Yu Bai Zhou transmigrated into a book.

The talented protagonist was the top student in school. Due to his excellence in every subject, many people were dissatisfied with him, so they devised various schemes to mess with him, to the extent that they left a dark shadow on his high school years.

However, the villains did not know that the seemingly poor protagonist was actually the eldest son of the richest man in City A.

And in six years, the protagonist would replace his father’s position as the new richest man in City A with his own capabilities. Ten years later, he would become the youngest and richest man in the country! When that happens, the villains would be tortured to death by the protagonist!

… As bad luck would have it, Yu Bai Zhou transmigrated into the villain that bullied the protagonist the most.

In order to live for a few more years, Yu Bai Zhou, the villain, begins to formulate a character correction plan.

However, just as he is struggling to save his image in the eyes of the protagonist, out of the blue, the protagonist anxiously pushes him against the wall, and traps him within the circle of his arms. Those refined brown eyes watch him attentively. “Yu Bai Zhou, if you make trouble again, I will kiss you.”

Yu Bai Zhou, who was just kabedon’ed, panics. “Can someone tell me, exactly where did I go wrong?!”

Just done reading this novel. ? Each chapter has its own spice and there are no boring moments. I love it and I will read it again. ?
Spoiler

The misunderstanding between the MC and ML is so cute. The ML thought that MC was pursuing him. ❤️

[collapse]

Spoiler

I love how the MC treated his parents (who are both men) and MC also accepted them. I also love the supported given by his parents to MC. I wish there is a side story on how his parents met though. ?

Dropped.

Didn't like it. I don't recommend it either.

Also,

Spoiler

Weird how this dude that is mentally 30, or something like that, is getting a crush on a highschooler and deciding to be with him. I get they are the same age physically, but it's still creepy to me, especially when considering how ML seems to treat MC, which is a bit like a kid. AND the main character is indeed quite childish. Wasn't a fan of either, the way ML saw MC and neither how MC generally behaved.

Spoiler

I don't get what ML liked about the MC. What did MC do that was so different from the dozen of people that have chased after ML before? There was no evolution of feelings on his side, in my humble opinion.

[collapse]

A lacking novel, underbaked. And an author that thinks repeating the same things a few dozen times is what they need to do to get their point across (eg. Ml's looks). <<less

It started off interesting but after a while the chapter numbers started to represent how fast the MC's IQ was dropping. I swear, every chapter he seemed dumber and more childish. The ML is not much better!

Spoiler

For an adult, he sure flipped back to be a teenager real fast...

[collapse]

Overall, I thought the plot was cute but it was too boring to finish.

I will definitely not recommend it but that doesn't mean I'll stop any1 as well. Just because it didn't worth my time. On the other hand, let me be as illogical as this novel, because I encourage others to read it as it doesn't have a creepy manipulative and r*pey ML (with whatever trends going on with other danmei/bl writers using such themes).

From the beginning to end nothing makes sense let alone loop holes, MC's "forced" interaction and general thinking has me baffled/zoned out half of the time especially for... more>> a person self-claimed as an introverted and learning tyrant.

And why the hell ML decided to fell after MC, since he was already pursed by so many ppl in his past even more relentlessly than what MC did.

And what happened to some characters that were supposed to be there but were absent without any explanation most of the time???

I'm still trying to recover myself after finishing this so called "fluffy and sweet novel". <<less

I've read up to this point but there's no progress in the author's writing. They focus more on how attractive, superior, talented and cool the ML was supposed to be in every scene instead of providing a solid plot. As for the MC, nothing worth reading. He kept on acting like a teenager who know nothing. What's with the forgetting the ML's confession after drinking a few sips of alcohol. Dumb, clueless, worthless and irritating.

A cute and fluffy story.

If you enjoy high school enemies to lovers where the MC transmigrates into the villain, this worth a read. It isn't the best and did make me roll my eyes at times, but I made it to the end without getting bored.

There are a few points where I was disappointed.

For example, the MCs original identity is never really discussed.

Spoiler

The identity reveal of both ML and MC is in the extra, and feels kind of glossed over. The extra focuses on fluff so I won't complain too much

[collapse]

I also felt there were a couple of contradictions/the author didn't take advantage of a character setting when they could have. The MCs parents are a gay couple, which is refreshing and I really like them, but there is a plot point around h*mophobia and I feel like the parents could have been used more here as (I think) it is common knowledge in the school that the MCs parents are a gay couple.

I had an issue with how the ML and mls friend dealt with this situation too.

