Somewhere between 2 and 3 stars closer to two.

It's a solid translation but the writing brings it down a bit. It just wasn't good enough to bring me into the story to enjoy what the author was trying to accomplish. After you get past the problems with the writing there's the concept itself which is tropes from a few Twilight Zone episodes. They aren't bad material if you don't see them coming but the author doesn't do well surprising the reader.

The ending is probably the only part of the story... more>> that conveys genuine feeling but it's one that left me wanting to slap the MC.

Bottom Line: Coin Toss. It's going to depend on how much of this stuff you have seen and how well you see what's coming at you. <<less
