The Duke’s daughter, Lelouche, received a revelation from God.

“You’ll die in 100 days.”

There were rumors that her fiancé, the crown prince, had found another woman and was about to annul their engagement.

…Moreover, it seemed that no matter what she did, Lelouche couldn’t escape her death. However, the circumstances and the method of her death could be changed.

After being told that, Lelouche offered a bet to God.

“If I can show you a beautiful death, I want you to reward me.”

“Alright. In your next life, I will grant your wishes.”

…Well, looks like I got my hands full—thought Lelouche.

She couldn’t leave that thieving cat as it was. She also had to do something about her withdrawn brother. She had to prepare something to support her parents.

She had a lot of things to do…!

In the end, she shall regret nothing…!

Thus, a life where she made a bet to a God had begun.

A short but enjoyable read. There's nothing too complicated about the plot, but there's some clever and interesting subversion of expectations and character dynamics. The romance isn't really all that well developed, but it is well paced and lacks cliche tropes.

The main character is confident and self assured, which I liked. I'd say the story is relatively light despite the serious premise. If you want something brief, easy to digest, and well translated, it definitely isn't a bad choice.

I definitely loved the novel, the way it was written and the protagonist's personality enchants me, I read it on the site where the author published it in Japanese, so it was kind of difficult for the translator

!!BIG spoiler warning!!

As I understand ML is the God, he falls in love with her, in her first life she was a witch, he was a hero then he becomes a god, he wonders why FL never smiled, so he made her reborn several and several times, however, she always lost her memory, so he ended up falling in love with her, after so many attempts to make her smile, God decides to warn that she would die in 100 days, according to him, this because of his "selfishness ", and then she lives the 100 days making Remyer a good future queen, she also makes her brother recognized by her paintings, and helps her parents stay strong so they can withstand her death, then she dies on prom day, dancing or something, her fiance picks her up in his arms crying and Remyer screams that FL could be the only queen while crying, she and lelouch really became close, her best friend, the prince, her fiance's younger brother, after his death developed alcohol problem, however, later he becomes a hero and lives a normal life, when FL dies, God comes to get her for the afterdeath, so she asks him to dance, he says he can't dance, so she just takes him in her arms and starts to spinning with him in the air simulating a dance, she asks the god to fall in love with her, and then she comes to the afterdeath after a while FL comes back and gets ML.

so end of story

I would definitely recommend this novel. It's mysterious and endearing, you always think the protagonist will do something, so she surprises you by doing something beyond expectations, I mean, her attitude is so calm <<less

For a character barely mentioned and did not appear in the current timeline, the Queen sure did a lot of damage to the development growth of Lelouche, Sazanjill, and Zafield. She put strange ideas and expectations on Lelouche, she heavily discouraged her sons from getting involved/assisting Lelouche in terms of "womanly" matters and predicament, and barely being there for her sons (where's the king?) ? I mean look at what happened with Sazanjill and Zafield.

If you ask me whom I feel pity the most, I would say it's Sazanjill. He's... more>> earnest but that strength turned into his weakness as he's mislead by the people close to him (his mother, brother and even Lelouche). Don't get me wrong, he's a fool for being trusting and easily influenced considering he's the crown prince.

The second one would be Lumierre. Surprising, right? That the two persons most hated in the beginning of the series would turn out to be the one who received my sympathy the most. How ironic. Anyway, what happened in the beginning is mostly her wishing she would have a much greater life. (Nobles always belittling and bullying her due to her status.) She's wrong for not correcting the misunderstanding quickly. She's the type to complain but do it anyways. She didn't deserve getting involved with the mess though, although it did benefit her at the cost of her friend's life. Lol???

For a woman on a death row (somewhat), Lelouche did all she could. Her loved ones may not understand her (nor could I) but her actions are her decisions and considerations. At least she's happy.

I don't know what in the world happened to Zafield to become so... foolish psychotic but he needs help. He had been condoned and neglected causing him to become starved for love/attention (quite delusional too) I guess. Anyway, I guess he's now atoning for all the impulsive things he did that cause so much destruction for others.

Would I recommend this? Nah. My brain died and my heart just felt so tired. <<less

Wow this is a good one. I definitely liked the FL's personality and this got me to continue reading.

