Nie AnAn woke up one day and realized that she had transmigrated as the villain’s adoptive sister.

In the novel, the villain conquered left and right, and his always woe-is-me younger sister was always cleaning up after him. The two of them were rightfully the grim reapers in the book.

The very next day after her transmigration, the soft and delicious Nie AnAn passed out from seeing blood.

And so —

The shivering competitors noticed that their nemesis’s sister had turned to a delicious treat — and wanted to protect her;

The original male lead noticed that young Miss Nie, who had been chasing after him this entire time, wouldn’t even give him the time of day anymore — and felt unbalanced;

Young Master Nie was very happy that his parents had two kids back then– she was so cute;

A certain cold blooded and violent villain had been going home earlier and earlier, and the way he talked was becoming gentler and gentler.

Villain Brother: AnAn, come over. Let me try some of it.

Nie AnAn: Hold on, gege. It’s not ready yet.

This novel was entertaining. There are a lot of things that didnt make sense but it was a good novel to spend time. Not the best tho. Also I am a little sad since we dont even know what happened to her career?

Spoiler

Ofc they ended up together but we dont get to know if she continue working as a nutritionist? most probably not and just stay at home as a mother and wife...

[collapse]

ALSO something I didnt like was how they portray her as the model of how a good woman/wife should be (soft, quite, obedient). And how dependent she ended up to the ML. She didnt do anything else at all?? she didnt even go out with friends, she didnt have to begin with!, all her world was the ml, which is kind of lacking.

This novel made me cringe a LOT haha but still I have to say it was interesting enough bc I finished reading it XD <<less

Nothing very unique, but very lovable.

it’s simple and nice. Helped me to lift my mood. Very light read and quite short. It took me only half a day to finish. But that’s also a good point for it.

Our MC is quite simple and very young. She got transmigrated in the book the read. And not just somebody p, but her favorite character adopted sister.

I like both main characters. Even though they are quite typical, it is still nice. It fills nice. I will return and read this again when I’ll... more>> have bad mood.

I recommend. <<less

Please don't read...!!

So cliche.. Its a miserably predictable novel. It was a pain to even finish it. Everyone and I mean it everyone of the characters are two dimensional begins. The novel is soo fast paced that you just can't connect with any characters. Plus such predictable storyline, it was a self punishable read.

Ahhhh... I have such a bad headache because of it, I'll have to go and reread my old favourites to wash off this bad taste from my mouth.

Save yourself and skip from here.

It's a quick read (thanks translator) and quite fluffy. The storytelling style is a bit direct, which makes it seems rushed/short, and some plot points could definitely be expanded more. Some parts are a bit unrealistic but if I want something realistic I probably won't be reading transmigration stories lol it's still alright.

I am rating this as 5 as I think it deserves a higher score (it's currently 3.8 and I think this should be 4).
Overall it's a quick simple read, but I wouldn't say it's a masterpiece or... more>> anything. It's worth reading if you are looking for some stories that you don't want to think deeply about. Edit: ironically after reading a lot of transmigration stories this one ended up being quite memorable to me as the character is quite unique.

8/10. <<less

This is a story that simply lacks the punch that would put it over the other way too similar works of the same genre.

Is it bad? No, not really, the characters that you are supposed to like are likable, those that you are supposed to dislike are hateful. The romance has a natural progression but there's nothing remarkable about it.

Granted not all romance stories have moments as memorable as "The Rebirth of the Malicious Empress of Military Lineage" that after years I would still remember when a drunk Shen Miao... more>> asks Xie Jing Xing to "serve this empress" but it's still pretty bad when a romance novel has a romance with no high or low points.

Is it good? Not really, the plot is shallow but works even if it seriously lacks any high note or detailed conflict. The MC and ML have some misunderstanding but they deal with them quickly, the ogML is the villain but he never poses a serious threat to anybody so there's little to no tension.

Overall this a bit boring and forgettable story that you might only read if you have some time and nothing better to read since it's pretty short but not too short.

I think it would have been better if either the author cut some stuff and made it a short story or fleshed out the conflict and the characters better, making it longer and more detailed.

The translation is really good and you can still read and enjoy the story for what it is so I will rate it 4 stars but objectively speaking it's closer to 3. <<less

An easy to read story. It was a very typical transmigration romance, with a soft and sweet FL and a cold, distant ML where the ML is her "adopted" brother.

There's not much conflict in the story, only a tiny bit of face-slapping and some family drama (ML side), but nothing super exciting. The story focuses more on how their relationship developed, and even then it was very typical

Story was fun, but nothing special.

