This novel is in a really weird place for me. As many others had stated in their reviews, the beginning of this novel was amazing. It had me coming back wanting more as the story was riched and the characters intriguing.

But at some point, it started to turn for the worst. The potential heroine candidates started to become less interesting and more like background pieces. And storylines started overlapping as it became hard to follow and jump from one event to another without a satisfying explanation as to how it... more>> transition and came to be. Making the core story of trying to avoid the death flags play the second fiddle.

Eventually, I just started losing interest in this as it lost the spark that drew me in. Some will still find enjoyment in this novel, but sadly no longer for me. Maybe someday I will pick this back up again but until then this will be a 2 or 3 average at best for me. Take that as you may <<less

Alright, I’m seeing a lot of scathing reviews for this novel, but I feel that it doesn’t deserve to be so harshly criticized. (Despite me saying that, I do love this novel so I’m a bit biased). Most of the time, these reviewers were expecting one thing and got disappointed when the novel did not match up with their ideal story perfectly. One of the lower rated reviews mentioned a whole lot of discontent the poster had towards the heroine/heroines, but the romance is not exactly the driving force of... more>> the story, in my opinion. In fact, the main character often does not think about romance outside of the forced

character settings. Most of the so-called romance seems to stem more from the feelings of heroines, or misunderstanding the MC’s pity.

[collapse]

It was never a huge problem for me as I was reading, and I feel like the main character’s development and will to live in this new world is the main plot that should be worth criticizing or looking into.

Additionally, the translation by Active Translations is excellent quality and very fast. I can’t speak for some of the earlier translations by other groups, however, and if they were doing MTL I’m not sure how to say this.. what were you expecting? There are always limits to MTL (someone asked why
Spoiler

the emperor got named ‘Jim’ in MTL... bro the emperor was not named Jim! Jim is the phonetic pronunciation for a Korean noun that emperor’s referred to themselves by. Lol...

[collapse]
This is why MTL cannot always be trusted to be accurate.

Putting aside any wonky MTLs, I think this novel is one with a lot of potential, with a beautifully detailed world building, consistent settings, and interesting plot points and development for the main character. Definitely lacking some development for the secondary and supporting characters, but considering the quality of the story, I would say it’s excusable.

TROPES TO TAKE NOTE OF!!

  • misunderstandings about the main character (thankfully not as frustrating/painful as NTR or dramatic love issues imo... or at least the drama is done better than some others I’ve read)
  • Main character does have a bad rep.
    Spoiler

No sugarcoating, he was a plain scumbag before the MC uhh possessed? Transmigrated? Into the body..

    [collapse]
  • Author emphasizes the character’s original traits very often (could be considered annoying, but it’s consistent and doesn’t feel jarring or out of place when it is mentioned)
  • pretty OP protagonist (it’s a growth thing though, he’s not OP from the start)
  • hidden past (gets revealed piece by piece)
  • somewhat slow progression, but it’s done well.
All things considered, I love the story a lot. One of my favorite novels on this site right now, and one of the only ones I check for updates every day. <<less

I don't want to say much but I just know that I freaking hate Julie. She's too s*upid and credulous. She believe eveyrhing without a second thought. She literally does not know anything about the MC, how much he try to cure her, how has he agonized over it. 😤 AH! I forgot but I hate Sylvia too. I don't know why but she just seems to be a c*cky b!tch

There're many good points in this novels. I love the MC, . He's freaking cool! He has his dark side... more>> (which is Deculen's original personality) making him so dark and bright at the same time. There're common cliches too, like misunderstandings and so on. I actually don't like harem, but well... The MC just couldn't care less about them so his cheecky ignorance and arrogant demeanor overshadow those things.

Overall the story is A-MA-ZING!!! <<less

True rating 3.5, but I have big worries how it'll turn later + the stuff I read from spoilers, so I lowered to 3.

This novel is one you will love and hate, put simply. Now, without further ado.

