Zhuang Han Yan was the golden branch of the marquis family, simple and gentle. She lived a harmonious life, with a loving family and kind older sister. However, on the night of her wedding, all that was waiting for her was a cup of poisonous wine delivered from her husband.

“Younger sister, you should drink quickly. Tonight is a wonderful night for the prince and I.”

Her previously “kind” older sister had schemed against Han Yan maliciously, stealing everything from her. Han Yan’s stepmother finally revealed a hypocritical face under her mask of love and Han Yan realised the man she loved was not a good man. All the happiness she had experienced had turned out to be an illusion!

She died with hatred and was reborn, returning to the age of twelve, vowing to rewrite her fate. Step by step, she was going to fight her way through the treacherous inner residence and exact revenge on the people who insulted, deceived and trampled over her.

So this is another series by 千山茶客, aka the author of The Rebirth of the Malicious Empress. I’m actually a huge fan of her works, so I read all her series. Even Zanxing, which she just completed a few months ago.

I believe this novel of one of her first serialized series. Which kinda makes sense, since compared to her other works its kinda boring and lackluster.

This series especially feel rushed, and the pacing of story be all over the place at times. Compared to her other series, the one of... more>> the biggest problem is that a lot of her characters are flat and 1 dimensional. There is pretty much zero character development. Not only that, I feel like the readers don’t learn much about the side characters other than the MC and Male Lead at all.

In terms of plot-wise, this series actually feels like a really really early draft of The Rebirth of the Malicious Empress just with characters that have different names. There was so many times I had a feeling of deja vu when I read this series, but then I’ll recall that many events that popped up in the plot happened elsewhere in a different series of hers. Overall, I was actually quite disappointed with this work. I actually wanted to rate this a 3 star, but I gave an extra star just because its by my favorite author tho. <<less

It’s a lot of clichés novel with female lead persecuted by step family and father with scummy fiancé. But I like the genre. It’s well executed though nothing jumps out. Plots seemed sometimes simple but still entertaining. The ending felt quite rushed though which is the major drawback of this novel but at the same time well formulated ending in cnovel I find are quite rare. The love story is alright. Novel is short length which is great (about 140 something chapters)

This is a good quick read for those who want a quick fix of this genre. The plot and characters are your ordinary, run-of-the mill ones prevalent in most c-novels of this genre.

The storyline only covers a few short years, with a few flashbacks and a short fast forward to the future. The focus is quite on the mundane activities, so it was quite backyard-drama centric which can get too repetitive to an extent. Their is an underlying genesis story for FL that uncovers, but there is little focus given... more>> to it. The ending doesn't feel rushed, but it is quite abrupt with the author leaving readers to just fill in the blanks after the author stated wrote this and that. There are some shadows of the author's other novels in it, but there are still some major departures that make it different enough from her other stories. Is it better than author's other stories? Not really. And I've been quite pampered by extra chapters post-finale on my recent reads, I would love to have read more in the future as well as taken a look at the alternate universe the one where she died).

FL had some significant character developments, given that she got killed at a young age and reincarnated back to her preteen days. The changes are almost to the point of being unbelievable. Most of the plot is uncovered thru FL's critical thinking and processing, which makes me think author really made the FL into such an amazing sharp character. The story mostly centered on her and the author gave her super mental skills to cope with it. ML also had an uncovered background story, but his character development leaves a lot to be desired. The change in him when

was quite a deviation of his character for me, to an extent I understand how it is needed to progress the main story, but it really puts an unexpected damper on the relationship development of the two character.

Which brings me to the romance aspect of the story. It's a very slow burn to the point that I was surprised there even was flame, lol. With how little the MCs communicate with each other, it really amazes me how much they have grown to trust and understand each other in such a short span of time, so much that they were able to weather the plot twist I mentioned in the ML's character development just through the sole sleuthing and prying of FL. Such a capable character. Also, there is an

eight-year age difference in between them, granted one can consider it a six year gap if you consider her mental development of a 15-year-old before she reincarnated,

which can make it a weird, a little awkward relationship to begin with.

This is quite a bland, overused story that maybe can barely satisfy a reader's need quick fix. I would recommend it because it is short enough for a quick read. Other than that, it is quite lacking in other departments, so I just gave it a barely passing mark. <<less

The Reborn Noble Girl is Hard to Find is a novel that was later adapted into the cdrama The Glory.