Spoiler

The ML is supposedly in his 30s but has rebirthed, along with his friend, something that the story often references as it tries to make them seem mature and that they won't waste time on these teenage children. But when you look as an outsider to the situation with that knowledge, then it's basically two thirty year old men ganging up on a couple of teenage girls. There are plenty more mature ways they could have dealt with the bullying.

[collapse]

It would have been nice if the mls family situation had also been fleshed out with its conclusion. In the end it was only summed up in a few sentences.

Spoiler

There was also potential for the best friend to become part of a love triangle with the MC and ml, but it got nipped in the bud fairly early on.

[collapse]

But there are plenty of good points!

This story doesn't stray too far from many other high-school rom com danmei, so it's a safe read. It has typical dog blood drama at times and the MCs gay parents are two of my favourite characters.

Please give this a read I you enjoy fluffy high-school romance centric stories! <<less

It's cute. But you do need to turn your brain off for it. It's a bit like watching a CW tv show, you know nothing makes sense and the parents should really notice sh*t, but at the end of the days it's indulgent. Shallow candy that's forgettable but nevertheless leaves a sweet aftertaste. 4/5.

Dropped. It was quite promising at first, the misunderstandings were cute and fun to read then just went downhill.

MC is cute but naive and indecisive. I thought ML was mature at first since u know he's mentally an adult but when it came to clearing up the misunderstanding (of dating) he went and guilt tripped MC or gaslight?? Idk but he blamed MC for making him misunderstand that MC likes him. Which is ridiculous.

And when MC wanted to clear up and still be friends w him, ML avoided him (not... more>> very adult of him :/) . Only when MC was together with Li Bei (2nd ML probably) and looked happy did ML wanted to start noticing MC again.

ML is black-bellied (in the form of gaslight and guilt trippijg hahahah) and plays MC on his palm while MC is just 🥺🥺 about it.

I dont know what will happen later but it was quite hard to read. I absolutely hate MLs who play MC on their palm.

AAAHHH FINALLY FINISHED IT!

It is a short but good story and full of fluff fluff fluff!

I really really liked it but the ending seems a bit rushed to me.

I kinda wanted the system to make more trouble. I think it still has more potential.

Nevertheless, it was a good read.

This is my second time reading this novel, so I might as well leave a review. I really enjoyed this novel; it’s cute, fluffy, comedic, and just a really nice school-life romance. Unfortunately, I’ll have to agree with most of the previous reviewers- it only goes downhill as the story progresses.

I loved the silly romance and misunderstandings. The development of the MC and ML’s romance was done nicely, albeit the ML was a bit quick to fall in love. Just... the novel when nearing the ending was not to my... more>> taste. First of all- spoiler alert- the random and nonsensically introduced kidnapping plot. I have no idea why this was included at all. I think the author had an extremely hard time building the backstory for the original owner of MC’s body. It seemed like the whole kidnapping fiasco was created spontaneously, only needed as a fill-in to explain the authors previous plot additions. There were absolutely no hints, only badly written foreshadowing that probably can’t even be called foreshadowing. Honestly, it all seemed extremely rushed, so the substance was lacking.

Despite the negatives, I really enjoyed this novel and would reread it again if I had the desire to. The pacing was nice, and the characters were sweet to follow. <<less

One of the best and the most fluffy novel I have ever come across.

The MC is absolutely adorable but smart too. He just starts with the whole 'Not get skinned alive' thing, where he basically tries to prevent his death as per the original novel. He's absolutely hilarious too. And his thoughts and what he says out louds gets him in trouble but makes it so so much better. That's also one of the reasons why ML adores him. Heck, I'd adore him too.

Similarly, even the ML isn't the overbearing,... more>> tyrant CEO type. He respects the MC and absolutely adores him. He was naturally a little untrusting when MC treated him well, but I guess that was expected. Then he fell in love with our adorable MC and then there was no looking back. He did chase the MC to pursue him, but the end results were definitely worth it.

I have to say this. MC's parents are absolutely AWESOME. They're so lovable and so understanding. I love their role in the whole novel.

Spoiler
[collapse]
MC's parents are gay. One of them is a whole wife and son s*ave although he tries to come off as a strict dad but hehe. His other dad is the gentle one who basically calms down the anger bursts.

Adding on, the side characters, are just constantly stuffed with dog food after the ML and the MC get together.

There were 2 love rivals for the ML. Both were MC's kinda childhood friends. One was really really caring and kinda sweet. Of course, he fell short compared to the ML. The other one... Well he was crazy and kidnapped the MC, all because he found him 'interesting'. Yep crazy. But I can't really blame him. The kidnapper kiddo's elder brother was sick in the head too ya know.

Hmm. Oh yes! ML's only friend. I forgot his name but he was a huge lightbulb throughout the novel. Love him tho.

