Shi Han was lost when she was a child. She finally returned to her biological family when she was fifteen, but she found they already had another adopted daughter who was loved so much, and she was faced by her indifferent her parents and elder brothers.

It wasn’t until a car accident that she was given up by her biological mother that the seventeen-year-old Shi Han finally realized it.

“Isn’t it nice to live alone? Why do you need parents and brothers?”

She leaves the house and returns two years later with her plans in mind.

Shi Han stopped pleasing her biological parents, developed her own career, and raised a little wolf dog.

The little wolf dog is young and handsome, with a slender waist and long legs. He is good at washing and cooking, and she couldn’t be more satisfied.

Shi Han’s love life gave her double happiness. Soon her vests keep falling off – a brilliant violinist, a medical practitioner boss and her parents start regretting and beg for forgiveness.

Shi Han laughed, “Heh~”

She thought she was the one who was pretending until Shi Han saw the CEO Lu Yan who could easily influence the international economy.

Not only does he look exactly like her little wolf dog husband, but even the name was the same.

“Who is this?” Shi Han pointed to the cold-faced man in a suit in the photo.

“He does look a little like me.” Lu Yan didn’t change his face.

“…”

It's really nice to see this one picked up and translated. It's a well done example of the lost daughter coming back as superwoman and just not needing her bio family. If you like that kind of story and don't want something that drags its plot endlessly or goes off in strange pointless directions, this one might just well be a really pleasant read for you.

First up the synopsis isn't so much wrong as just not informative. This is not a spoiler since it all pops out of the first... more>> and second chapters. In the first chapter she decides to drop the family like a hot potato, a really good decision on her part. The story picks up in the second chapter when she returns home once again. Her family is truly disgusting a great plus in Real/Fake daughter stories. What's more she is back to the family out of obligation and at this point she wouldn't urinate on them if they were on fire.

There's a few flaws in the story (at least I think they are flaws) that are common to this genre. There is the giant misunderstanding that anyone who is actually conscious should be able to see through. There are bizarre hidden villains, the family has a density that puts osmium to shame. While normally these can be deal breakers they are handled adequately so they don't hurt the story too much and there are enough fun scenes to move things along.

Bottom line a pretty nice read, that starts, has an interesting middle and finishes well. <<less

It's a decent story, there are parts that I didn't like but overall a good face-slapping story. I really love that there is an explanation AND a consequence for MC being OP.

Spoiler

she was kidnapped and experimented. Although successful, there is a side effect of forgetting those important to her.

[collapse]

In this story, we are thankfully spared from experiencing MC being abused by her biological family and immediately started with MC accepting the fact that she has no place at that family and walking out. MC didn't necessarily thought of revenge but seeing opportunity, she does.

Though, I would say I find the way author handled the men side of the family as bit cheaply, but I associate it with author yearning for fatherly and brotherly love herself. So okay. It's not like she's patriarchal as she did for an arc dedicated to girl empowerment.

Tho, the part that I love the most

Spoiler

They took the cliche father spoils child of first's love and made it instead the mother. And I laugh so hard that they even mention the other cliches "illegitimate".

it’s a 2.5. It was an ok story.

The FL was quite annoying. Very smart but reacting dumb, very cold but can’t cut ties with people abusing her aka her family, like the ML but react in a way that makes the ML misunderstand. I honest couldn’t finish the story. ML had no appeal. The story had potential but is poorly executed.

Pretty nice read if you’re into a strong MC. Some parts do seem a little rushed, especially near the end, but its good if you just want a simple face slapping kind of book to binge read on the side. My only complaint is that I wish we got to see more fluff between the MC and ML when his identity was finally officially exposed to her.

It also would have been nice to see more of their marriage after he was found out along with how her other identities were... more>> figured out. Just a very rushed ending :c but not that unsatisfactory. <<less