Initially, I watched a few episodes of The Glory that were airing. Then because I was curious about the storyline, I read the novel The Reborn Noble Girl is Hard to Find. I thought I'd read it slowly but I continued until the story ended.

Just confirm for the drachin audience of The Glory that the storyline of the film and the novel The Reborn Noble Girl is Hard to Find are... more>> not the same! This surprised me and other readers. Aside from the names of the main characters and some similarities in characters, the storyline of the novel and series is 90 degrees different.

Most likely because there is a change in the reincarnation storyline that Chinese film censorship are not allowed. Changes to the series are also needed to increase the interest and curiosity of novel readers who already know the storyline in the book.

Is The Reborn novel Noble Girl is Hard to Find good? My answer is yes.

You can find in Is The Reborn novel Noble Girl is Hard to Find is:

1. The Reincarnated female protagonist.

2. Drama and politics of the aristocratic family.

3. Father and concubine who are both evil. The mother does not live like in a series. In the novel, the main character has a younger brother.

4. The main male lead is a prince and good at war. Has a good relationship with the Emperor and has a deadly disease in his body.

5. Female protagonist has several admirers and princes from other countries.

6. The Age of the Female Main Character is several years different from the Male Main Character. This causes early relationships to be protective of children.

7. The revenge part will be much different from the one in the series. The novel is more complex as it concerns the politics of the royal princes as well.

8. Happy Ending to the novel!

Favorite character? Our Male Lead/ML. Prince Fu Yunxi :) <<less

I would rather give it a solid 3.5, but the story developed really well.

Typical reincarnated MC in the ancient cn novels. At some point of novel, it feels rushed. But the plot is predictable, if u are swimming in Chinese novels.

Male lead is admirable, also the supporting leads had good characterisation.

In The Reborn Noble Girl is Hard to Find, Zhuan Han Yan's dream marriage becomes a nightmare when her husband allows her stepsister to facilitate her mu*der. Upon rebirth, Han Yan sets out to get her revenge. However, when she meets the Emperor's brother, Fu Yun Xi, Han Yan has to reevaluate if revenge is the only thing that gives her life meaning.

This is the novelized version of the Chinese drama, The Glory, but, with only the little bit I've seen of the show (YouTube supercuts), I can tell it... more>> only follows the most basic plot of the story. Han Yan is way too young for anyone to properly enjoy this as a romance, and Qian Shan Cha Ke STILL can't account for the correct amount of years passing in a time jump. And don't get me started about the several characters we're introduced to that just go missing after a point.

This novel is entirely unnecessary to your enjoyment of the show. I'm actually inclined to say that this is probably a nicer version of The Rebirth of an Ill-Fated Concubine. It does, however, give me more of a reason to finally go and read The Marriage of the Di Daughter (The Double).

If you like Rebirth, Revenge, and people just being nice because they can, then this one is for you. <<less

I just re-read this today because someone was asking me about how it was like the drama. I haven’t seen the show yet but from what I was told, the answer would be “not at all.”

Typical rebirth in ancient times, Female pulls herself up out of “I was too trusting, how did I end up like this?” and changes her family and marriage partner situation. To be clear, 98 % of all women in this novel are skanks, from servants to queens, and I was hoping for a complete turnaround... more>> where she leaves everything behind for her maiden family in the martial arts world. After a very rushed ending, she did not. Words written were readable and there was an actual plot so I gave it a 3 out of 5 stars. <<less

I'm really glad I read this. It's nothing like the author's other novels IMO. Yes, there is rebirth and scheming, but the characters are completely different from their personalities to their motivation.

Also, I really loved the male lead. Wish the novel had gone on a little longer as it wrapped up rather quickly/seemed rushed. Would've liked more OTP moments too, but that's a small critique. 4.5 stars

I found the book to be okish, though it shows it's one of her initial works, as the story has plenty of plotholes, some not explained, some overlooked completly (loose ends) and some... that leave you head scratching. She dragged a lot the story in the beginning, just to rush everything in the las 40 chapters or so. Basically that's when you understand most of the plot and how how all unravels and ends.

The extra chapter is the actual ending, but it's messy. It starts where the "final" chapter ends,... more>> then leaps a few years into the future (they are already married), just to give some explanation from the past in the middle of the chapter, then it returns to the wedding night. At least make it chronological! :))

P.S. I tried watching The glory - but my god that's an "adaptation" only of the names, cause everything is messed up in that drama, so I dropped it. <<less
