The NPC in the Abusive Novel is Slacking Off [Quick Transmigration]

There is a genre of literature in this world called “abusive literature,” which takes pleasure in torturing the protagonist, who suffers so much they barely remain human. They often appear in the story as pristine and pure, like a clear breeze under a bright moon, but leave in a shattered and disheveled state. All the other characters in these stories are NPCs, born solely to torment the protagonist. Once their torment is done, they are stabbed to death by the now maddened or deranged protagonist, and that’s their exit.

“The so-called pleasure is to gradually grind down beautiful characters, breaking their pride, making them dark and muddied, and then presenting them to the readers.” — A certain author of abusive novels.

In response, the NPC actors from the Transmigration Bureau exclaimed: “What a lunatic!”

Looking at the censored mosaic-covered script in their hands, they showed the expression of the old man looking at his phone on the subway(1) and decided to slack off and do the absolute minimum.

World 1: A desperate academic prodigy vs. a degenerate rich second-generation heir with peculiar fetishes.

System: “You are a degenerate heir with peculiar fetishes, exceptionally professional at playing the ‘master.’ You will sign a contract with the protagonist, tormenting him physically and mentally within the contract’s scope until he is completely corrupted and you both perish together.”

The Degenerate Heir: “My fetishes are peculiar, and I’m exceptionally ‘professional,’ am I right?”

He looked at the beautiful academic prodigy at the door, whose face was ashen: “Uh, for today, how about we set a safe word?”

The System: “?”

— That’s what you mean by being professional?

I love this! I mtl'ed a bunch of chapters and am eagerly awaiting the translated ones so I can reread them. This is amazing!

Each world has its own couple, the only constant character is the system. The system is an ab*se system whose job it is to bind to a host and have them ab*se important characters in ways canonically to novels assigned by his boss, but he keeps getting barely passing scores, because his hosts that his boss selected are slacking off! What's funny is that gradually the system... more>> also feels reluctant to bully people, and just accepts its life that somehow every task ends up with a love story between host and ab*se victim, lol.

The first arc was amazing, as described in the summary. I think the next arc was a zerg world with a host transmigrated into zerg prince that gets caught as a secret softie almost immediately by ML, lol. Then a cat veterinarian is transmigrated into a cat abusing villain, then we switch from transmigration to timetravel, with a s*um gong emperor going back to give hated ML an extra kick (this one was hilarious honestly), and then a poor emperor who was reincarnated as a modern sickly student going back to fix his mistakes in ruling. Then the next arc is the highschool arc, with MC going back in time to his highschool days to avoid marrying ML (lol). I took a break reading here, but each arc is so unique and the characters are a breath of fresh air compared to other novels that only have an endless array of iceberg gongs. They are very fleshed out!

Also, oh my gosh, the chemistry. The couples always have this dom/sub undertone between them, it is sooo... !! MC is gong! And shou is strong and enduring, a character who could stoically withstand the canon novel's ab*se and then rise above those circumstances, but who warily melts to MC's unexpected kindness. I especially like that most of the arcs start with ML being terrified of MC, and the misunderstanding isn't resolved right away. MC has to earn their trust. <<less

Well kinda similar to the last one, starts off strong, then became abit sloppy towards the end. The stories lost it's touch I find myself not as excited as earlier stories.

MC and ML in the stories all follow the same trend, they all eventually fall in love with each other.

Whether MC saves ML, Mis understandings resolves, redoing regrets from previous life. Everyone leads to HE

There's almost small stories of what if time lines that also have HE endings. I don't really feel the ab*se because all the ab*se already happened... more>> in the first time line. We are ushered into the 2nd life with HE endings. Full of care, love and fluff.

It's funny how the system interact with Hosts and eventually it grew and learn alot, then he also has his own story and gets a Good Ending.

We basically watch how MC turns ML's life around in 10 worlds, fall in love and everyone be happy. <<less