Plot and setting are okayish. The premise is really cliche (the usual transmigration into a character of a game/novel), but it's interesting what kind of character it is (no, not that he's a villain, but that he's a professor... I think it's the first time I've seen this, and it's an amazing read... more>> how he gives lectures and all that, I love it). The problem is that the plot is really convoluted sometimes, and that the author's favorite tools are drama and misunderstandings, which does get tiring after a while. At the same time, the setting is nothing special, but it's okay, except that the magic feels unnecessarily complicated. Well, it's kind of understandable when it's coming from a professor during lectures, but still.

Characters. Hmm. The protagonist is definitely amazing. He's basically a cool bad guy that lowkey does good things. Like I already said, it's also cool how he's a professor, it's the first time I saw a protagonist being one. I have some bone to pick with how his favorite method of helping others is to make them hate him (be it to motivate them or whatever) : this really gets old soon. His personality has real limitations on his modus operandi, so it's somewhat understandable, but feels forced in the long run coz there's way too much of that in the novel. Also, he's a bit too OP a bit too soon, but it's understandable when he's a professor, and he still has to put plenty of effort into living up to his title.

Speaking of relationships between characters, they're very, very convoluted. It's one massive drama. There are a number of potential love interests, but it's hard to say whether it'll be a harem or not. In his previous two novels, the author went with harem but picked only one love interest eventually (no polygamy). In one novel, this was a bad thing (because he picked poorly), and in another novel, it was a great thing (because he did a much better job at developing romance between MC and the final love interest). As such, I'd say no harem at the end, but we will see, maybe the author will surprise us (or maybe not). However, I think it'd be nice if MC had just one love interest he could truly connect with and be supported by in this kind of setting as we see in this novel. It'd be a nice oasis of peace amidst the battlefield of convoluted drama plots, and I definitely wouldn't mind this not being a harem then.

I digressed a bit. Back to characters, I honestly don't really like any particular characters aside from the protagonist. I'm not sure why. Maybe it's because of their convoluted relationships with the protagonist, or maybe it's because those characters aren't fleshed out enough (not all of them), or because they aren't appealing enough to me as a reader. Lots of characters feel weird or outright fcked up, so it's kind of hard to like anyone imo.

What I disliked in particular was that MC's ex from earth got transported there too (like what's the point, just to fck with the readers?) and that MC "falls in love first" which is kind of bullshiet coz he has the original villain's feelings superimposed on his in this case. It feels forced and annoying, but it's not the worst of what's to come (according to spoilers I read).

Overall, it's a good novel, as long as you don't expect much from romance/harem/characters. <<less

It's 3.5 stars from me. This story is a type that slowly gets messy the more you read. It started fun and great, I was enjoying it so much until I realized it's getting old fast. There's one thing that I just couldn't stand:

Spoiler

When the MC wasn't the regressor. It's okay as long as the other character that has this power still trying their best to live and have a purpose, but the empress just... you know.

Anyway, it's fun when it's lasted!

Well since all the reviews seems to be super spoiler heavy I'll just follow the trend I guess :D

To start of I personally find that the story is well written and overall is cohesive though it does jump around a bit. The world building is also nice though there are some stuff that really makes it a bit weird to be honest. Overall the story is about an "average" person (at least in his own mind) who get's transported into the video game he's developing on and becomes the evil... more>> villain who's one of the mid lvl bosses and is also based on his appearance. Even though in the whole story so far the MC is only loyal and loving towards a single heroine there is the whole harem vibe and it focuses quite a bit around the different heroines that are in the story. A large part of the plot is also the fact that even when the MC finds out that he's actually not at fault for something or there are a lot more to the story the MC will always keep it hidden and instead bring all the blame unto himself. While the rest of the heroines at one or more points hates the MC and are then forced to find out the backstory on their own or someone will tell them which makes them like/love the MC again.

