One word. DIABETES!!!! ♥ (ˆ⌣ˆԅ)

There's so much fluff and sweeteness between our CP. There's enough of everything, there's a little bit of angst, but don't fret, it's gonna be all sweet after that!

Shhhhh, *whispering*... there's a little smut as well! 🤩 Isn't that amazing?!?!?!

6 chapters short but this is absolutely a gem! A very relaxing read, once you start you can't stop! So that said, this is highly recommended! Grats to the author and the translator as well, job well done. (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵) و ~YESSS

It's a brilliant love story about childhood sweethearts. I really adore authors who can write short stories so well. It's hard to write a good plot when the story is so short, but the author managed it very beautifully. It's a slice of life, and, despite its small size, this story perfectly describes the MC and ML relationship from childhood to adulthood. There was everything: separation, reunion, a little bit of angst, and, of course, unconditional love. Strong and hot tempered but oblivious gong x weak and intelligent always crying shou.

As mentioned, this story has a lot of fluff that can be mostly found on the early chapters, it's a good short story to read to pass the time and I really like Tang Miao's character a lot.

That said, because the other half of the story is mostly Tang Miao's POV and because generally the story is short itself, It feels as if Qi Ming's love isn't as genuine as Tang Miao's. A lot of things that... more>> Qi Ming has done were mentioned mostly done off-writing, and the things he did when he disappeared for 8 years weren't explained much, only that he sent an email to Tang Miao once every year for his birthday.

The story is pretty complex and I understand that it's not an easy job to shorten it all, and it turned out pretty good for a story that was merged only to 6 chapters. So I still do recommend reading the novel. <<less

the journey of our ML and MC together is so wholesome... and it has every emotion needed to make their story shine...a son of a cop and a son of a mafia boss😭😭 and their story from childhood to adulthood 💕💕

One of the gems in this vast world of short stories and danmei 🥹
That was really short and sweet!!!
Totally read in 30-40 minutes 🥺

I really liked both our MC and ML. The definition of childhood love to the end. Conflict packed tight, super spicy moments that are sweet,

Uh I love the complexity of this short and sweet story!!!

Translators never fail in translating sweet masterpieces.🫶

So sweet. Childhood friends to lovers... although it was a bumpy road, they got their happy ending.

Tang Miao is a cry baby from a law enforcement family. Qi Ming ferocious sweetie from a criminal underground family. Unexpectedly their families are supportive. Also unexpectedly, there is a female side character, Qu Yao, who made me hope that there are more side characters like her. Cheering them on and wishing the best for them.

I love this story uncontrollably.

Tang Miao is a crybaby, and his friend Qi Ming is grumpy, just as the title implies. But Qi Ming, Mr. Grumpy, has about a thousand holes in his conscience when his Tang Shui Shui cries!

They grew up together and were pretty much inseparable until circumstances beyond their controls forcibly separated them.

When they reunite, it's almost as if it hasn't been for eight years!

Almost. But, is Tang Miao still the same?

Fortunately, Tang Miao has someone, a secretary, who understands.

The extras are great.

And I just love the depth of one of their fathers, who got it! <<less

Sweet and short! It was a lovely story with a light hearted feeling. Definitely a good reading when you're looking to enjoy something cute but have little time, despite being short, it had an interesting plot.
