I was a corporate worker in my late 20’s, when I woke up and found that I had time leaped to the spring of my second year of high school. At the time, there was a teacher that I had regretted not confessing to, so I confessed to her in the heat of the moment, and now we’re dating! However, the teacher is one who would make any man a good for nothing person, so I end up being spoiled by her a lot.

While secretly dating my overworked teacher (lover), a sweet school life filled with flirting awaits. A 2nd year high schooler with a 27 year old me on the inside and the teacher (lover) that I want to pamper, our everyday romantic comedy begins.

It's... different from what I expected.

We got a mature MC who somehow got back in time of his high school years. The heroine was a mature woman worked as a teacher.

What did I expect? A realistic love-story drama about two adults in a difficult environment due to their difference in status and age.

... more>> What did I get? A juvenile love story about a pair of lover who supposedly mentally mature yet acted like elementary graders.

Yes it was fluffy yadda yadda it was nothing but a story for self-inserters. The teacher who acted like 10 years old is the dream of every teenagers who yearned for unrealistic love where the girl's brain doesn't work and all the girl does is making his MC happy just like an NPC like her obsession of kissing MC, her own student whenever the chance even in her workplace the school with all the risk.

Oh I forget, this is a Cute Story where plot will make sure to protect them because teenagers don't like trouble. <<less

Basically, this novel is all about an idiot couple. One airhead girlfriend, one doting boyfriend. They're living their life full of fluffiness, not even a day was spared from their flirting scenes.

Reader please be aware that too much sugary contents might cause diabetes.

That's all. Thank you.

No.

Great idea for a romcom story - 30 year old guy in his teenage body dating his 24 year old teacher. The guy would use his mental maturity to win over the teacher; comedy (with some fluff) ensues. Reality: Teacher immediately agrees to date him day one, probably because her head has a few screws loose. MC shows no signs of being 30 years old mentally.

Just no.

So, I decided to write a review after finishing the raws. There are 170 chapter as of yet and at the bottom of the last chapter [End] was written, so there will only be extras or an afterword, if anything.

Generally: All of the Mc's actions revolve around getting to the happy end and enjoying his love life. To the MC happiness is growing old with his other wing. He is capable, calm, collected and not dense. He has no desire for fame, wealth or having multiple women. His live revolves... more>> around his love and resolving problems between him and and his love growing old together.

Beginning:

The first chapters are pure sweetness and fluffyness. You can enjoy them as you want. You will get a cute and airheaded teacher and nice flirting. They experience thing after thing and grow closer.

Middle Part:

The fluffyness decreases a bit and stone after stone will be thrown in the path of the MC. However the problems will be resolved pretty easily. One problem at the end will be more persistent, but will also be resolved.

End part:

The reason I added "Drama" to the genres. It begins between chapter 140-150 and I would use one particular event to the demarc the end part. It is:

Spoiler

Their first time together.

[collapse]

You will get close to zero fluffiness and taking a break in reading in end part will leave you with a bad aftertaste. As such I recommend stockpiling chapters and reading in one sitting.

Spoiler

You will be constantly anxious if their love will reach the good end and your heart will squeeze painfully. Don't worry, I can at least tell you: There is no love rival making things ugly. However those two will break up near the end and get together only ten years later, after the time leap.

[collapse]

For those seeking the knowledge of the result of their love:

Spoiler

Happy End, but written in an unsatisfying way. Future extras may change that.

[collapse]

You can contact me for more information. I may take some time, but I will do my utmost to answer your questions. <<less

I think the title of the series could be changed into

On My Second Year of High School, I confessed to the Teacher I like

and completely remove the Time Travel because it is only there to bait the people into reading it and admit it you all started reading because of the Time Travel bait. Now for the people yet to start reading, one would expect how the MC who is technically 30 years old, uses the time leap opportunity to fix his regret. One would normally expect the MC to... more>> use the experience and knowledge with his age to overcome the difference that exist with his teacher. While on a teenage body, a mind of an adult should play a role to logically justify the Student- Teacher relation. But instead it is just a shitshow. The time travel haven and the job of time travel is done. The MC behavior is like that of a typical shounen love comedy protagonist as if he never grew personally and was always a teenager even when he was 30. So having the time travel brings more fallacy to the story. And to make it much worse, the female teacher must have been a h**ny shota lover because they are already in a relationship like the summary of the novel suggest. Now, in the future there may be something to justify the behavior of the teacher, I dont know some s*upid reason like the MC of the past unknowingly saved her from some trouble and that act of kindness make her fall in love with MC but as of now, I refuse to believe that its a teen with a mid of a 30 year old. With almost no chemistry build up and character growth to define the progression of romance, the Time Leap aspect of the title is a huge bait and if your are expecting for something to develop around it, you are going to get disappointed.

If you are here just for the guilty pleasure to experience a taboo Student- Teacher relation and get drunk in their slice of life then congratulation. <<less

I couldnt get enough insuline for this novel fluffy-ness.

