An Isekai protag regresses and immediately meets up with his past-harem ex-wives (of 10-15-ish years)... which seems to me like a pretty good start... and suddenly he's acting like a dense protagonist, misinterpreting signals all over the place. And then it does that s*upid "35 year old male in 20 year old's body... I will resist being attracted to a 20 year old woman because I'm oh so mature"... gimme a break. There isn't a 35 year old hetero male in a 20 year old's body out there that wouldn't melt over a 20 year old woman, especially if it was your much loved (past) spouse.

This contains some of the most dumb AF forced storyline and over-played tropes I've come across, and the 90% of the time the comedy falls flat doesn't make up for the 10% of the time it works beautifully.

I really wanted to like this story. I like a regressed, OP Isekai protag. I like the rationale around why he uses his hypnosis differently the second time around.

I really, really wanted this story to work. And sometimes it almost succeeds.

But, on balance, no. It's a fail. <<less

Don't know why the rating is so bad? It's exactly what it says it is. As long as you don't mind a harem it's pretty tame and cute?

one of his wives is 12 years older or something? And theres a girl about 8 years older than him that is recovering from brainwashing so she calls him dad, but if you've ever read a story with a dragon or mythical animal pet theres usually a daughter that ends up looking way too grown anyway smh

From context, the title should probably be something like "lives forthrightly" instead of "doesn't hold back." From the sound of it, the dude BARELY ab*sed his powers in the first run before getting cold feet, but still hasn't forgiven himself for it even though he told his wives and they were fine with it. It's not such a big personal struggle that it belongs in the title, though... His primary regression regret was indulging in peace and not being strong enough when he needed to be.

A small spoiler in regard... more>> to him being a very dense MC: it becomes obvious pretty fast that he's not just dense but not in his right mind, which is a somewhat interesting take on the hypnosis theme. Whether it's a deal-breaker for you depends on whether you're the type that hates that it doesn't make sense or the type that just hates the resulting content.

It overdoes the gags for my taste, but that's subjective. <<less

The protagonist is a guy with 35+ years old life experience yet still acts like a shy schoolboy and is attracted to teenagers.

I don't care if she was once in your harem, at least show some aversion or comment on how high schoolers look too young and innocent for him now that he lived the life of a middle-aged man. And the fact that he once had a harem FOR AT LEAST 10 YEARS and still remains romantically dense is unimaginable to me. I know this is a fantasy, but... more>> a guy like that once managed 5 to 8 girls at his side for 10 years is statistically impossible.

The action scene and lore is spectacular tho. And although a significant time is spent on harem members I still appreciate the small interactions between men. <<less
