Chang Qing transmigrated into a novel of having children with a rich family, and became a vicious widowed man who has been hindering the gong’s HE.

This widowed husband attracted bees and butterflies excessively. From brother-in-law to eldest cousin, he hooked up all over the place. He was finally driven out of the house with a broken leg by his brother-in-law, and was reduced to homelessness and death in the street.

The point at which Chang Qing transmigrated into happened to be the first time that the original owner, who had not yet become a widow, climbed into the bed of the gong.

Facing Lu Zheng, whose face had sank and was about to come and beat him up any minute, Chang Qing gathered up his scattered shirt and solemnly said, “… I just went to the wrong room and slept in the wrong bed. Can you believe it?”

Lu Zheng: … hehe.

In order to avoid being kicked out of the house as a beggar by Lu Zheng, Chang Qing decided to be a virtuous husband.

However, this chaste husband is not easy to do. In the book, the original owner took the initiative to hook up with all kinds of bosses and all of them in turn hooked up with him to seduce him to remarry.

Regarding these big boss’s courtship, Chang Qing refused. And the memorial archway above his head sparkled: I love my husband very much.

In the end, even the real gong, that is, his brother-in-law Lu Zheng, couldn’t help but forcibly demolish his fierce husband memorial arch, and hold him down. He gritted his teeth and threatened, “You’re not allowed to remarry. If you dare to remarry, I’ll break your legs.”.

Lu Zheng always felt that his eldest sister-in-law was coquettish, always looking at people with a hook in his eyes, and was always provocative, even daring to climb into his bed one day.

Lu Zheng was thinking about how to teach him a lesson. As a result, this man stopped being coquettish. His buttons were always fastened to the top of his shirt, and he was fully clothed. You couldn’t see any skin at all. He looked so stoic and serious. This made Lu Zheng unhappy.

It was the first time that I didn't read the description of a novel. If I did I would have been prepared to what happend in the early chapters. I am still crying. I can't even tell if its good or not. I never cried so much and I was only at chapter 12. I really liked Lu Xuan. I liked how easily he got red.

EDIT: I am at chapter 43 and hell no. The MC is s*upid. No vicousness as in the title. He is just simple s*upid. He... more>> was really interessting in the beginning of the story. And he is not smart... The kidnapping incident? There is no sense behind it.

For a transmigration story is pretty OK. Yeah, for other people MC would look boring but I like how he's a normal person. He aint Gary stu nor had a golden finger. Just a very ordinary guy that happened to be selected to transmigrate. Pacing is pretty nice, the zero IQ younger siblings had a character development, relationship is slow burn and very healthy. It gave off a family story feeling bcos development happened at home. The transition from former ML to current ML made me cry so much! I... more>> too had fallen for the first MC

but no matter what, he is still destined to die. So heartbreaking. And MC staying a widow took a while. It took one whole year. It isn't sudden

At first, I did have reservations but later on, learn more about the second ML and saw how he's actually good and eventually liked him. He ain't perfect but his complexity made him suitable for MC and show a different way of loving in contrast to first ML. And this is one of the few times I like both former and current ML in a story LOL.

For people who don't like the second ML let this sink in: First ML was truly inlove with the original (vicious) owner way before MC transmigrated. But ML only took notice of Chang Qing and him only the moment he transmigrated. He doesn't like the vicious guy at all.

As for MC's feelings for the first ML...

I think a lot of people missed on how he was just falling in love (and is willing to fall inlove) with the first ML before the first ML died. They... spent a few months together and MC stayed single for a year even if he hadn't really fallen deep for the first ML yet. Also, there is a very important point made later that made me understand: what first ML truly loved is the ORIGINAL OWNER (the vicious one... not really the MC) and unfortunately he died before knowing MC is a transmigrator. Will he accept MC as a transmigrator/different person? I believe yes. He is just that perfect. But we can't do anything about it, he's already dead. Meanwhile, the second ML loved the MC as he is. Second ML is a prude and borderline as*xual and only took notice of Chang Qing the moment he transmigrated. He doesn't like the vicious guy at all. That is all the more reason I approved of him. He is the type who does not easily fall inlove but once he does, he loves exceedingly and exclusively.

Also I want to put a cent in that MC merely transmigrated in the body of a vicious person, he did NOT took in the character. So the changes in the story naturally happened because of the different personality. MC is someone who just wanted to avoid the bad ending of the original owner of the body (and fix the mess the aforementioned vicious original person did). <<less

underestimating the villain and failing to prevent husband’s death. His death makes sense within the story, but having such a likable character not getting to participate in the Good ending is just so... regrettable. Tbf, the company and personal relationships of the other siblings meant his death was a (sadly) positive change in their lives.

The story has the usual brain holes endemic to a main cast of the wealthy, but the overall characterization work makes it a worthy read. This is NOT a story stuffed with arrogant bystanders throwing themselves in the way of the MC’s slaps.

The villain is properly terrifying with his maxed-out gaslight-level social skills. The cannon fodder husband is the sweetest insecure cinnamon roll. The cold roguish ML reveals his secret coquettish side once he falls in love. The dumb brother and sister reform and show the most growth amongst the characters. The original MC protagonist gets a decent plot and becomes friends of the family. Various other supporting roles including a love rival get decent scripts.

MTL'd and it was decent. Honestly I'm in shambles. I fell hard for MC's first husband - he was so sweet. I cried a lot. Had a lot of moments where I wished I dropped the novel sooner, I'm surprised I lasted this long, but I think I finally reached my end point because I just can't stop being uncomfortable. and I also couldn't really like the MC.. and I kinda wished he ended up with anyone else but the ML haha.