Storyline is simple, it is about guy who's back in time on his highschool.. And does something that he didnt do in previous life. That's it become sensei boyfriends. In their relationship, you can find an OVERDOSE ammount of sugar lay out almost in each chapter make you grinning and want to retort "just explode riajuu!". I hope the novel quality itself didnt change later.

The novel itself so light, fluffy, kinda like perfect blend of slice of life and romance so far,... more>> and there's no drama so far make this novel truly great to consume if you bored of isekai novel out there. 10/5 everyone could really enjoying this novel unless you have a dark heart.

Gonna edit later in future. <<less

Really good stuff.

It's a nice relaxing fluff novel.

It's not perfect, certainly.

But it makes me happy, and that's all I need from a slice of life novel anyway.

It's a good change from all those novels with complicated plots and mc's that suffer through constant life threats and plotting.

I recommend this a lot.

I literally created an account in here just so I could vent a little bit about this.

It's a novel that fulfills what the author promises. Never once did the author state that this would be a serious work, or that ... more>>
Spoiler

the time leap mechanics would be further explored

[collapse]
. His/her style of writing in itself tells us this - this is not a work intending to be inspiring or anything of the sort. It's a story that doesn't take itself seriously, thus neither should we take it seriously, at all. Therefore, I don't really feel like giving it a lower - nor higher - score.

If what you're looking for is something to read just as a means to relax and not think about anything, by all means do it, this one is a fairly good read. Full of fluff and sweetness, not a chapter passes with unresolved issues and everything goes fine. Overly fine, if you ask me.

If you're looking for something minimally thought-provoking or, even, with a story to be told, then this is not for you. This novel is like a 4-koma (generally speaking). It's like the characters and their situations are stuck in a picture and every chapter is a slightly different take on that picture.

I did catch myself grinning at some point of the first 50 chapters of it. However, in between the first and the last translated chapter (140), I just got overall uninterested in the characters, their feelings and interactions. That's perhaps because I was waiting for emotional, character and story development.

To be honest, I feel like this novel has so much wasted potential... But, once again, never once did the author present this story as something serious. He just wanted to write fluff and sweet stuff. And some people (even me, sometimes, albeit very rarely) like this sort of stuff. <<less

Story starts off good and the time leap piece is great, problem is that is the only thing about this that adds anything to story.
    1. One of my biggest issues is the MC Mental age is all over the board. 60% time he is 2nd year age, 40% of the time he is the 27yr old.

Unfortunately had he stayed 27yr old the whole time story would be much better.
    1. Creepy -BroCon that he should just tell his parents about his Sister so they parents can get her some help cause she is 100% lost reality.
    1. Each chapter is pretty much the same template of the previous chapters
        1. Some situation, they chat
        1. Teacher/Girlfriend flirts and begs for kisses
        1. MC tries to push her to work, but gives in
        1. She pouts a bit
        1. They make up and then off to next chapter.
My suggestion is read the first 30-40 chapters then skip to the last 10.

You won't really miss much except a couple more characters show up, but you can figure it out the gist of it from there.

However the last drama and ending makes zero sense.

Spoiler

So after a time loop where he knows they will break up yet for some reason doesn't fight for her this time.

The whole thing seems out of place for the whole novel.

They live for next 10 years so he can catch up to the time loop.

Then he goes and sees her and happily ever after.

There was absolutely no reason to wait 10 years.

Why didn't he just go back to her after graduating, why didn't he go back to her during university or after university.

Why did he wait another 5-6 years after college?? Makes absolutely zero sense.

Just because as he was hopping time he didn't.

So now she is 34-35 and he is 27, just going back to her a year or so after University is the only thing that makes sense to the story.

Honestly he should have just yelled at her when she tried to dump him that was just s*upid he just walked away from her at that point.

Another breather in novel, which I really like.

I guess those reviewers also stated what I want so I guess I'll just put a 1 star-- nope, jk, I can't take it. I put a 5 star for fluffiness.

And this is also for those people tired of authors that really like to prolonged the confessions.

And that's it I guess...... Have fun reading ^_^

I liked the beginning of the story but the book just started going downhill every since the amnesia mini-arc... When reading a fluffy slice of life there isn't really a need to add drama and if you do add drama it shouldn't be between the male and female lead (So something like one of them has a problem with their parents) making it so you can just casually read a fluffy romance without having annoying suspense plot lines that don't really work of will they be together or not. It... more>> just felt like the genre changed half way through, it went from a sugary slice of life where you can just enjoy the relationship with small drama (Like the teachers younger sister finding out) that is quickly resolved and we get back to fluff but then the author started trying to add drama and suspense for some reason. The first 70ish chapters of this book were a sugary fluff story, changing it mid-way to suspense and bullsh*t just makes it a very aggregating read for me. <<less

Lots of fluff and honey-like sweetness. The background story is mildly interesting but since the background to why this strange, supernatural thing happens is never explained, it somehow looses a lot of impact.

