It's a cute story less focused on action/magic/knighthood but more slice of lifestyle with different personalities interacting with each other.

Highly recommend reading this novel before this, it's worth it.

it's more a bunch of friends sitting around telling "no sh*t there I was" stories in a pub rather than allowing the reader to become immersed in each story but it's not bad. There's a mundane feel to it. Very slice-of-life and not much action or moments that evoke fear, though there are lots of supernatural elements like ghosts and such. If you read this looking for thrills and frights and lots of gore then this is not the story for you. It's really closer to 3 for me because the stories didn't move me, but I feel the need to counter all the 1s, which this does not deserve. I'll review it again later once I read further. <<less