The MC can be a bit dense at time in my opinion. She's also a bit too naive about certain things. I do appreciate that she would have some thoughts that other novels like this don't though. Thoughts like, "I was only 18 until I came into this body!" I also like how the story is written and that most of the misunderstandings are cleared up quickly between the MC and ML. There are some novels that drag on misunderstands for a long time. Those can be interesting to read,... more>> but it's also nice to have the misunderstands cleared up quickly too. I enjoyed reading this book overall and actually checked everyday if it updated even though I didn't have an account on this site yet. <<less

This series was a gem to read. The soap opera elements were approached with a light yet impactful touch. The character development moved along wonderfully, with each choice making sense for each given character. The romance between our main couple moved along without any convoluted drama. I never once felt that the story was dumbed down even when silly elements such as "magic tattoo removal" were employed. The conclusion and after stories were also laid out in an entertaining and equally impactful fashion as well.

A big shout-out to the "fringe... more>> folk" who translate over at the Fuyu Neko translation website for taking the time to translate this story. Whilst there were a few minor typos towards the end, the translation work was fun and easy to follow. Thanks again for your efforts! ≪3 <<less

Weak plot. Basically no plot tbh. The entire novel is so straightforward to a point of nothing really going on ever. I dropped it after waiting so many chapters for something to finally happen and didn’t.

The good things:

  1. FL and ML have a straightforward, fluffy romance
  2. Both FL and ML are wary and sharp, and doesn't get anyone's attempt on dogblood drama get in the way
  3. FL's family is straightforward and supportive
The bad things:

  1. The plot is straightforward, if you're here for a dramatic plot or complicated story with lots of dogblood, this story isn't for you.
  2. Character/plot development is little or none at all.
3/5 stars: Overall it was a sweet, enjoyable read. Something to binge and finish, but not something I'd re-read.

Who says the story was not good? Because it's short? Because it's typical? So what? If you compared it to others which have looooong chapters, I better read this all over again because it's not boring. The story is refreshing to my liking. I love it! I'm thanking the translator and the Author for the job well done. You have an amazing work here. Though, I'm quite curious of the reaction of AnAn when she found out what happened between his biological brother and Qin Ziyi. When I'm reading half... more>> way through I have a hunch exactly between Chengfeng and Ziyi. I don't really hate Ziyi from the beginning because I laughed at her antics. She's cute and frank. Though she's spoiled but she's innocent.

I don't quite understand others claiming that the story is unsatisfying because it's short or whatever. Beacuse you see, everyone of us have different references and different perspectives. I'm glad that it was complete. <<less

I dropped this novel because it's not logical... I accept some suspension of belief in my novels but this is too much. I hate how they highlight her uniqueness using unrealistic situations.

Spoiler

Why would the nutritionist be popular in a TV show that's supposed to showcase actors? Why would a prestigious family choose a 20 year old nutritionist instead of someone older and more experienced to manage the nutrition of an elder with a many disabilities? I'm annoyed at how much her family likes her instantly despite being unable to recognize her. Finally, her adoptive brother realized her sister's soul is now a stranger and he just accepts that and treats her warmly? Wtf.

This series was honestly a let-down. I was expecting more when the story started with how the ML and the original goods were painted as bad guys, especially with how the FeMC would deal with both of these settings.

Although it was fun seeing everyone go "IS THAT REALLY HER?!?!" and the fluff that followed after, the ending really feels too rushed. I didn't even notice that it had been the finale already and then it was over.

I would still recommend for it if you're into fluff and cooking but for... more>> themes like pining or drama, it pales in comparison to many other novels. <<less

Another flat, 2D novel.

Very much relies on the white lotus, can cook great meals, is actually the lost daughter of a wealthy, powerful family trope.

Completely unoriginal.

The villains are very black and white and quite a few things in this book frankly makes no sense and if you use your brain, you will notice many unsettling details.
    1. Even though ML is rebirthed, he is CHILL when he realizes MC is not his sister. He seems to be completely taken in.
    1. When MC is recognized by her long lost parents, they... more>> immediately cast all the attention on her and ignore the son, who is pampered and should DEFINITELY hate the MC. (I know it's a popular tactic to use, but it doesn't sit well with me here) Course not, he's just as taken in by her as everyone else.
    1. MC is a complete idiot to think that she can weasel out a lie that she is all of sudden a god in cooking. WTF was she thinking.
In conclusion, a novel to pass the time, but make sure your own morals aren't being impacted. <<less

Kudos to the translators group "Fuyuneko" for the great work. This novel belongs to fluff-villain counterattack genre. There is no unnecessary drama solely designed for face slapping segments. Also, there is no brain dead supporting characters existing for the purpose of increasing the MC's halo. This is short and sweet novel more apt for a session of lighthearted reading. Don't expect some riveting revenge drama. With that set of expectations, I would give a 4/5 rating. Treat it more like watching a romantic movie on a weekend when you are... more>> utterly bored :) <<less

Naturally, it is fast-paced, though it is very light so I can understand some of the loopholes.

I disliked the sudden change between MC and her brother. At first their relationship is on bad terms but suddenly she acts "cute" and starts to calling him "big brother" with a tone like she's a child. Very unrealistic.
