Very enjoyable read. I couldn't stop laughing at all the pick up lines. I loved it all of it no matter how cheesy.

Not too much drama. Everything is simple and lighthearted.

Its a short novel so there's not much to say other than that the author did well for the amount of chapters written.

It's a nice read to pass time and laugh at the MC and ML's interactions.

Aaaaaaaahhhhhh omg this is just so adorable! Neither of them are weak, and their reactions are just so hilarious... Zhao is just so adorably awkward with his straightfaced attempts at seduction (zero love sense, but think reciting cheesy pick up lines with a serious and straight face). And Ji Han... oh jeez, such a tsundere. So adorable!!

Wasn'r sure how to rate this by the time I finished it. It started as a 4-star rating in my heart (I really liked the first part), but the more I read, less unsure I became if it deserved 4 whole stars or not. As of now, I feel like 3.2 to 3.5 stars might be where is at, so I will round down.

Towards the end (not talking about the extras), it became a bit boring and some important scenes that they built up ended up with a rushed, blink... more>> and you miss it, result.

The extras still did not do much to make any kind of progress in the main couple's relationship (that brief, put there as an afterthought, fleeting kiss was super underwhelming).

I liked how funny, kind of sweet and chaotic this was in the beginning. I had fun reading every page. But they couldn't hold that kind of peace and comedic relief undertone. Even if the author wanted to write a serious conflict and some internal struggles and whatnot, I would have accepted it easily if it was done well. I would have even ignored all the rushed action, the useless back-forth, if we at least got some hand holding and a proper confession from them (the sword exchanging event in the extras did not do it for me, because the sword barely mattered at all the entire time, I even forgot they had them).

The ending, to me, was abrupt. The extras failed to deliver what I was looking forward to. End of the main story was meh, at best. I feel unsatisfied now that I am done with it.

However, if you are looking for a mindless short kind of fluffy story, go ahead. It is honestly not a bad novel, it's just that the work made me lose most of my entire interest by the end. I got my hopes up for the extras and those didn't do much for me at all. <<less

Why in the world do people like this? This is the first time I've come across a novel with such ridiculously one dimensional characters.

It gives the impression of being written by a 12 year old who just got introduced to fanfiction.

Very short. Like, mini-chapters that end at punch lines of jokes, makes for funny fast paced read, but like anything this short feels a little lacking.

You really have to be in mood for it. I'd advise coming back to it if you don't like the first group of chapters.

The comedy and fluff are gold. I love the dense MC + tsundere ML combo here. Their relationship develops organically, and SUPER healthy. The supporting cast is lovely as well.

If comedy and fluff had a fussy baby this would be it. A funny quick read. The storyline was just very sweet

It was a beautiful read. I loved the characters and the storyline was quite good. Even though the novel is really small, once you start reading it, it covers an entire story. It doesn't feel like rushed or incomplete. I truly loved it!!! Thanking the author and the translator for bringing us this piece of gem 🙌🙏

Great book! It's small so I finished it in few hours and it's best to read if you don't want to read anything too heavy. It was hilarious and well written. Probably one of the best novel to pass some time.

Probably more 4.2, but the CP is so much fun that I read the whole story in one go.

The premise is just hilarious. The MC gets a literal seduction manual! And he follows it! Poor ML, LOL.

There's actually some plot here, and the story is sweet. Good and short wuxia rom-com.

This was strange but pleasant reading!

The first half of the book is PURE COMEDY, I love it, then all stops to start the serious business and the action.
It has happy ending tho 😚!

The story is about this number one swordsman that get the mission about faking to be in love with the new Demonic creed head so the alliance can found the secrets of the place and beat them.
But all went WRONG WRONG from start!! Really, all the begining part is hilarious 😂

Hmm each chapter is very short like only a few paragraphs. Super annoying to keep clicking next and having to wait to load. So the story keeps starting and stopping, it's annoying. Also, the translation is not great.

Never read a novel this quick! Just finished it very quickly (1day) and must say I loved every bit of it. It is hilarious and chapters are short which makes it easy to read! Read it on wattpad and the comments are so funny!

Highly recommend

A short but sweet story. No unnecessary misunderstanding, no unnecessary heartache, just two characters slowly falling in love. The MC is endearing and the ML is also cute I like them both so much so when they are finally together I feel soo happy.

The translators also did a good job translating this so reading them is enjoyable.

Worth the read!

What the heck? Why is this so cute?! Ugh these two own my heart!!! This novel was so funny and I am so grateful that it was 100% wholesome while not being just a bunch of nonsense. The plot was interesting and even though it's very obviously comedy none of the characters are idiots or get on your nerves. I will admit, I thought they would get together waaaay earlier on in the novel but well... we are dealing with two emotionally stunted men *shrugs*

It's a short and very cute novel.

Initially I hadn't expected too much from it but it pleasantly surprised me.

It has a funny comedic undertone (and lots of second hand embarrassment scenes I so much love) and has a light atmosphere most of the time. It isn't a serious novel generally, but there is a plot which connects the story in later chapthers.

There was a substantial relationship between them, too, though they aren't as skilled in this field as they are at wielding their swords (they get better at it tho,... more>> practice makes perfect!).

Both Zhao Jiangui and Ji Han are two sweethearts who gradually grow close and who eventually "head towards the road to each other's heart."

The novel left a satisfied and warm feeling in me for which I must give it much credit. <<less

It's a good short read! A little difficult for me to get into, but once you've reached chapter 30 or so, it becomes very interesting! The climax is pretty well written, even though the mastermind can be easily deduced from the hints. The comedy of this novel made me laugh! Though, this is my first time reading a tsundere gong, which I'm so not used to... But the CP is cute, wish there's more intimate, romantic scenes though. At one point in time, I even thought this was just bromance... more>> lol. <<less

I LOVE when one of the pair is younger, the ML here is a tsundere - seemingly getting yelly and angry but is actually very pleased and eventually likes the MC back. The MC is one of those people who goes by the book - says sweet words, is quiet and a little dense (doesn't understand that the heart and the mouth sometimes doesn't aligned) but he's very sincere and earnest when it comes to the ML!

Just comedy hijinks. A quick funny read.

Pros :

It's a funny one. Each chapter is short. People thought ML like MC but ML just want to fight MC, then the righteous sect asked MC to seduce ML. ML thought MC is the who likes him when neither of them like eachother. Their dynamic is good.

Cons :

It's too dull for me, but it's a good read when you want something light and funny.
