This novel summary and title is very misleading. Rather than its current name, it should be titled something like: "Transmigrating into my own novels to pet cats" XD. That's pretty much the whole story. It's a very laid-back kind of novel where the MC is mainly indifferent and just wants to live life as he pleases (which is with a cat around his person, for the most part.) Unfortunately, I'm... more>> not a cat-lover, and I don't really like the passivity of the MC (who transmigrated for no reason -- he pretty much just sticks to the ML constantly, not really intending to do anything but watch.) To make things a little clearer, here's a brief summary...

Summary: The MC is an author that is popular for writing satisfying face-slapping novels with horrible endings. After finishing his most recent work, the hatred on his person suddenly broke world boundaries, and he was forced to transmigrate into his works to witness the chaos that he had caused. This would have been a rather interesting premise (you know, fighting against fate for a better ending). However, from the very beginning, the System told him that he couldn't do anything to change the end. It was very certain of this. And yet... by interacting with the ML, the MC appears to have easily changed the plot.

Thoughts: The fluff factor is not bad. It's pretty cute, and if you like cats, you'll probably find it both charming and amusing. The transmigration aspect is pretty much of non-importance, however. It's just a convenient way for the MC to world-hop. The summary states that the MC is supposed to clean up his mess, but since the System says he can't change anything, he really doesn't do anything. Causing him to be passive to the point of being boring. I suggest that you just ignore the transmigration plot and enjoy the fluffy aspects of the novel XD. This is my second time reading this, and though I was better prepared, I still ended up getting led along by my expectations. The first time I read this, I made it c8. Now, it's further at c24. Maybe, with this more in-depth review, I can better prepare myself during the 3rd read XD.

Although I didn't get far along, since it's my second read, I decided to give this an official rating. For the time being, although I see some of the novels good points, for the most part, my impression is pretty bad. The characters, in my eyes, are too flat and boring. The pacing is too slow, and there's a serious lack of tension. If the summary had revealed all of this, I think I might have thought better. But since I was mislead to think that this novel would be like the other QT novels (where the MC is constantly struggling) I ended up all the more disappointed. Hence... the low rating. <<less

Loved how everything tie together in the end. The storytelling, the plot, the character building and growth, everything was nearly perfect! 100/10 would read again!!

Been with this story from the start. When I got into med school I had to drop this for awhile. Im glad I got back to it. I love it. Quiqui is so lovely. First and last arc definitely made me cry. Mostly fluff. MC is okay, it was the ML that made me so sticky for this novel.

The plot is really cool. Ending made it really blend together. Translation is flawless too.

the MC is kinda mary sue. The ML is outrageously cute and sells meng constantly towards the cat s*ave MC.

also whenever the MC says qiuqiu be good, the fluffiness just explodes I tell you.

but on the other hand, if you aren't a fan of the author's other stories like the king's game, then you wouldn't like this either.

the author's stories are all very similar in that they are only fluff and the same kind of fluff too, like all of them are the airy cotton candy kind where there isn't much substance in it. The relationship just kinda happens and the relationships don't really develop.

if you are a cat lover and don't mind brainless fluff, give it a try.

Novel and its plot is good.I loved the first arc the most. But after that its was fluff fluff fluff.I dropped this in the third arc because it was plain. But I still gave this 5 star because I like the story very much, especially the 1arc, I cried so hard after reading that. Guys if you like to read world hopping + BL fluff you would love it, go for it

Okay, this is such a cute story! My only—extremely minor—issue with it is that this is really just a slice of life romance? So it can drag a little bit at times. I’m serious, even though Gu Yan transmigrated to all these worlds with the intent to save them from his own terrible endings, the main plot is just him and Qiuqiu finding each other and having a life together, which is just so adorable. I'm glad it's Wonderful novel with Wonderful Ending!

This novel also has different taste than many other QT novel.

First, the MC surprisingly pretty calm person (that's why I put the tag). His thought surprisingly pretty simple. He handle the situation he's in as calm as he can. Though he does have mild facial paralysis and not Expressionless!

Second, ML while being Possessive and Yandere, he's absolutely such a good boy!!!! He's obedient when MC told him to be Good Boy. Of course he would go dark if MC get hurt! But he... more>> would always listen to MC and always prefer MC to be happy. Truly Good Boy!!! ML is the most Tender toward MC. And also very Clingy. But MC loves all his personality anyway. Both ML and MC indulged each other. Very Good ML!!!

Third, the plots or at least the flow of the story. Half of the story is just Fluff between MC and ML. The other 1/4 is some events, and then the rest is like Adventures but with Slice of Life feels. The novel is pretty light. But that's why the ending of the first arc going to shock you.

If you expect Big Spectacular Awesome moments, this novel is not for you! This novel is light and simple. MC's missions is just not to die and don't let the bad ending of his novel happen. The rest, he's just enjoying life with ML while still paying attention to the novel world but with no tension. No face slapping. Just Fluff, Romance, Cuteness, and Emotional moments. Yes, I do Love this Novel if that's not obvious.

PS: I forgot to say this novel is actually pretty hot. Sure it censored, but it's still Pretty Hot!!! I'm surprised it's not tagged as Yaoi. <<less

Like what almost everyone said here, this story is for people that are cat lovers on vacation where the plot is just rubbing on fluff (the "fluff" between the CP is barely there).

To be honest, I didn't really expect much but I nearly lost it with the one liners from the MC... The ML was literally building skyscrapers from trauma but all he got were two one liners!!! This story leans more towards plot what is plot I give you fluff, basically the main CP are head over heals for eachother in every single world so far there's no struggle or anything, and if you were expecting one ML is The all powerful God who's very biased towards MC, in short the story is mostly just MC coaxing and accepting the ML and then smut and so the cycle repeats overall 4, 2/5

This was a pretty good read. I just wish that there was a little drama/angst because each arc just got boring. Like where are the real villains/white lotuses? A little bit of drama would have been good, but it's not a bad story at all. I like the whole cat concept.

A story that only happened because of the collective anger of MC fans is really a funny start.
I really like this story, it made me cry in two finals. Imagine, me at dawn crying like a baby kkkk
She focuses a lot on MC and ML meeting again in the worlds, always with the mission of preventing the destruction of the world (Usually caused by ML), I find everything in this novel so smooth, especially the relationship MC and ML, just as ML ends up taking forward to the other worlds your fear of losing the MC.
Anyway, being an author who likes tragic endings is difficult nowadays kk :)

If you are looking for fluff with not much plot then read this.

Arc 1 if good but it goes downhill after a few arcs as there is not much focus with developing the characters but more on FLUFF and Cuteness of CAT

This story is pure fluff and cats. So much cats.

Though Arc 1 is kinda iffy to me, the story does get better in arc 2 and especially arc 3. I personally had to skip the ending of arc 1, but it was definitely worth it to read on.

So if you're looking for serious plot and action, this story isn't for you. It does however have heart-melting super sweet fluff and cute and floofy cats, so if you like this then definitely give this story a read.

OMG!!! After I finished ch.30 I cried so much. I thought it will be Happy Ending, imagine my reaction when Elliot have gone the that house to wait for Gu Yan and will continue to do it untill he die. My tear turn to river now.

The protagonist is adorable, but the male lead is even more lovable.

The first arc was a heartbreaking, tear jerking one and I'm so thankful that the other arcs aren't.

If you're a cat lover or a fluff lover in general, this is for you.
