This is one of the best korean novel that I've read so far.

I really hate the husband.

However I love the MC, she gives no sh*t about the ML and goes forward with her plans. I love how smart she is and how strong will she has shown us in these first few chapters.

... more>> I can't wait to see how she will deal with the husband and the b*tch.

I hope that the ML of the novel is not the husband vecause he is disgusting! I hope the MC dont forgive him at all!! <<less

I'm really loving this story so far. MC is intelligent, well educated, and ambitious. She's very good at turning a situation around, so that the other party looks bad. Though she also isn't the type to cause issues for people without reason.

So far, I do not get the impression that she'll end up with her husband, which is wonderful. At this point (chapter 38), it looks like 4 bachelors have shown up. I have a pretty good hunch who the MC is. I suspect it's the only one who keeps... more>> up with her mentally.

Anyways, totally worth a read if you like smart motivated MCs. Also worth reading to see the original husbands increasing regret. <<less

I was in my manhwa phase. After reading the promo manhwa I manage to find a completed English translation of the novel. And became obsessed.

When I started reading The Stepmother Loves Harem. I had thought of some revenge play against the step daughter and tons of romance. But who would thought that this is how the story develop. Romance being the subplot.

Most romance subplot story would normally force a relationship between 2 people and half the time the ML would be an Ahole with no redeeming features and yet... more>> FL would suddenly end up with him. So even now I was surprised by how much I like the novel. The romance is so smooth that I'll be like ' I ship them' and it's been a while since I had that feeling for a couple esp of a romance subplot.

The story follows along FL using her life experience and eagerness to learn to take what she could in the scam marriage. And with how often badass FL tend to become useless when in love and having to rely on ML for everything or seeing any reason why she would like ML and prefer if she just be single. The story build a balance story that her and ML being together is fitting.

I was invested in the storyline and I would not mention much since I'm just going to state the unique aspect of the story.

One unfortunate thing is, I found the ending dragging? It took me days to complete the last few chapter. It was a fitting ending but maybe I'm used to 'them getting married and happily ever after ' and not an ending where they talk about the preparation of the wedding and afterwards. To me the story ended when she accepted the sweet proposal. Other than that I have no plans to read the side story. Which is funny since most times novels I hope for side story, it doesn't exist. And vice versa

I rate it 4/5 as the last 3 chapter really bore me. <<less

The story is so so, little slow and with some things that doesn't make sense for me, like why the baron adopted his lover and not married her? Is this sensate? Mmm for having a story to write seems yes but for me not.

I love that Eliana is intelligent and she shows it slowly, I am unsure of who will be the ML but until now there is someone to whom she is drawn to.

This story is original? Considering I feel while reading I had already read it not, I... more>> don't read korean but for sure there is something similar. This story is like the ugly duckling of: remarried empress, Sharchen should be called tr*shta 2 to help readers to remember her name.

I suggest this story: ni, I'll let it on you choosing if yes or not. <<less

this is the first time i've read a novel after a very long time and i've loved this one so much. The FL is very amusing and clever and she's very entertaining lmao idk how many times i've laughed while reading this. Literally everyone around eliana is a great man except karman AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA benny also said it herself lmao 😭 honestly I don't want her to end up with karman and I absolutely have no idea how this will progress but even if she won't end up with no one,... more>> eliana is such a strong character and she doesn't need any man for the story to be better. when FL starts to reconsider her marriage with ML (a little late for that I think) a princess appears who has been friends with ML since childhood (yep, you already know how this plot is going to go). The princess needs a political marriage with a strong country and suddenly decides to have her "friend" help her by renewing a marriage contract they had in childhood. Obviously this would imply that ML leaves FL even for a temporary period. The ML refuses but FL scolds him, telling him that he should take political benefits into more consideration than his personal feelings. Honestly, that seems s*upid to me. I mean, if FL had been told "I'll give you a title of nobility if your parents get divorced", would she have done it?

Such a smart female MC, it has been such a long time since I found one like this u.u I'm touched and excited, cause the story it's interesting, even though we have a 'its the first time I see a woman like this' kind of ML's.