The protagonist of the novel was such a good candidate - I would've loved to read that version instead.

I would've been fine if there was a reasonable amount of time skip.. but MC just moves on so quickly (which I get is fair because he really didn't get to establish a deep relationship with his first husband), but out of respect - I would have liked for MC to stay a widow a bit longer.

MC's been told to stop drinking so much - but MC would always wave it off and say 'nah I won't get drunk' but then he can't stop having these clumsy af accidents so he can physically be closer with the ML - have we not seen cannon fodders/supposed novel protagonists with golden fingers act this way in other novels? lol

despite the author trying to make ML seem hysterical - the sheer number of coincidences where the MC 'trips'/'falls'/has a clumsy 'accident' and ends up initiating an ambigious skinship with the ML was downright shameless and cliche...

MC was also pretty lacking in self-awareness... just makes a bunch of dumb decisions that ends up getting him in an unfavourable predicament.

Honestly I lost brain cells, but the plot was intriguing in the beginning as you don't usually see the story being executed that way. Though the themes were hard to swallow for me and my morals. <<less

From description I'm not sure who is actually MC husband. Hi name didn't appear and it just listed with the protagonist (novel world) name., 😅

I actually feel sorry for the actual husband. 😭 And it turn out there is a reason for it. To be honest with so may books I read... this is a first for me. I'm angry at author for even coming up with this idea. Yet in a way I wanna salute her for being so daring and totally out of the norm. Perhaps this is... more>> the reason why low ratings.

Finished the book. I glad they all found happiness. Life is never perfect. But sometimes, choose the most important things and leave those messy ones behind.

I finally read this novel after hesitating for quite a while and I have to say that I get why it has such a low rating. I was very shocked when the elder brother, Lu Xuan died after like, 10 chapters. I knew that it would happen but still, the moment he died, I thought "WHAT THE HECK?!". Damn, the author spare us no mercy. I'm quitting this story because I have lost interest.

Surprisingly, the elder brother is the most interesting character in this story and I like seeing his... more>> relationship with the MC became more intimate. The MC was the most likable when he was interacting with the elder brother aka his husband. So after the husband died, the MC also lost his spark and became very mundane. Other characters especially the husband's younger siblings were piece of sh*t and I don't want to bother reading their character growth.

So yeah, three stars is fair <<less

Real rating would be a 2.5 but I rounded it to a 3.0. It's not bad but also not good? I feel like if the ML was the elder brother it would have more development as the elder brother is a character that is not OP and has room to develop which would make the story more interesting but he died pretty early in the novel.

The actual ML is your typical OP character where he is smart, is a master of martial arts, know everything and can fight or do... more>> anything so there is not a lot of room for development which makes his character boring. Also, I found it ridiculous that the author made the MC a virg*n even though he was married and even has a side lover (the actor forgot his name). I know a lot of Chinese BL authors are obsessed with making their MC virg*n for the ML but in this case it makes the story too ridiculous that a widow married for a few months and has a side lover is a virg*n just because he's the MC. It even make less sense since the original canon fodder is supposed to be someone who want the easy way out for life and that's why he married the rich brother but somehow he won't let the brother sleep with him (???) and they even sleep in different room (???) even though the brother is perfectly healthy (???). A lot of plot holes in that sense...

Also, the MPREG.... beside the fact that male can get pregnant in the universe of the novel, the mpreg part was not important at all. I skipped to read the ending and it seems like MC and ML do not have babies ??? The mpreg was mention in the first few chapters but never brought up again. <<less

FINISHED (total chapters are 120, stopped at 101 cuz the ending was clear)
I don't know how to feel but this one to be honest, I was here for the forced, chasing and also forbidden romance but all I got is a children’s playground
When I started reading it I thought the husband that was supposed to die in the description already died but nope, he was alive and prob the only thing that was touching and made sense in this whole novel.
He was the perfect human and husband you could wish for a little but wimpy but cute, but his death was really unexpected cuz they really were looking like the perfect couple but I guess for the plot to work they got kill him
Also the unexpected antagonist that made us really think he was innocent was suddenly turned into a crazed man,... Like the whole thing,... Nothing made any sense at all
Also how can a 20 year old that did nothing but lazed around suddenly managed a company perfectly without any struggle,...
The sister arc,... She really wanted to make me mu*der
The 3rd brother and his side plot !!???? LIKE EXCUSE ME ??!?!?
Did they just totally ignore a crime like this like it was nothing??????
What was done was already done ???!!? EXCUSE ME ????
The ML is,... Really...
Like idk the plot line holes seem,... Endless or make you feel like there’s nothing but with some common sense make you feel s*upid.
It was a nice read if you just have time and just don’t really wanna think bout anything too deeply tho.

I feel bad to unable continue this story...

After all these all chapters, I couldn't help but keep looking back at early part of the story. I can't move on from the MC's first husband (as ML, but unfortunately he isn't).

All MC interactions with his first husband are very sweet, just as it is more than enough.

Sweet enough for the husband to try hard having his family to love MC and always stand by MC's side.

ah I do get it the 3.3 rating

First half of the book I was like.. this kidos on NU really to harsh on rating, it does have flaw and bit dragy but absolutely not deserving of 3* rating.

After a good build up (imo), and I have a slightest hope after (i tought) I saw a foreshadowing, it will be wife chasing crematorium thingy.

... more>> Or at least some kind of wife chasing stuff.

Then poop... Out of nowhere the ML say " I miss you "

And I was like 😒😒😒😒😒😒

It's a good slice of life tho.. but dang.. it has potential to be a wife chasing thingy.

So yeah now I know why it's 3.* <<less
