This story is dumb... but its not a fun kind of dumb. Thus far its just sort've been quietly infuriating. I always hated the kind of reader who whines about a story being what it is e.g., "I'm giving this story a three because I hate harem, wah!"... Yet, I still ended up knocking a star off this story because thus far the writing seems pretty solid, but the premise seems to be the whole world saw that certain people with a certain gene are kind of strong, and thus... more>> immediately went "oh, oh spaghettios it's a new species". Better lock em' up before they wipe us out. Never mind that you apparently still have enough power to be able to lock them up. Never mind that its a gene that seems to just be floating within the general population. Never mind that regular people can still be born from two gene bearers having a kid which kind of poops on the theory of them being a new species... I mean I get this is supposed to be some kind of mystery, but honestly I have the feeling that Ajin did this concept better and I HATED Ajin so yeah yeah...I'm out. I hate to be the guy complaining about the lack of pizza in what's clearly a falafel stand but the lamb tastes iffy to me. <<less
