Wu Siyuan is a tasker, bound to a self-proclaimed Cannon Fodder Supporting Actor System. His task is to be the Matchmaker Tool. They must promote and stimulate the romance development of the protagonists. The better he can promote the Protagonists’ romance, the better his reward would be!

Wu Siyuan said, “Fine. I’ll be the Godly assist.”

***

Later, when the System looks at the dazzling F- at its Host’s task grade, then looking at the unrecognizable state of the CP’s romance, it finally realizes, “What kind of Godly assist have you offered?!”

Translator here.

Just a warning, The Protagonist has no CP (no romance), but the world background in every arc is Shounen-ai.

It's a pure Quick Transmigration. Don't expect any high conspiracy about malicious System or Lord God, etc, because this novel is an easy read. The purpose is just to present a series of Quick Transmigration stories, and how the MC abuse works hard to help the Original Protagonists (Gong and Shou) to be together as soon as possible.

... more>> I think the most memorable point about this novel is the MC's quote: "Scumbags needed to be put together in a group, to avoid the chance of harming others. Let them taste the fruit of marriage as soon as possible!"

The MC is neither a well-rounded genius nor an OP one. He's also not the cold and indifferent Male God. He's rather cunning, truly the depiction of a Green tea bun with the smell of Lotus. Appears to be harmless but scheming on others behind their back.

In conclusion, this novel has no heavy plot. It gives the readers the satisfaction of counter-scheming and letting one Scumbag face another Scumbag instead.

It's an easy and amusing read. <<less

As listed in the tags above, shounen-ai is only a subplot in this novel. All the worlds our MC enters are danmei worlds, but that's as far as it goes in how it relates to the said tag. Wen Siyuan does not gain a love interest throughout his journey, whether in his world-hopping or as he returns to his original world. But DEFINITELY don't let that turn you off from reading this story!

All-in-all, this was a very satisfying and enjoyable read. The way that Siyuan gets the original protagonists together... more>> and gives them their not-so-happily-ever-after was inspired! I don't think there was ever a moment I felt bored while mtl'ing this story, actually. Even when not focusing on world-plot/original protagonists-related events, Siyuan's experiences as he traverses through different worlds and interacts with different side characters were charming enough on their own to keep my interest piqued. The story arcs were also the perfect length imo.

Finally, the ending of the novel was REALLY, REALLY satisfying to me. It's one I think I will remember fondly for quite some time. Overall, I rate this 5 stars. <<less

The world background is that of Danmei/bl. But protagonist doesn't have a romantic partner in any world.

It was a little refreshing. Though, sometimes I wish he has a cp with the character I ship.

Like, roommate from arc 1 and the new pope, former red coat (?) in last arc.

... more>> The first arc and last arc is the most satisfying in my opinion. But I also like entertainment industry arc. It would be better if there weren't dog relatives.

The two cultivation world's were funny tho. The first one wanted to be salted fish. The second one is working hard. Only to gave up cultivation for the scum in the original!

Well, the ancient china arc was a little boring in my opinion. But it's not bad.

Be it the world building or the system, author didn't went deep into these.

This is a breezy ride and healing for those suffering from tradegy and dog blood.

You don't need to have too much focus and just be brainless. And don't need to feel sorry for original gong and shou because they rightfully deserve what happened to them.

I binge read this in two days. I have to say I'm satisfied and the only flaw I see is, author didn't went too deep into the world's.

Remember, this isn't the revenge focus. But, you don't need to worry.

You will be satisfied MC pushing two scums toward each other that, they can't harm others.

MC wants to be salt fish but he can't be since... The system is a silly white sweet cutie. Too bad we can't see it often.

Lord god is so funny. Speaking of Lord god, in this novel, lord god isn't the enemy like other transmigration novels.

I like it. Wish some arcs are longer though.

5/5 for me. <<less

I chanced upon this novel due to the translator here. It's worth the time. It's a no romance, the MC definitely didn't have a pairing or even just, have affection, he never even thinks about love.

What makes the tag is not the MC's sexuality, but the world (he visited to) 's setting and background.

As for the plot, well, sometimes, you accidentally, or not, read some badly written BL, with unsatisfying or even problematic Protagonists and questionable plots, that you just want to cry and complain about but are unable to,... more>> and this novel deals with that kind of unvented frustration.

Like one of the reviewers said, the interaction of MC with other characters is one of the bonus advantages. The MC is not merely focusing and lingering on the Protagonists he's supposed to counterattack, but also got along, blended very well, with the unmentioned characters in the original plot.

It's not just the MC who worked hard by himself, the amusing part is also how those other characters, along with MC, worked hard to put two Scumbags (Seme and Uke) to enter a legal marriage and make them unable to get rid of each other, so that they won't be able to cause any public harm. Just make 2 Scumbags love each other and hurt each other! <<less

!!!!! WHAT THE!!! SOOO GOOOD!! FINALLY A NO CP BUT SATISFYING SCUM ABUSE!

