A long time ago he made a promise on the ice field where death and snow were intertwined.

Years later, Necromancer Burris worked very hard to finally break the curse of the ancient gods and let the imprisoned Skeleton King leave the Marsh of the Dead and return to the human world.

As a token of gratitude for fulfilling the promise, the mage not only regained his youth but accidentally gained something else –

A love story with a higher undead demigod, an infernal being?

Yes.

I found this book by chance. This has the flavor of a fantasy novel, romance mixed with adventure and a rich world building, and comedy. The protagonist is an inexperienced mage necromancer who made a promise with an undead demigod, and obviously they are the main pairing :)

If you like well written characters, romance in a fantasy setting, comedy and want to enjoy an interesting story, I really recommend this novel.

I've only read up to the currently translated chapters but I'm leaving this here to encourage others to give this a read.

So far, this has been quite interesting, as well as funny and entertaining in general. I've already been surprised a couple times by how the characters acted. Especially when it comes to the MC and ML, I'm curious about their past and their motivations. The ML deserves a special mention cause he really isn't quite what I expected; he's just *chef's kiss* the best XD

Totally recommended :D

Thanks for translating... more>> this, Mini Pig's Paradise~! I'm looking forward to what'll happen owo <<less

This is a great comedy novel featuring a unique couple. It's not comedy in the raucous, rolling-on-the-floor kind of way, but rather in an amusing, light-hearted manner.

The MC is quite innocent and dense but not in the ignorant way. Rather, he is simply too analytical and unable to understand issues of the heart. This is not at all helped by ML's quirky and eccentric personality. ML is really great. Despite being an undead demigod, he is not tyrannical, possessive, or cruel. Instead, he is affable, straight forward, and a total... more>> spazz. He can be serious when he wants to be, but is generally a cheerful and romantic jokester who is easily distracted by anything new or exciting. Additionally, his terrible metaphors never cease to amaze.

Spoiler

Like when he likened concentrated poisons in a spread out area compared to a dense area like "peeing in a river compared to peeing in a bucket."

It is funny how he reads tons of romance novels and plays out his own romantic delusions with MC. Like when he tried to be a knight in shining armor and told MC close his eyes and not to be afraid of corpses... except MC wasn't fazed at all as he's seen thousands of corpses before. His antics always fail, but he still tries regardless.

It is also really cute how he is prone to baiting MC into asking him questions, just so he can put on his own soliloquys. He gets all "If you're not going to ask me then don't ask me... I said don't ask me... You're really not going to ask me? You want to know, right? Right? You want to ask, I know you do." *expectant begging eyes* Then rambles on for ages once MC finally gives him and asks.

He is so terribly frank with his thoughts that MC even thinks that, "every time he heard the Skeleton King talk like this, he had the illusion of seeing someone running naked in the streets." Bwahaha.

[collapse]

Not to mention, the world building is great and the circumstances are interesting. Highly recommended for a different western fantasy-type BL novel. <<less
