Q: What’s it like living with your mortal enemy?

Evelyn: The place is a luxurious 400-year-old mansion with plenty of space, so we don’t have to worry about wrecking it when we fight. The nearest neighbor is an hour’s walk away, which eliminates pointless socializing. Since my roommate’s cooking skills are nonexistent, I handle my own meals, and all food expenses are reimbursed. There are cats—two of them. Overall, it’s pretty good, aside from my roommate trying to kiss and bite me mid-fight.

Lorenzo: It would be even better if you could break your bad habit of pulling a silver dagger from under your pillow to stab me in the heart every night. 🙂
