The story is a little bit interesting from the start, but there are too much time skip even until the last chapters.

There are too many forgettable side characters, the only thing I could remember is that MC has a monkey disciple, on which they never got reunited since the author was slapped to death after entering the primordial realm.

Well, everything is not unique here, it's just a copy and paste.

I was suppose to give it a 1 rating but maybe the author needs more luck to suppress the killing intent... more>> of the readers.

nope, I won't recommend this to anybody. <<less

The premise is interesting, but the author has no idea where he's going with the story. He constantly forgets what he wrote which pisses me off more than anything and the ending comes abruptly in the story: basically it's one chaper that comes out of nowhere that can be surmised in (not really a spoiler)
Spoiler

"and so the MC goes on an everlasting adventure to reach ever more stronger realms. The end."

The Spiritual Attainment of Minghe or:

The s*upid MC, who is untalented in cultivation in the ancient world with many rules which aren't explained makes things difficult for himself and is weaker and more s*upid than those who lived and cultivated less than one hundreth of the time he lived and cultivated. Featuring a bad translation.

Nothing is really explained, the MC is suddely unfeeling and ruthless and while doing seemingly smart things while making the most uncessary beginner mistakes.

Everything is written in bland third perspective way which makes you bored, waiting... more>> for the supposedly good part of the story. The bad translation and zero explanations from the author doesn't make things better. I guess the author requires you to read 2-3 books on chinese mythology while having a low enough IQ to not get frustrated by the predictable and unnecessary mistakes the MC makes.

Like unsealing a powerful treasure with powerful spirit energy fluctuation in enemy territory, even though he wasn't pressed for time and the was no restriction on taking the treasure with him while it is still sealed. For some reason he was incapable of thinking about the fact, that making a commotion would be a bad idea. I would not call myself the smartest in town, yet I could have easily predicted that. <<less

The novel start and mid was super good, really liked the story and adventure and small parts.. but things started going super downhill once we reached chapter 415. The main character was still at mid cultivation at that time then boom a super time skip over milions of years went by and he instantly got the best cultivation. The story went like this... he had 100 plans lets say and in a instant he did all that in 1 chapter so the writting was all over the place.. Hell it... more>> seemed like he just wanted to end it so he wrote a person whole life in 1 chapter.. I was super keen on the story for that I give 2 stars but the last chapters are so bad that if I paid for it I would want a refund :P and if I was in he's place I would be ashamed and never write again. <<less

Interesting novel. It explains in detail about the adventures of a former modern day human who has transmigrated into one of the first-born Chinese deities of antiquity. The events of Chinese mythology are well described from the splitting of Heaven and Earth by Pangu to the formation of planet earth, and then some more. Of course, the story somewhat deviates from the actual lore, but most of it is still preserved.
Spoiler

Unlike others, this MC is a bonafide God who slowly lets go of most of his emotions and desires, such as love and sympathy. He still supports his disciples though.

I actually love this novel. It was different from usual xinxia tr*sh

Bullied > get stronger > revenge pattern that flooded the whole genre. As one of the primordial beings. It was more focus on world building and race to become stronger.

Unfortunately, it has a rush ending for a reason I dont know. But still worth reading.

There's basically nothing I can say about this novel that hasn't already been said. I just wanted to write this to say that the story itself is very good but requires a certain level of understanding of the genre before reading, as well as some knowledge of Chinese mythology (nothing Google-sensei can't tell you).

The only disappointment, in my opinion, is the ending due to the fact that it is probably the most rushed ending in a novel I have ever read. The only good thing about the ending that I... more>> can think of is that it at least gives a somewhat conclusive finish to the story unlike a lot of novels of the genre. <<less