Epherene is the first introduced and her basic info is that the MC stole her fathers research and her father therefore blames the MC for being the reason why he commited su*cide which leads to why Epherene want's to take revenge on the MC. However she is unsure on how to do this and the MC turns out to be completely different compared to what her father had told her (since the MC took over before they met). Even though she's supossedly a super genius with one of the greatest talents when it comes to magic outside of that she's pretty much shown as the big b**bs no brain character who's more interested in food then anything else (even though there isn't much focus on her b**bs and it just get's mentioned some times that their big).

Further info that is heavily spoilerish on Epherene.

Spoiler

Eventually we find out that Epherene father is one of two ppl responsible for killing the MC's fiancée before the story started which was the main reason why he was kicked out. There is also the fact that he hated Epherene because his wife / her mother died while giving birth to her and the fact that she along with Sylvia have the highest possible magic talent. While he had next to no talent so he hated and envied her, there has also been hints that he was working with the MC's father to have his own daughter eventually killed and then be possesed by the MC's father. All of this made him abandon her shortly after she was born to her grandparents who raised her while he only visited once in a while. Because of her young age when all of this happened she only has happy memories with her father which are all pretty much just her imagination of a happy childhood and a loving father.

[collapse]

Sylvia is the second introduced character and she together with Epherene were born with the highest magic talents and both of them have the potential to become one of the next archmages. An archmage being a mage who has reached the peak and has thereafter become immortal, though they can still be killed, they just never die of age or natural causes. She quickly falls in love with the MC because of his knowledge, handsomeness (yes the MC is pretty much the most handsome person in the world) and magical skills. She is the tsundere of the story and is also quite the stalker of the MC which ends up with her knowing the most about the MC since she is almost always watching or listening in on him.

Further info that is heavily spoilerish on Sylvia.

Spoiler

Sylvia is part of a family that has for a long time been at odds with the MC's family with them killing each other quite often. In this case the MC was responsible for killing Sylvia's mother, the reason he did this was because he believed that her father was the one behind killing his fiancée, but it was as previously mentioned Epherene's father and the MC's own father who killed her. However there is also more to this story in that Sylvia's mother actually asked the MC to kill her. The reason why she asked him to kill her has not been completely revealed yet but it was mentioned that the mother was actually already dying because of a sickness or something and wanted to prevent Sylvia from slowly watching her die.

There is also hints at that the mother was either turning into a demon/devil or was somehow involved with the cursed letter that killed the MC's fiancée and hundreds of other people. A reason being why she wanted the MC to kill her was that his family is of a long line of demon/devil killers and they therefore hold special powers when it comes to killing demons/devils. But again this is still not resolved and all that has been revealed so far is that the MC killed her mother but that her mother had asked him to kill her.

[collapse]

Julie is the main love interest so far and the only one the MC has said that he loves. The problem however is that Julie at least at first hates the MC, this is because he acts as a villain while she is someone who goes justice this justice that and is frankly a goody two-shoes. She also hates him for breaking a promise or more of a demand she made towards him right before the MC got transported into the world. Can't go to much into her without it turning into spoiler territory.

Further info that is heavily spoilerish on Julie.

Spoiler

Julie is slowly dying because of a curse that hit her while she was protecting the MC back when he was going through a trial related to his family's lineage. The curse is slowly killing her and when the story starts she has barely a year or so left to live. However in this time the MC has started to make her love him and also started to fall for her but he is unable to find a way to save her. She was in the game created to hate the MC and the more she hates the MC the stronger she will become and eventually she will even be able to overcome the curse. So to save her the MC decides to push her into hating him.

To do this he changes the story of how her yandere knight tried to kill the MC into the MC killing the yandere knight cause he was jealous of him being to close to her. He get's her knight order closed for corruption and also kills her number 2 just because, though in truth the number 2 was corrupted. He even finds out that the reason why she is cursed and slowly dying is because of her father who used her to try and mu*der the MC during his trial by gifting her a bracelet (or something) that had tracking magic on it and more stuff. But because he needs her to hate him and he knows that her knowing any of this would only make her sad or downspirited which could lead to her death, he twists the truth in everything that has happened into it being his fault so that she can hate him more until she can either overcome the curse or he can find a cure.

