The premise so far is interesting, but it suffers from the same issue that many light novels do, which is that the MC is spineless and lets his female subordinates walk all over him. I'm aware that gender power imbalance = comedy in Japan, but reading it all I can see is a maid that steals from the MC, undermines his authority as the feudal lord, and generally disrespects him. There are times this can work, but the way its executed here I just annoying.

Author Kitatu brings us a world of a chastity reversal from the perspective of a frontier OP low standing aristocrat. This is truly a hidden gem that takes the comedy in a well designed cliché story, with its twists and turns of a struggling aristocrat. Japanese light novels on the topic of chastity reversals (no s*x involved) are not very common on Novelupdates, and this story goes smoothly. Bring up your candies with you when you read this story and suck up your sweet in fear of the dominating environment.... more>> The main character actually has many good ideas. How will the the protagonist survive from these half-imaginative threats and lack of recognition and avoid getting pinched by those who control his life? The atmosphere is sweet and cute. Striving for peaceful conclusion might lead you to greatness in another world, maybe? Including in the cliche : money making invention, princess and duke daughter love interest and school life. The cliche are rather on the fast side, reminds me of I'm the evil lord of an intergalactic empire a little.

The translation is well done, the words are natural and cohesive. Truly a good book to pick up for chastity reversal light novel fans. <<less

Terrible, absolutely awful...

This is by one of the worst MC I've evee seen. He is completely and utterly spineless. Unless you have absolutely nothing else to read then skip this, it's not worth it.

This is absolute steaming-pile of dysentery-fueled rectal discharge.

"Weak" doesn't refer to the MC's power levels or status or whatever, it refers to how much of a spineless simp he is, getting pushed around by his f*ckin' MAID the same way he was pushed around by his Black Company bosses back when he was a wage-serf in GLORIOUS NIPPON.

I'm having the slightest suspicion that the Translation Team has a fetish for simp-MCs, given their choice of story matter.