The story of the Little fish and his hubby as I like to call it, is absolutely amazing and I came back for a second read. One of the most underrated novels ever. <<less

You know, this book was a full on 4 star for the first 2/3 of the story. I was literally dying of second hand embarrassment for 40 chapters. The MC was the villain, but once he got there he just instantly swapped and started chasing after the ML and doing a bunch of easily misunderstood actions. Plus he kept digging himself deeper into the hole. However, once they got together the sweetness of their relationship made up for everything I had suffered earlier. There's some drama, but the main couple... more>> is just so cute and so sweet. I love them. Now, if they could have cut down on all that pain in the beginning, I would have loved this story even more. <<less

I see many complaints regarding the ML he yan, but I liked him. I know that he transmigrated when he was already in his late twenties, but MC yu baizhou was also a young adult around early to mid twenties when he transmigrated, so even if they took over 18 yo bodies they still had the mental age of adults, so for me, that was not a big of a problem.

I liked about this novel that yu baizhou's parents were gay, I had not seen this before and it surprised... more>> me, also they seem very in love and although are strict as every other parent would, they are very supportive and protective of yu baizhou.

The group of friends, tu gaoming, che cong and li bei, in the beginning I thought they would be very problematic and already rotten apples, but they were influenced by the og ybz and were able to change their ways to become better.

Yu baizhou and he yan, I liked their chemistry and how they had those little misunderstandings in the early stages of the novel. Even when it was a slow-burn, I enjoyed their "becoming friends" stage. And what I liked even more is how he yan truly respected ybz, he knew his boundaries and was always making sure he was not scaring the other, I think he also felt that the maturity gap would make him look predatory, but for real, he fell in love but never took advantage of ybz so don't demonize him for having feelings for the other.

I am very happy that yu baizhou had finally a family, friends and a lover, since it's mentioned that in his previous life he had neither of that and was outcast most of the times. He was truly a very adorable boy, worried for the safety of his dads. So in the end he was able to find happiness and all the good things he deserved.

The novel is very light if you're searching for something to give you lots of fluff and cute moments without having to face complicated and mentally exhausting plots, then this is perfect. And that is exactly what I was looking for since reading ancient danmei for long periods of time leave me completely drained, and these kind of novels help me to get back on track. <<less

Don't get me wrong, I really like this story. It's cute, it's sweet, it's fluffy.

However, it does feel very average.

It's not a terrible story by any means- actually, I had a good time reading this all the way to the end. However, something about it just makes me feel that it's just- average. It's a decent story to read if you're just looking to pass the time though, for sure.

I suppose that, compared to other novels I've read in the past, this one simply doesn't stand out at all.

oh boy, this had a lot of potential and a lot of room for plot but at the end it was all rushed.

BUT THANK YOU TRANSLATOR FOR THE EFFORT I TRULY APPRECIATE IT

So back to the novel, the title had nothing to do with the plot, the business part came only at the last chapters, a lot of time skips and not a lot of satisfying face slaps.

... more>> The romance is sweet and cute, very much school life so if you want that then good for you.

The MC is a baby, who they said was smart and had a rough original life so I was expecting a little higher EQ, the system barely had a presence and the protagonist didnt got a chance to show his revenge though. <<less

The system just disappeared (but I like to think that it disappeared because the MC found his happiness) and the ML intelligence for a bit questionable toward the end

but overall a nice light read that y'all would very much like if you don't want to think.

Ps. The MC (a bit tentative to call this man this but...) and ML are sensible and really avoid the most basic and s*upid troupes/archetypes so no worries there.

Pss. Don't expect face slapping, action, schemes—any thing that requires thinking basically. <<less

Reading this was like eating cotton candy, very sweet. But you don't get tired of it. Very easy to mtl, but I am looking forward to the continued translation so I may read it again. There are no terribly heart breaking scenes, and it is very slice of life, and if you are just looking for something that won't cause stress and improve your over all mood, I highly recommend. Really very sweet.

Good, funny and light-hearted novel which suits my taste but my original reason for reading this is due to title. I thought that I would see a hard working MC that would do several business development but it failed my expectation. Honestly, a little disappointed. But this one is still cute and good!! ? I just wished the author renamed the title so it is in line with the story ?

Will probably drop since I get bored

When I started this there was only 15 chapters translated so I MTL the rest. And while it was very easy, I sincerely hope I made a mistake somewhere. Thr part I was looking forward to the most didn't happen! The MC never told the ML who he was before transmigrating! There was so many hints that he would, and I couldn't wait, but it never happened. If it had this novel would definitely be 5/5 stars for me.
