As the only male cub of this generation of the Alhandra family, Wei’an, who is showered with affection, actually has a secret.

It's interesting story. Author for sure made efforts to do world building.

Did you ever think why in zerg stories males always beat females? Yes, it's usually explained males being spoiled, and yeah it works. But how come is almost all males so aggressive? How come aggressive behaviour approved so much that it seems as males should beat females? And females should accept it? How come it's basically norm? How come someone as weak and supposedly sheltered always end up as violent and not naive and lazy? So this story go... more>> beyond narrative 'those males just spoiled and no one bothered teach them proper behaviour'.

Males here not oh so nice but they feel more alive and complicated than usually in zergs stories. They have more depth to them, they all have different characters and proper place in their race with responsibilities... And consequences.

And no, they not abusing females as norm because of consequences. Or more like not out of anger or selfishness. It's more complicated reasons, where point is for females not to feel emotional connection to them outside their instincts. Basically roots of that problem are females strong instincts and consequences of their power that males face. It's twisted way of allowing their consorts and female children to stay alive.

So that reasoning didn't made all males white and fluffy, but it gives good explanations why such behaviour is norm.

And yeah, thanks to Weian that knot was untangle.

As for story itself it's childcare with Weian being baby almost all of story. Only in last chapter it slightly written how he is as grown up and who is his love interest.

It's Chu Yi. Not sure if I written his name right as I mtled. Chu Yi will appear somewhere ~ 40 ch. Don't remember exactly but they can count as childhood sweethearts I guess. They have if I not mistaken 3 years difference with Chu Yi being older. And met when Weian was 3-4 years and Chu Yi ~7 y.o. Kid if I understood correctly was part of laboratory experiments of race that zergs at war.

Also good point that in world building zergs race is in contact with others racers, and not just that one race that at war with unknown someone.

So if enjoy childcare stories with proper world building, I recommend this one. <<less

I really love this novel, reading this is a good way to de-stress for me lol.

I like how this author created reasons for the complexities and power dynamics of the zerg race commonly seen in danmei.

Like it has always been a mystery for me why in those other zerg novels the Females would willingly bow to those arrogant, brutal and self centred males even though those authors clearly or subtly stated how those Females hated the Males (this is usually the ML but then! A male so different from other... more>> male came and poof everyone falls in love!)

What, just because they're rare? They have those "Male protection Association"? Or something? Just because they can help reproduce?

C'mon, they're in the interstellar age, they can replicate their genes to make their minnie-me!!

Or do they really hold any power besides being male and rare?

This novel tackled just that. I love it.

I have read a lot of zerg danmei before and it became a hyperfixation or some sort for me before so I can say I've read a lot and knows a lot of this particular category.

And when I say most zerg danmei Male MC is mostly the same you'd really be surprise.

That's why besides being fluffy and wholesome and cute this novel is, it's also one of the most interesting novels I've read. It told us about the responsibilities, the power, importance, advantage, and symbol the males of the zergs in this world holds.

I like the traditional way of writing zerg danmei novels, but this novel is just different and it really opened my eyes. <<less

So far, I really like this novel. While 18 chapters is too early to really form a definite opinion on this series, I personally would recommend for people to take their time to read this if they want to destress.

Cute, so cute. Tooth-rotting family fluff. I would be content if this series went on forever just reading about Wei'an and his family.

Right now, the MC (Wei'an) is a cute little 16 month old child. So, no romance yet. This novel is so cute and heartwarming that I won't even mind... more>> if romance never develops.

The part where he's supposedly a transmigrated individual isn't really too emphasized. It's mentioned a couple times, but honestly, it doesn't matter so far. <<less

I'm really in the mood to read seme protag zerg stories, and it's a good thing that I found this hidden gem. It's also fun to read.

Our MC baby is so cute and heartwarming. I just find myself smiling while reading his different attics. Love the bond with his friends and families.

The novel focuses more in childcare so if you want to read zerg romance, well, you need to wait until chapter 118 (it's more like an extra chapter though). MC's partner is already expected so I won't spoil.

I finished this and finished the author's other zerg novel. I love the world building. At least the dynamics are clear. This one in particular is a child rearing story so I loved it even more.

The author paced the novel well, though the ending is somewhat lackluster.

It offers different perspective of the zerg troupe, and I must say I like it.

My god this was so cute, wholesome and heartwarming. I loved the bond between the family members and how adorable and pure our baby MC was. I liked that he was an actual child as opposed to an adult in a baby’s body because his innocence and kindness was so genuine. I enjoyed watching him and his peers grow up surrounded by the love and protection of their elders and I appreciated the fact that though the MC had great powers they never forced him to save the world. Instead,... more>> they nurtured him carefully and tried to give him a carefree childhood and in return he chose to repay them by healing people. I read most of this at work and ended up super embarrassed because I couldn’t stop myself from crying. I wasn’t expecting this story to get me in the feels. This is the first story that made me really admire the zerg because it’s one of the few stories that depicts them as tenacious, heroic and possessing strong communal values; and shows how both male and female zergs work together to better their society. I wished more novels took this approach when using the zerg and abo settings because at a certain point I get so bored of seeing how oppressive these societies are and sometimes for no legitimate reason. <<less

I've subscribed to the translators Kofi to read the advance chapters and all I can say that the zergs are really so united, protective and female zergs are so devoted and male zergs are so selfless!!!!!

It seems very contradictory at the beginning but the more you read the more it makes sense and the world is becoming more and more wide and you will also vaguely know whats happening

I was really very touched by this race, I really hope that all became better for them with the appearance of Wei'an <<less

It's my first commenting in any stories even after reading a lot of novels for so long BUT I just can't help it! The story is sooo good. It is very heartwarming and cuteee. Honestly, I am a sucker for childcare/child MC and amongst I read, this is definitely top tier!!

Huge props to the translator too, it’s super well done and makes the read even better!

This is Unusual Zerg Novel. Absolutely Different from many Zerg Novel I have ever read ever!!!

Romance? What romance? They're still toddlers to this day. The ML? I have so many guess...

The Biggest Suspect of the ML is Chu Yi. The 'newly' appeared Female Zerg who also a Mixed races.

Unless it was Cen Wei, the one who helped to hatch by MC. But probably not him because he seem to be a Relative to MC.

Doubtful it was Shang Yan because he doesn't appear as much as his brother now. But still could be because he's non Relative like Chu Yi.

But don't read it for romance. Though I think you won't even need or bother to think of romance like me anymore. Because now I just want the Whole Family to Live longer and healthier and get their Happily Ever After with our MC!!!

It's also one of Rare Zerg novel because it mentioned other Races beside Zerg and Human. It even still have War again such annoying race who tried to exploit them!!!

Our MC seems Omnipotent... But is he really? That's what everyone worried about... Even me.