[collapse]

Those are pretty much the main three but outside of those there is also (more spoilers so)

Spoiler

the Empress who slowly falls in love with the MC, the sister who is later revealed to not be blood related to him in anyway, the secretary who turns out to be an assassin who's never felt emotions before and who holds powers that would allow her to wipe pretty much the whole world. His ex-girlfriend from his old world that also got transported into the game, I do have to mention that their reason for breaking up is just weird since it's explained that she never stopped loving the MC and wanted to be with him but somehow decided to leave him and be with another man cause she wanted him to grow up??? There is also a special agent that seems to have started to harbour feelings for the MC and another teacher who at first hated him. So all in all the harem seems fairly large in this one.

[collapse]

Lastly a large focus or at least what we the readers are made to believe is a large focus is the death flags and how one of the MC's character settings is that he holds the fate of a villain which is that he will eventually die but each time he overcomes a death flag he will be rewarded. In this case he is rewarded by gaining store currency which allows a player to buy upgrades to their characters pretty much. Then throughout the story each time he manages to some how deflect certain death, potential death or future death threat he is rewarded. How this is handled is by mostly him just changing the mind of ppl and then he just get's + store currency.

This however becomes less of a focus as the story goes on and most focus instead moves around how smart the MC is and his relationships with the other heroines. There is also a bunch of end of the world quests that happens as the story moves on since apparently the game world is just set up to be destroyed one way or another.

All in all while the story in itself isn't anything special I found myself liking the MC (though the author seems to just throw tragedy at the guy whenever possible and the ending of the story doesn't seem to be happy) and compared to many other stories on here it is well written. Therefore I'll give it about a 4.5/5. <<less

Enjoyable novel especially first third. After a certain point, the novel moves away from it's original concept about Deculien getting killed to a regular Isekai. Author forgets a lot of major plot pieces and breeze past forgotten ideas. So, expect lots of plot holes.

There's reused concepts and characters archtypes from Novels Extra. But that doesn't take away from it's enjoyability. Not really a harem, romance is ok.

Garbage ending, rest was enjoyable, not to be taken seriously. Skip the epilogue.

The author fails to provide neccessary details for the readers to understand this novel.

1. What kind of game is this? RPG, Dating Sim?

2. How huge is the setting? The MC is everywhere.

... more>> 3. Who was supposed to be the main protagonist and antagonist of the game? The author is so repetitive that the professor is just a mid level boss. So who's the main boss and NPC?

I could list some more but they might spoil others. I don't really see any gaming element on this novel, the translators are also mediocre at best, they ruin every chapter by begging for donations. I mean I get it, but c'mon! At least be more subtle about it, it's like someone's about to take my lunch money every chapter. <<less

Right now I've rated this 5 stars. But I'm pretty sure it would drop down one star as the romance progresses, can't help think the Romance would be a downhill wreck KEKW.

Have really high expectations for this Novel, It's really well written so far.
The good points:
> The interactions between characters and the world building is really well done.
> MC is not another Teenager or an Adult acting like a Teenager *phew*
> MC actually exhibiting personality traits and constraints and not just bypassing them
> MC is not all kind and dandy
> MC is not totally emotionless as well
> MC knows his limits and is not some dumb guy who would chase after the enemies when he knows he can't do sh*t about it *clap**clap*
> Other characters are not one dimensional
> Death flags or so to say the feelings of ill will towards MC doesn't magically stop with one incident
> Characters have well defined personality
> The sister feels like a Tsundere but honestly she's just an emotional train wreck, she can't understand sudden good will falling on her when she was treated like sh*t from the beginning

The bad points:
> The Romance (which has not bloomed its colors fully but its a Harem so ya know how thats gonna end lol)
Spoiler

