The story is really interesting so far and the plot is quite fun! It's sorta hard to MTL sadly, but the translator has done a really good job with the story!

the scene from ch. 20 broke any expectations of romance: MC is tied up and about to be r*ped by a bad guy in front of his cronies, MC calls out for help from ml, ML comes and DOES NOT FREE HIM; instead ML r*pes MC while the bad guys are made to watch... But that's not all, then the MC apologizes to ML for asking for help

This is not a... bad story. The translation is good and the characters seem fine, even the plot by itself is a neat idea. It's just that... somehow, it's so hard to read? The dialogue is boring and choppy and the overall narrative in between doesn't flow well. I just can't keep going :/

This was an enjoyable little story. It was fun to see such a mix of demonic creatures from all sorts of mythologies involved.

The characters were nicely developed. I liked that the ML was a little bossy (cough, REALLY bossy in one scene) but he helped the MC recover some self-esteem by his matter-of-fact insistence on the MCs worth and goodness.

The side characters weren't obtrusive but interesting enough to flesh out the story (although Capella needs to get a life).

This was a fun, easy read (thank you translator for your good... more>> work!) and worth a second go through. <<less