So am I the only one who ships the MC with the original owner of the body? (There's rlly no interaction, it's just me being delulu because the MC is so good and I love how the og owners get the memories of MC afterwards! Idc if the og owner is a shou, the MC could also be a gong, even though he's single through and through. Hahahahah)

RANT:

The only thing disgusting and nauseating about this novel is... more>> THE PROTAGONIST GONG AND SHOU of the og story.

I seriously almost puke every time they do something. I cringe and can't help but ask, "They just f*cked, how could they have these disgusting hatred with each other?"---You have to know, this is the golden rule of BL: once the shou and gong have s*x, they'd have some kind of good feelings or attraction whether they like it or not and would even lose a lot of braincells afterwards.

---BUT THAT DOESN'T EXIST HERE. Although losing braincells does, the attraction and romance doesn't exist.

It's quite unbearable and hilarious to see two people who had obviously done the most intimate thing a couple would do (papapa), are now disgustingly fighting and selfishly going against each other. That's what would happen to the "protagonists". And they both deserve it. So although it's unbearable for me to see a "gay" couple be this s*upid especially in danmei, I wouldn't think of them as gay at all. I would just brainwash myself thinking that they're just two scum men, no romance or feelings involved, it's not my beloved BL, they're just human tr*sh and it's true. So yeah, it's enjoyable. <<less

One of the rare no-cp quick transmigration you can find. Really, it's so hard to find a decent one ever.

Certainly, the amus**ent in the plot is still there. You got the comedy, MC entertaining acts and personality, as well as a certain ambition he constantly have (personally, I don't like MC who had no concrete goals and/or ambitions). And the cherry on the top of course, was the fact that this is a no-cp novel, so I don't have to worry whether the MC will goes round and round because... more>> of the supposed romance.

The original owners will also gotten their bodies back which should be well and dandy, but that exactly the problem here.

You see, MC worked his ass to achieve what his current body has, be it wealth or personal relationship (friends, etc). We, as a reader, was also pretty invested in his unyielding efforts, as the business/career stuff roughly consisted 50% of the plot other than trying to get the two protagonist to get together. Thus, it is quite disappointing/vexing that all the things MC had painstakingly build, all the bond he never previously had but now have, was given away just like that.

Now, I don't mind to much about it if the original host has a mild situation to comeback to or at least a warm family to welcome him, but man, why do you had to send back the guy that obviously will not be suitable for the current position MC had achieved for him AND no lingering effection between his family???
Spoiler

Yes, I'm talking about the second world original host, there's NO reason for the author to send him back. Heck, he even said he hates it himself. He doesn't have a business talent (even though the system did give him tutoring, obviously it wouldn't be enough because how massive MC had turned his family company become), all of his supposed family (except for one) hates him, he even has a hidden younger brother that he had just known exist! Is he really happy by getting back to his body than going back to the reincarnation cycle where most likely he'll gain a loving and supporting family instead or at the very least, cut off his connection and will go far away from his forsaken family?

[collapse]

Another thing I would like to mention is how author doesn't seem to plan for their MC to weave another bond? Simply said, MC was not loved in his original life, and also an actual cannon fodder like his any other identities. But with the other bodies he donned, the author also seemed reluctant to give him lasting relationships (obviously, I didn't mean it in a romantic way). Until, finally, I guess, MC did gain it eventually in the ending, but *sigh*, the description is scarce and very rushed. Even though MC more than deserves to be 'redeemed' like his any other 'clients'. And in addition, his misfortune has not been caused by himself. All of this cannon fodder get what they got because of their s*upid actions. Of course, s*upidity and naivety are not a sin, but compared to MC who worked his ass off and never bothers again with his family 'treasure' (AKA the protagonist in his world), self-sufficient despite being in a hospital bed (as in, literally paying the entirety of his medication BY HIMSELF with HIS hard earned money, even though he's the sick one, and with no one to accompany him) just to survive, but still ends up in a miserable state, the comparison is still there.

A little amount of satisfaction was gained as I finished reading this book. My expectation initially, was put on the system, or the main system, but the result is... yikes. All though they do have quite a 'good' relationship with MC, but again, nothing much was gained other than a drop of interactions here and there. It's dry as f*ck. Heck, even the system was not there for the most of time. I can see the author was trying to cook something (I mean it as developing their interactions closer, again, not in a romantic way), but it's just abrupt to see as they just met for like what? an hour or so in total for the entirety of the novel.

My point is, by taking away bare emotional/relationship/bond aspect of a novel, you will also lessening the enjoyability of the story.
Spoiler

Sorry for comparing, but take for example "A Professional Avenger". The MC in there pretty much doesn't have emotions, family, or any lingering regret/obsession/bond to hold on to. His only life goal in to gain financial freedom which is not a very strong and long lasting ambition to have to with his condition. He can quickly finish his mission and that's it, he just gonna enjoy himself with the money he have until he had enough. But this novel was much more entertaining to read. One of it's main reason is: The System, his long lasting partner (this is also a no-cp novel btw). Their banters and chemistry really makes the story alive despite the plot repeating formula in each arc.

[collapse]

Either way, despite of it, this novel has no problems nor cons. It's still pretty much entertaining to read (especially the first arc and western magic arc). It's gonna be easy to get bored midway through some of the arcs though, but hey, it's pretty up there for it's genre! <<less
