• • Even the ML and his close colleagues were baffled when the Ori. ML suddenly acted friends with ML.

• • The Ori. ML only confided in the ML when his life was really bad, when he was okay, Ori. ML looked down on the ML, like what made him think that he was better than the ML is still a mystery.

• • The ML's body was raised in the city, although not that studious, he had completed his high school diploma, also privately trained under an old retired technician, as the ML had talents in anything technical. So, the ML's dad made him progress in the path he was good at. The family was peaceful, with very forward thinking parents and loving siblings. Only problem was the ML's vody's obsession with the Ori. FL, which was solved after our ML arrived.

• • The Ori. ML on the other had was impressive as he was raised in a village household but had graduated from high school with high grades *typical book's ML hardships and brain*, but he got his 1st job through his uncle's connections. When his influential uncle went down because of bribery, he was also fired off the job, and used the Ori. FL to cutoff ties with the uncle, so as to not get impacted. He was the eldest of his family so he had many responsibilities, that mostly were solvable but he took wierd methods to temporarily deal with them. And later bothered our ML with his problems. The Ori. ML is shown to be very indecisive when it comes to family.

• • Truthfully ML although hated Ori. ML's deep scheming behaviour, actually always answered Ori. ML's questions with an example of his own situation, very diplomatically. And most of these questions were about the Ori. ML's private relationship with his wife, wife's natal family, mother and his own large family.

• • The Ori. ML on one hand admits that he doesn't have same technical qualities as ML and the next he wonder's why the ML's mentor Rong likes ML better than Ori. ML as he was smarter than ML. I mean what made him think so?!?! The Ori. ML even wondered if ML knew about Rong mentor's background, so he was good to Rong mentor. I mean the Ori. ML himself was good to his mentor (who is not Rong mentor) but even specially good to ML's mentor, so it was seen through.

• • ML never stepped on the Ori. ML to rise up but used his own capabilities.

• • Instead in one of the instances, Ori. ML wanted private information about their factory leader from his driver, but the driver refused and Ori. ML was held opinion (grudge) about the driver. He never even thought how this would implicate the driver.

• • Ori. ML in the original story recollected by our ML had used such underhanded methods many times, one of them was when he read an article on the newspaper about a disabled boiler worker saving his factory. Later when the said factory was going through lay-offs he anonymously wrote a letter persuading the factory director to lay-off that disabled person as he will be a liability in the long run. Quite smooth talker he is. He wanted to use this chance to put in his younger brother into the factory, in which he succeeded. Ori. ML didn't even think about how that disabled person won't ever find another job and maybe even push him and his family to death. So, later when that disabled person died and his wife also joined him in death by committing su*cide, the newspaper published an article about it. Ori. ML read that article, felt a bit of guilt and then forgot about it. As if those people's lives were just stepping stones of his life.

• • Another fact was that, that very disabled person mentioned in the original story was our ML'S brother-in-law. And disabled was a very heavy word, instead he just had a limp from when got injured
    as a soldier. In this life, ML managed to save his brother-in-law. So, yes unknowningly the Ori. ML had tried to harm the ML'S family. I think he wrote the suggestive letter and sent it but never got any response. So, he had to give his wife's job to his brother temporarily as she was pregnant, so instead of 2 and half incomes, they had 1 and half income.

(Apparently by taking someone else's job temporarily, the temporary worker has to pay the original worker an agreed upon payment from the paycheck every month. Usually if a family member took the temporary job, they don't need to keep that money at all, but the Ori. ML's family wasn't exactly fuel efficient, so they weren't going to give up money they get it in their hands. Specially if it belongs to the daughter-in-law.)

• • Ori. ML had already done this "accidentally saving" the deputy leader and ML's Rong mentor. The "saved" deputy leader gave him a job in the technical department for free. The ML had gone through 3 rounds of tests: written, practical and interview for the position.

• • The ML's mentor Rong had an influential background, that's why Ori. ML wanted to suck upto him, but this accident only backfired. Even though it was the ML who reminded his mentor of this accident potentially being a scam, as by then everyone in the factory knew how the Ori. ML was trying to get into Rong mentor's good books.

• • A life saving act once is fate but twice is not a coincidence, specially if it's towards the very two people Ori. ML was trying to be chummy with.

• • The Ori. ML later in life after he became successful in business even came back to show off his money to the ML. Only to see that ML has a happy, peaceful and generous life. ML made enough money to spend his and his family's life peacefully without any problems.

• • This made the Ori. ML very uncomfortable, that the ML wasn't envious of him.

• • As by then, the Ori. ML was very successful in business but had bad family relations, his wife and mother caused trouble everyday, his several children that he had popped off with any precautions during his dire need of money were also not raised well.

• • Like this was the root of his problems back when he was asking the ML for help, Ori. FL became pregnant again and again, so in the end her job was compromised, that made their life even more difficult.

• • And even though ML knew this was the problem, it not very proper to say it to another man he has no blood relation with. Specially the Ori. ML who was priding himself for have children before the ML. As they got engaged and married on the same days.

• • Ori. ML could have easily removed himself from his wife's natal family home when he knew they were exploiting him. But he stayed because of his pride. I mean, when everyone said things behind his back for joining a job through backdoor, he let go of his pride to intigrate himself with the crowd. He has pride problems at the weirdest times.

• • Ori. ML also thought he doesn't have to contribute in the house chores and his children's unbringing. Very machoistic thought process.

• • Ori. ML's younger child *daughter* was given to his younger brother as the younger brother as a live-in son-in-law needed a child with his own surname. And the Ori. ML himself was in no situation to provide for all 5 children.

• • And in the end as it turns out, that young daughter was raised to be a better person that the other four troublemakers.

There are people in the comments saying how the Ori. ML had never done anything bad towards the ML and that ML was taking unnecessary petty revenge on the Ori. ML. And that ML shouldn't have replied like that to the struggling Ori. ML when he stretched the hand to ask for help.

From the get go the Ori. ML never had any opinions of his own. Very indecisive. Ori. ML on one hand asked for ML's help but in his mind never really considered him a friend.

I would say that our ML's was right to be cautious of Ori. ML's protagonist halo. Although every answer to Ori. ML sounded very petty and pointed, they were very diplomatic as they were based on his own relationships, not to mention this way he had also subtly reminded Ori. ML of the Ori. FL's flaws and be cautious of it, but the Ori. ML was too adamant. You can only lead the horse to the water but not make it drink.
