I wish there was more. It felt like a photo, a snapshot in the aftermath of a war. A very short one... that leaves you wanting more. I'm this~ close to writing a fanfic epilogue about the (male) rabbit and the (female) soldier after retirement. Lol.

Really really cute story. Just a nice breather compared to the all the plot heavy drama I've recently been into but still has a little back story to it. I really like everything about this one shot but it I had a wish, I wish it dug deeper into the back story. But the author did really well in including a back story in the first place that's not too vague that it's insignificant, or too much that having only one chapter is too little. Basically, just read it. It's... more>> worth the minute. <<less

THE ONLY DRAWBACK IS THAT IT'S TOO SHORT. A very cute and fluffy story, with pretty reversed traditional gender roles. Recommended if you're coming from a sad novel and want to be cheered up.

This one was SO cute! Short and sweet, I ADORED the interactions between the main characters, the gender-switched expectations, and how there was more meat to the story than I thought would be there at first. I very much agree with love-cutter - "It felt like a photo, a snapshot in the aftermath of a war." - and was especially poignant because of that.

Ahhh, soo cuteee. I try to imagine the rabbit's appearance, he must be adorable. Although the story's description was close to tragedy, don't worry because the story took place after the war ended and the process about how she lost her eye was only mentioned as passing.

I've reread this a few times before because of how enjoyable the novel is. Well, it's a quick read and the story is worth it too so it isn't quite that surprising. This is a light read that is just so so so adorable. The plot is amazing too because it doesn't get too repetitive, heavy or bland while reading (of course, ignore that it's just a one-shot).