> Sister being not related by blood trope (pls don't go where I think it would go)

[collapse]
> Some misunderstandings feel a bit over the top but not that bad
> The Sister accepting changes in MC without questioning much (not saying she doesn't at all but she's a family member she should be the one who should be trying to figure out why he changed, is he even really the guy she knew or did something happened to him> which was all taken by another female)

Conclusion: Worth a Read, It's well written though I would never give most of the Novels my thumbs up for the Romance, but yeah I hope the Author learned from his past Novels and earn my one star reserved for Romance as well when its completed.
<<Will Edit this after it catches upto the raw or is translated completely, but so far its addicting>>

I just cant go further. I read the authors previous novel and loved the beggining; this is just crap.

I honestly dont even know where to begin with for the bad parts of this book.

The author is known for writing shallow and awful heroines, and this is maybe the pinnacle of bad. Every female is what early 20ish for this magic university, but they all act like 13 year old tsundere brain dead loli's. You have the sister who is a business woman through and through about to kill her brother... more>> all of a sudden giggling, and hopping and taking her brothers word at face value. The creepy love affair with the fiancee, and the 2 students.. HE IS 33 HAVING A HAREM OF 18 YEAR OLDS. Cmon man! Lets do some better writing than this. They even make the sister a step-sister so you know they can bang in the future. Such poor writing

Our MC had a cool premise, and the noble thing starts okay, but you realize its a convenient plot armour to make up for the author not knowing how to express any emotions with his characters. Cause sometimes he conveniently forgets half the personality traits that are supposed to direct his actions when its in the chase of a new 18 year old. The MC skills are also too OP broken. 'Understanding' okay, you just learned all of magic, and made your mediocre talent into genius level. 'Iron man' oh perfect maybe his only weakness, he needs 2 hours sleep, can wolverine regenerate and gains the physique of hercules in a week. Riiiiight, so well thought out.

And lastly this god awful forgotten plot.

The MC is supposed to be a mid tier villain. WHAT VILLAINY! Seriously! The only thing the MC is guilty of was embellishing his academic prowess. He has no torture chambers, doesnt kill people, or run casinos or drug dens or anything. He is a professor thats smug. And for some reason everyone wants to kill him, and he will be the target of heroes. As of now, the SINGLE thing that the MC has been associated with was he had contacts in the underworld that he no longer keeps. His one very low key bad deed.

TL;DR

There is no tension in this novel, as theres really no conflict or action. The creepy ass romance drama is off-putting, MC is a professor who can make gold in sales, not a villain. Not recommended. <<less

Ain't bad, got the flavour of 'The Novel's Extra" and intriguing intertwining relationships and what not.

Its just that the MC needs to carry the sins of the character he is possessing and doesn't really solve all of them

If you're considering reading this novel, I recommend focusing on the first 100 chapters, as they were genuinely captivating. However, the latter half of the story descends into an unnecessarily overdramatic soap opera with a conclusion that disappoints, coupled with a writing style reminiscent of ontology or epistemology books (awful). The final 20 chapters, in particular, were pure torture for me, that's how little I cared about anything that was happening at that point.

-World-building is practically nonexistent.
-Power-building is lacking throughout.
-Numerous inconsistencies plague the narrative.
-Even more plot holes and irrational motivations.
-The pacing is abhorrent, with the author abruptly shifting between storylines at the most exciting moments, completely diminishing the impact. A climactic moment occurs -> the page ends -> the narrative jumps to an unrelated side character that you couldn't care less about at that moment -> moment is ruined. And it happens a lot, like A LOT.

It's well ritten. I don't get the comments saying "uwah there's no happy end" like yeah. This is a tragic novel, not a power trip.

The MC is suffering from character immersion syndrome. I forgot that he was transmigrated by around chapter 100. Nonetheless, he is driven, well motivated and multifaceted, mostly due to the immersion and combining personality traits of the two.

