Imagine a 30 year old disillusioned office worker (male) being forcibly placed into the body of a grade school magical girl, in a world where both magical girls and monsters operate more like grunt workers in pretty shitty companies, and you will get this.

Throw out any belief that this will be a power level fantasy, or have anything even remotely related to action. Its a slice of life through and through, of two girls (who happen to be magical girls) going through the various phases of their lives.

The monsters don't do anything, except pretend to try and terrorize the people (the magical girls all can stomp them easily, let alone the MC) and the interactions between the MC and them are treated as comedy segments akin to the average bank robber meeting Batman but with superman's physique

Honestly there isn't much (if any) plot progression aside from the introductory worldview, or character development aside from the MC and her fellow magical girl who works with her, but I do enjoy the MC's interactions with the monsters and other people in the world quite a fair bit, would honestly recommend to give it a try if you want something lighthearted to read. <<less
