Don't be deceived by the start of the story, this story is one where you want the MC to die. Although the start of the story is similar to I am Gao Fushi Villan, and I became the rich second generation villain, it soon turns to brainless logic, s*upid moves, dumb claims and characters and some really questionable moves.
A list of few things that happen that make me hate this novel is below.
Spoiler

1 - He makes heroines fall in love once the protagonist of the story is defeated he discards them.
2 - He kills a lover's mother and a pregnant lady's child to disturb another hero/villain plan.
3 - The story drags on slowly (after 150) and s*upid obstacles that are pointless are put in front of him for word count.
4 - Nationalism +rasim, and pretty much copy and paste of event from other urban novels (stone gambling, class reunion, family extorting a heroines money) only he claims to be the villain but just the protagonists of other novel's names are changed to him.
5 - Everyone, including some smart heroine becomes dumb and every hero just develops a gut feeling to go against him and when he needs them all the previous grievances are forgotten.
6 - lucky encounters on top of an op system that save him and for some reason, (Plot armour tickens but he doesnt use his gifts) + protagonists do worse than him to make him seem like the better of two options.
7 - He forgets his skills at many key points so that conflict with protagonists escalate.
8 - I am not sure, but it seems at this point that he will be trading heroines that fall for him for potential alliances with the heroes.
etc...

[collapse]

If you want to read, stop before he goes to the capital (Somewhere before chapter 200) that's where the story goes downhill, but never comes back up. (2 start for the begining of the novel only, the rest is not with reading. <<less

Been reading the raws. Pretty interesting until MC starts getting all ridiculously OP. At least have some relatable flaws so he can be a more well-rounded character. The harem isn't too annoying yet at least. Looking forward to seeing how he re-educates his son. Also, where's the wedding from that throwaway family member in the beginning?

After completing "I am a rich second generation villain" and catching up with goafushuai, I started searching for similar types of novels, and I was glad I found one more. The MC is the same type as wang haoran and the harem is okay, it's quite fast paced but even though there is a urban setting it goes into the cultivation part too frequently, if your looking for a scum MC where the MC even makes the protoganist lick his feet this is for you.

Story is ok at best. If you are a massive harem lover, then you will like this. I will still choose "I am the Rich second generation villain" over this. MC don't spend enough time or gives enough effort to get the girls. The girls falls for him for simplest of reasons. The first son only appears once in a while to get reprimanded by his dad (mc). He (son) and whole Qin family is even absent at the end of the story when he gets married with over 20... more>> or so wives. MC has unknown amount of children from new wives. Originally harem members was 17, but some long forgotten and irrelevant characters shows up at the wedding. So MC just gives them rings and made them join the harem wedding as well. No snu snu moments, just says things like they enjoyed the night etc. Story should have ended at chapter 475, but author decides to milk it more with random story. There are not enough nationalism or racism though like one above commenter said. Overall score for me is 3/5 at best, and that's me being generous cause I like big harem. Only read if you have nothing better to read and want some junkfood harem novel. <<less

Critical Rating: 3
Personal Enjoyment: 4

Another urban chinese harem novel that takes advantage of the classic tropes you'll find, but this time you're the dad of the first villain mob the protagonist runs into.

What to expect?
If you read similar novels with this premise you'll find many similarities. A system is in place to aid the main lead who is the villain's father and he takes steps to overcome and break down the "halo" around the protagonist.

... more>> Using Gao Fushuai Villain as the compaison. There are several differences I like.

Main lead is transmigrated after his death, but he does not know the plot or story that surrounds the world. He just has his old memories and his knowledge of how these kind of plots work to figure out who the female leads are and how to proceed.

Spoiler

The plot point of multiple protagonists existing is brought up much earlier in this story. The kid is basically used to draw aggro and bait the other protagonists out of hiding which I found hilarious. At least, that was the plan from where I left off..

Should you read it?
If you read the comparison piece I mentioned, you probably already have an idea of what you want. This is an urban harem novel in the eyes of a "villain" stealing from the protagonist.

I've read up to Chapter 62 before I ran into the paywall. I enjoyed it enough, but most of these blend together if you read some already. <<less

So first thing I have to make a clarification as some people seem to be confused. There is a book call Damn! I became the rich second generations father (or something like that), the top negative review is based on that and not this one, this review is for another novel with a slightly different name and should not be confused.

Now as others have said it starts out great, but you should just stop at the end of the urban volume, it is a relatively satisfying ending, afterwards it basically... more>> becomes a fan fiction and the author attempting to milk the series. Even the original premise of protagonist hunting seems to be dropped and he gets nerfed. He does retain some of his power due to his powerful soul but he can't use it freely as he is undercover. <<less

I'm not going to rate it, because I haven't really read enough. However, if I were to rate what I have already read, it'd be 5/10 or so. It's pretty lackluster, and I read some pretty horrible things in the spoilers in reviews here that make me reluctant to read this novel, while the said novel isn't good enough to make me change my mind and see if it's actually not that bad.

I think I am a Gao Fushuai Villain that another review mentioned is a much better story of... more>> this kind. The protagonist of Gao Fushuai is more of a lawful neutral, while the protagonist here is more like chaotic neutral or, if we take into account the spoilers, lawful evil. I really don't like the things he will apparently do later. His personality is understandable given the backstory, but it doesn't mean it's palatable. The protagonist is pretty meh. He's more mature than the guy he replaced in some aspects (about the only good point), but also less mature in some others. He's also way too reliant on the system, and the things that come with the system are very easy to get. I don't like it.

Many other characters have some braindead moments. Like, they literally do dumb things for the plot, and it's even lampshaded. The narrator literally tells you that they act dumbly to provide the antagonist (who's the protagonist of the novel world our actual protagonist became a villain in) with plot development opportunities. It's a bit cringe, not gonna lie.

All those system mechanics feel like they're ripped off from Gao Fushuai novel, but they feel less well done. Furthermore, the characters in general are worse, blander, and less relatable or likable.

Anyway I don't think it's particularly worth reading. It's not all that bad, but if spoilers are to be trusted, it gets worse, and the review of WasteofLife who dropped the bad spoilers seems rather accurate so far. <<less