Romance is sweet but sad due to how nothing gets resolved in the end.

World building is good, you feel the surroundings, and characters are actually people, not just cardboard... more>> plot drivers.

Overall, it's good, but the ending felt abrupt and anti-climactic.

10/10 Definitely would recommend!

Please do not listen to the low ratings that other people have written.

The plot of the novel was so well written that everything in it is actually connected even if you think it’s messy that’s because this novel plays a lot with time and distortion. You would not even think that something that happened in the early chapters are actually connected to the ending of the novel.

Every character is solid and significant. I actually never found anything in the novel that makes me dissatisfied. Please note that... more>> if you are confused with the way the MC is acting that’s because of the fusion between 2 souls which manifests both their characteristics.

If I’m dissatisfied of anything, it would be that sometimes the translation of this novel is quite chaotic but you’ll manage. And it would be even more perfect if they actually kiss but they only hugged. Well, one of them managed to land a kiss.

If you are looking to read this novel for the harem, let me tell you what you’ll expect. This is not a harem novel where MC has polygamy. No. This is a novel where it revolves around the MC and the female characters on it. If this wasn’t so well written I would definitely be dissatisfied by how there’s not much more intimate happenings. But the author presented this novel in a way that makes the MC and female character’s feelings to each other very clearly and makes it really okay to end in that matter.

There’s a lot of sacrificing in this novel but it will make you think that such sacrifice is worth it.

Definitely one of the best if not THE BEST novel that I have read so far.

Note: If you are mid-way reading the novel and you are wandering why are things happening in this way, just keep reading. By the end of the novel that things you are confused with will all be cleared up because the author’s use of time here was really very good. <<less

An excellent story detailing the new life of a game-dev turned villainous nobleman, whose awful personality merges with the MC's own after a freak isekai accident. Follow him on his journey of suppressing death flags to the best of his abilities while trying to make sure the end-game plays out as it should.

If you like excellently structured battles and SoL scenes that can near seamlessly transition to drama and tension then this is the story for you.

Unfortunately, these points only mostly apply for the first 2/3rds of the story. Honestly... more>> speaking, I think the author blew their load too early as the actual end of the story is narratively un-compelling and the sacrifices needed to reach it infinitely less meaningful and impactful than those that occured before the final few arcs. See spoiler for more details, do not read the spoiler unless you want serious spoilers.

Spoiler

In my personal opinion, the story peaked during Sophien's Demon Mirror arc and should've ended shortly after the Ephrene Regression arc. The Demon Mirror arc till the Ephrene Regression arc had excellent tension and character development throughout for most of the important characters. Almost everything after that point can basically be summed up as "Timey-wimey-wibbly-wobbly; God loves you and Deculein has (insert name here) 's admiration".

Deculein past the Ephrene Regression arc is too strong and capable, and everyone else gets nerfed in some capacity to facilitate Quay's "Enlightenment" and Deculein's "Zero Requiem" endings. This is not helped by the fact that battles are now skimmed over at best in the narration, outright skipped at worst. I'm not going to be going over Quay's "Enlightenment", but I will lightly go over Deculein's "Zero Requiem", or at least the broad strokes.

*ahem*, if you've watched Code Geass R2, just sub Lelouch for Deculein and mix Nunnally/Suzaku for Sophien. That's it. Seriously.

Or if you want something slightly wordier, Deculein joins the Final Boss Faction to get most of the baddies in one spot before helping kick-start the destruction of the world to instigate Sophien into gathering what is basically a hero squad to counter-attack and wipe most of them out. He then ultimately gets her to stab him in the heart, with his sacrifice helping to fuel a world-saving spell while he goes into the annals of history as a monstrous villain. Both of them are aware of this plan, and Deculein ultimately survives his sacrifice and enjoys a short, peaceful post-game life through time shenanigans.

Like many people have pointed out, this novel is great for its first part. However, at a certain point, the flaws that could be ignored at first just makes it obvious that the novel cannot go on.

