowly show his poaitive traits.

You might hate Or!Host for the things she did to the children and how she treats them. But you will see that she was also an ab*sed child herself. She never knew how to be cherished and loved. As they said, how can you give something you've never had. She was a pitiful child who was ab*sed by her mother by the time she was 19 she was (I hate to say it, but) r*pe and gotten pregnant. She suffered while pregnant alone. She suffered giving birth. And again (i hate to say it, but) r*ped and gotten pregnant with the 2nd child. Its a very difficult and terrible cycle of life.

Its a good thing that when ML found out the ab*se that cause the split personality of their eldest, he was able to make a very clear judgement that this was not only caused by the ab*se of the wife, but also because he was the cause of the depression of his wife.

You might hate the children for being annoying, spoiled and bratty but you will see that they each have a reason why they were what they are. How they act, how they view others, how they treat others.

Its pitiful to think that if each character was viewed alone, its a very very sad life. Put together the dynamics and possibilities were endless. They help each other and they grow together.

Its a very well thought out novel and the characters are very fleshy that it was so amazing.

Wow dude, if your wife avoids you and "acts like she's being r*ped" in bed... you're probably raping her.

Chu Yi has split personality and Ah Wu is his dark side while Chu Yi is the gentle one. He is the real reason why his 2 siblings bully the mom. He manipulates them to hate the mom and do bad things. But he is also very protective of Chu Yi (the original son) and also protects his younger siblings later on. Instead of removing the Ah Wu persona, the family, with mom as the head decided to accept him as a part of Chu Yi and becomes the fourth son. I think it's a very good decision and adds a lot of flavor to the story.

At first she only took Chu Yi to stop him from corrupting the other 2 children but later on, took all the kids and left the husband alone.

She'll come back when she's seen how the world works, and I'll accept her. He told her, I used to take care of a bird and freed it, but it flew back. He thinks materialistically, that he can provide a good life for the MC and they have been married for long, she didn't have to work or experience hardships, that she'll certainly miss those things once she's seen how cruel the world is. But he regrets his thoughts later when he saw how the MC thrives and is happy after the divorce. He is confident they will remarry, but eventhough they are still doing it after divorce, she still wouldn't marry him again. (I worked hard to divorce, why will I remarry). It's a happy ending. They did remarry but it's because the feelings are deeper and they fell in love.

1. He is loyal. Eventhough the original and him were not inlove and he works at the top of the entertainment scene, he doesn't have any other women. His first time was given to the original and he never thought of touching anyone else.
2. He's a good father. Although he spoiled the children too much, aside from working, he only has his family.
3. He may look like the cold CEO, but he can actually be very silly and is his wife and children's s*ave after the MC. His children sometimes regarded him as the villain for taking their mom's attention.
4. He is also a complex character. Eventhough he was cold, he loves his family so much especially his adopted mother.

After JT and LS get married, they decide to visit Ouyang in the USA. Turns out, Ouyang is being physically and mentally ab*sed, repeatedly and consistently, due to the instigation of the woman who mu*dered his biological mother. JT and LS gets wind of it the first night they try to visit him, but despite knowing and understanding how dangerous the situation is for Ouyang, they walk away. LS makes some s*upid reasoning about Ouyang doesn't want to be taken away and that his mental health will suffer if they forcefully remove him from that abusive situation. (I'm like, WTF?!) Ouyang could die anytime as a result of the persistent ab*se, even if the evil woman who instigates the ab*se doesn't want him dead just yet. LS and JT could at least call 911 to do a wellness check, but they don't, justifying it that unless Ouyang contacts them first, they can't really do anything. (The hell! He is a child, although capable of complex thinking, he doesn't really know how to save himself. Moreover, ab*se victims already suffer from a lot of psychological issues and mental traumas that would probably skew their mindset. They can think that they don't deserve to be saved, that this is their own problem and they should solve it themselves. How can you realistically expect him to make the rational decision to ask for help given his background and situation? Like, author, why????)

so basically long time ago I read this novel and I went to this author's jjwxc page to see what other novels I can read so I read the other popular ones like 'aunt your wig has fallen off', 'four leaf clover', 'I am a prodigy' etc. all of these I found so cute and had nice storyline... so what do I do... I want to find some more and read them so I go to other sites to read some of the older and lesser known works of this author... and OH LORD I am horrified. I found a novel in which author sexualizes a MINOR. and she is sexualized by who u ask..... her adoptive father..... I am just speechless... I thought this story will be how she will fight her father and get him into jail... but no... this was a supposed to be a ROMANTIC story. Her father is sexualizing her young 14 yr old body literally so disgusting I felt sick while reading it like how author describes him touching her as that is supposed to be seem romantic. also her father wasnt enough.... her uncle that is her adoptive father's brother is also lusting after her..... like what do I say at this point all the men are just pe*o here.

So her father always touches her inappropriately so does her uncle... and the poor girl is so uncomfortable that she just wants to leave ya'll. also she cannot report him to police cuz her father is a policeman.... SUCH A SURPRISE amiright. So he wants to go to 3rd base with her and is trying to make her fall in love with him anfd u know what the author portrays.... THAT SHE STARTING TO LIKE HIM TOO. A 14 yr old girl with a 30 yr old man. He does succeed in coercing her to have s3x with him, but she runs away for good..... we thought this was over no honey... she is pregnant now at 15 and has to deal with this sh*t after she finally ran away from this pe*o. and ofcourse.. not one chinese novel can portray abortion without it being the greatest evil act that exists on this planet... so she keeps them babies... she has twins... son and daughter. so long story short her father finds her after 6 yrs and sees the babies and understands that she gave birth to his babies and is trying to get her back. SIR U DID NOT JUST FORGET THAT U DID THAT TO A MINOR GIRL. and she at 1st is dismissive of him but she cant push him away eventually that get married happy ending.

What the f*ck is this story... the author just wrote something illegal and if this was a story abt how the girl defeated her ab*ser and put him to jail or took revenge on him by killing him or something along those lines... ppl would have appreciated that.... but I really cant understand who is this story made for?