The last development before the true ending is just total bs. It's pretty rare that I read something this unrealistic. There's simply no way the two main characters would act like this in rl.

First of all: I really like this story. It's a cute slice-of-life/romcom that gives me all the good, fluffy feels I need to survive.

But I still feel like I should warn new readers about something:
Don't read this while expecting much more than that. The time-leaping is not an important aspect of the story.

Spoiler

The time-leaping gimmick is mainly used by the author to explain mc's adult "abilities" (like driving, taking care of drunk friends, etc.) and does not show too much in his personality (he doesn't seem to have any experience with relationships and women and is only slightly more mature than the other students).

Other than that it's used as a mcguffin/plot device to guide mc's decisions once in a while, but only to the degree of something like "I need to make sure her family will accept our relationship".

[collapse]

So basically: Please read it. The story is good and rather well written, the characters are likeable and the translation is good.
But don't expect it to be much more than a slice-of-life romcom story about a student (~17yo) and teacher (~24yo) couple.

(Oh and yeah, they get together really fast and without any "heart conquering"... but the story is mainly about their life as a couple anyway, so that shouldn't be a problem, right?) <<less

The story is well done and is recommended, the reason for the low rating will be written last.

For a romance slice of life story, this fits the bill and checks all the boxes. The paces and plots are great, it doesn’t feel stale or drawn out like Angel next door.

And on top of everything there’s a supernatural mystery aspect to it that makes the important moments stand out and enjoyable.

The only thing I hate is the ending. It’s so bad I’d take all the points away if I can, but... more>> that’d make the earlier part unappreciated.
Spoiler

During all of his earlier failed futures, there were none where Haruka actively tried to break up with him and stayed with him during all those futures for 10 years. And all the sudden on the best future, the one where everyone is happy, she decided to break up with him because she was limiting his choice. Girl!! You don’t choose when dating, that happens before the fact.

This was pretty entertaining as a lighthearted story with some mystery thrown in. But holy crap does the author sh*t the bed in a massive way towards the end. It is just so nonsensical that it ruins the entire story, all for the sake of creating a sad ending. If I knew how terrible the end was, I would have never bothered reading this.

It's a nice fluffy romance story, but the end is really a bit bad. It is a happy end, but reading the last part of this novel (not the last chapter), it really wasn't very satisfying or relaxing to read.

It's definitely worth a read if you are looking for a fluffy, innocent read that fulfills the expectations you should at the latest have after a couple of chapters.

As another reviewer pointed out, the novel is more or less divided into three parts, which are the fluffy romance where the relationship... more>> is established, the difficulties part, where the MC constantly has to deal with problems that might cause the relationship to fail, and finally, the dramatic part, where
Spoiler

they break up, until finally, after the ten year leap has passed, they get back together and live happily ever after

[collapse]

I would recommend, as another reviewer did, to more or less binge read the last part of this novel, or at least all the mini arcs of it, as when I did not do this (because it wasn't fully translated yet) it left me a bit anxious when I actually came to read this to/while relaxing.

I'm honestly giving this story a 3 stars because it fulfills some of the tags/genres (ie romance and school life) but it completely misses on the rest.

The comedy in this story is the overused tactic of having the MC tease the FL, MC's sister basically flirting with him and him not even knowing, and him trying to hide his relationship withe the FL. Comedy is really nice and can be really awesome in a romance story but when the same tropes are being over and f*cking over it'd start tog... more>> get really annoying. The content of the jokes are dull and its always repetitive in delivery. I don't really expect any further advances for comedy within this story or just JP novels in general.

The romance is really okay. Its not the best because it has the repeat of MC teases FL, FL pouts and does something sexy, MC does something, FL goes creamy, repeat. Its cool for a story to stick to one female character as the love interest but it's starting to feel like a harem.
Spoiler

The MC has encountered a female kouhai that traveled back in time and now shes a kid/loli, FL's sister starts to be introduced as a possible option by the MC's possible future, and his sisters been crushing on him like weirdly.

[collapse]
The romance revolves around the two main leads, which is awesome, but it starts to get irritating when the author puts out romance flags that could develop the story and solidify the MC's feelings for the FL and he proceeds to cut it down.

The plot is A really good idea. MC time travel's into the past and confesses to the teacher he's always liked but he also goes back into the future sometimes. It sucks that some of the flags either cut down or forgotten about.

The setting is really cool. We have locations that are detailed and revisited once in a while (ie the school, FL's house, MC's house, etc).

Characters are kinda nice but also 2D.

Writing style of the author is nice. The sentences make sense and the references are understandable.

Translation is really f*cking good. The translator went above and beyond for this shit. I hardly see ANY incorrect grammar, punctuation, or translation of quotes/JP terms. Super good gaming warlord. <<less