Characters: this is the best part of the story. The characters are interesting and have their own stories. There's not much to say because they are already very well made.

Background: It's kind of filled with holes. There's no real logic. It feels like it's a plastic world built to contain the characters and the... more>> plot. It's quickly forgotten otherwise.

Plot: The author is really good at thinking of creative plotlines. The overall plot at first is really interesting but the more chapters are read, the more obvious it is that the author didn't plan what was coming.
It's like the author only had a rough idea of the ending, a very good plot layout for the beginning. Then he lost himself in the middle and given up because he wasn't interested in the story any more.
The strength of the plot are its creativity and mesh well with the characters stories.
The most obvious flaws are:
- an extreme focus on making everything go the way the protagonist wants, yet induce drama because what he wants may harm him.
- The intent to avoid making the protagonist fail in his endeavour is translated into enemies who are converted into allies/lovers.
The absence of a nemesis for the protagonist. From start to finish, he has no rival, no archenemy who oppose him. There is a final boss who is portrayed as opposing the protagonist but in reality, in most of the scenes he's very friendly and seem able to give up his master plan to get along with the protagonist.
He's even helping the protagonist through the stories as if they work toward the same goal.
- There's no tension in the story. Very early on, even if there are great stakes at risk, the protagonist indifference, opness and plot armour erase any tension that should be present in the challenges he encounters.

In conclusion, this story is close to wish fulfilment due to the lack of difficulty and the many women in love with the protagonist, but it's not there yet.
It's an immersive creative story that deserve to be read until a certain point. <<less

I... will take a break from this novel. I really tried to ignored the relateness I can found from the other reviews that are saying the story are crumbling and all but I guess it unavoidable.

Its a great story even from the start. Im not one to touch romance genre, heck even bait an eye but this one is excused. You can read this and judge it yourself. Good luck.

First, the story is really good to read. Aside from the difficult names of the character to spell, read and remember, there is something different on this novel from your general 'transmigrated story'. The plot is thick and there is always something to look forward to the following chapters. The world building is also smooth, in a way that tends to draw the understanding of the reader of the current setting of MC.

Second, the characters. The MC is peculiar. He is simply what he was described by the author in... more>> the beginning and I like the way he deals with his circumstances and overcome the situation. He attracts you more because of his train of thinking. Also, each character (s) have their own unique personality. Some are likable, some are annoying, some are witty and some are beyond common sense.

Though I must admit that if you read The Novel's Extra - the previous novel of this author, you might find similarity between
Spoiler

Chae Nayun and Sylvia

Third, I have confirmed it's indeed a harem. Each girl have their own stories and yeah, a series of thick misunderstanding as well.
Spoiler

fiancee Knight Julie, stalker Sylvia, not real sister Yeriel, s*upid Epherene, regressor Emperor Sophien, there is also this adventurer who I forget the name that is Kim Woo Jin ex-gf on real world

Through the nicknames I added, you can have the idea of their personality.

Still, this is one of the novels I greatly recommend. Active Translation really did a good job translating this so it's another plus reason to read it this. <<less

It's a good novel so far and Active Translations have provided quality translations. I don't really plan on doing a full review until the 100th chapter comes out, but I'll attest to the quality of the beginning.

The MC is an utter chad and proves you don't need to be an edgelord if you want to look cool.

So far the novel seems like it could be more of a Korean drama than a fantasy which I rate it though since the author is talented at it more than any other genre... more>> based on his previous novels,

My only complaint is that all the main characters are females. The author only bothers to make women interesting and leaves the villains to the men, or he simply just ignores them. I guess young teens would like this aspect though. I guess this is what is to be expected when reading a web novel. Oh and the power leveling is also kinda wonky, but I guess I'll have to read more chapters to form a solid opinion on it.

Overall a 4.5/5 novel so far, but I'll rate it a 5 since I want this to gain more popularity. <<less