Definitely worth it. It's quite short so it's not dragging the story.

Recommended.

At the moment of writing this, there are only two properly translated chapters. After reading the second chapter, I have to say that I was about to drop the story. But, I MTLed it for just in case. Guess what? I continued reading until chapter 32. That is to say, don't lose hope. The story is more mysterious, complicated, and unique than expected.

Finished, surprisingly refreshing in that all parties are responsible for their share in misunderstandings, and the ending is truly beautiful. But it is true, this novel is major character death and tragedy, read the tags and don’t expect her to miraculously survive.

Its more MC/everyone even if the endgame is obvious around halfway.

About the second prince:

I think his ending was good and not redeemed at all. He might have been redeemed in history’s eyes but his final attempt at attention was foiled and has to live with the knowledge that he caused her death in the end, and his brother likely finds about it too which is a shame because First prince really thought of him as a brother and trusted him despite knowing a bit about his underhanded means.

All in all a great novel, just not very deep in scheming, or extremely convoluted plot. Very straightforward. <<less

I loved every character, I loved the story, and I loved the ending. Lelouche is quirky, fun, but still kind and dignified. The villains (if they can even be called that) are sympathetic, and the translation is good. ♥

Spectacular I just read the last chapter as an mtl, and it was lovely. This was straight up spectacular.

The characters, well they are all human to say the least; they all have traits I see someone having. They arent complex 3d people, but still for how short this story was and what it wanted to achieve, it did everything correctly.

The plot, well I think its accurate to say there is no plot. The chapter are there so you can meet and know the characters to set up for the final... more>> scene. In that sense its a slice of life, but not purely.

The world building, well... technically, its bad but it doesn't harm the story. I think there was a better way to use the worldbuilding to set up for the final stage, especially since it plays such a small role, its nearly negiable. Again no harm.

This is a great short story I highly recommend it. There seems to be some extras? I didn't read those. <<less

This story has me hooked. It is a winding tale, with my view of each character constantly being challenged and changed. I think I have loved and hated all of the main characters at some point.

This is a real gem, but you have to work through a lot of confusion, so stick with it!

I really liked how complex the characters were! You might think it's the cliched fiance-has-an-affair plot, but it's more than that.

I kept trying to guess who the ML was, and it was pretty difficult!

I also spent the last few chapters crying (in a good way) though XD

I regretted it so much for underestimating the "tragedy" tag in this story because I really feel bitter throughout the story. No, it wasn't for MC (because she was quite easy going about her death), rather it's because of Sazanjill.

He was actually a good guy although sometimes he was a bit silly and foolish. And he really loved MC wholeheartedly. Too bad MC was destined to die so she didn't dare giving him a chance.

I wish this story could be splitted into 2 stories: one was about MC and Sazanjill having a happy ending and two was about the god and the "witch" having a happy ending because I really like MC and Sazanjill pairing. <<less

It was a really good ready.

The FL has a really interesting and funny character. The people around her were not perfekt and made alot of mistakes but at the end they all loved here very much and cared about her in their own way so I couldn't really bring myself to fully hate or love anyone of them...

There wasn't that much romance in this novel but the drama part and the FL's character especially the way she always do smth. unexpected made this a quite enjoyable read, so I defenitly... more>> recommend this novel. <<less

Pretty good, but in terms of romance, I don't find it fulfilling, it's more of a plot type novel. I find the romance part lacking, if you want a sweet one with lots and lots of sweet moments, would not recommend this. But on the other hand, my eyes was drowning during the whole time, I liked it quite a bit.

I love it. The plot is unique. The way it's written is enthralling, although a bit confusing. (Just a bit. Like a teeny tiny bit confusing).

All the characters are well written. The narration explored their POVs which was interesting to read because it revealed the main characters' hidden thoughts that are different from how they act. My opinions on each character continued on changing as the story progressed. I loved and hated each one at some point in the story. Furthermore, this kind of narration also brought about plot twists... more>> that I immensely enjoyed

I love it. This story is beautiful and easy to read. After reading, I ended up feeling good. It's a sweet and heartwarming read. This story is now one of my favorites. <<less
