After an explosion, You XiaoMo finds that he is now a probationary disciple of the TianXin sect. However, he is one with dubious potential, so just when he starts to adapt to his new circumstances, he receives a piece of bad news. If he is unable to produce the required result after half a year to become an official disciple of the TianXin sect, he would be driven out of the sect.

I love this story.

It's a long journey with characters you will want to take. Don't read a few chapters and judge it prematurely. It is worth the read.

But then it turns to boring story with a MC with no personality and a rapist ML!?

Loved this story a lot. This and MDZS are what got me into Chinese BL novels.

I gave it a 4.5 since I felt there were a lot of loose ends that could have been covered. Especially the side stories.

1. What happened to his first master and the academy? I was really hoping that we would see them meet again. Did the principal ever get to fix the school? It's like they were suddenly left in the dust as YXM went to the higher realm

2. My 2nd favorite pair, YG and FCY: what happened to them? It was so vague. YXM and LX expended so much effort on getting him out and they weren't even there at the end.

3. The You family: I kinda got the hint that they weren't as they seem and they did get introduced in the extra but the family member that I really wanted to see was Grandpa You who doted on YXM when he was alive (this was mentioned in the earlier chapters). And what's the deal with the relationship with the 3 brothers?

4. LX's dads:I would have liked some more back story on these two since they were interesting from what I've read. Especially LG

5. Some more information on the ancient You family would have been nice. Maybe more back story on the ancestor they met in the graveyard? What was their role in the ancient war? How were they related to the precious beast with four bloodlines? How did they get to earth?

One of the best CN novel I've read so far. I enjoyed the story very much, even without the BL element it would be very interesting! The humor is very nice and on the spot. You will love the MCs.

There's still a few more chapters ahead but I'm really sad. This novel is a really good way to pass time. I have to admit that Ling Xiao's attitude to You XiaoMo sometimes gets to me, but after the whole TongTian Palace incident, I was really happy about their relationship. It shows that Ling Xiao values his wife's life more than his and his attitude can mostly be blamed to his upbringing.

After I finish reading, I'm going to rush to read The Earth is Online to drown my sorrow. I really have a hard time dealing with nostalgia. Just thinking about the time I've spent reading this makes me sad and happy at the same time.

Though I wished some scenes were more dramatic. There's really little angst (compared to ones that I'm usually used to reading) even though there's 713 chapters in the main story.

It’s so good~ must read. Although there’s over 730 chapters, each chapter will have you clicking for more. The relationship dynamic between the MC and ML isn’t all bubbly and sweet at first sight and you may not like the ML at first. But, their relationship builds up and it becomes so sweet, you might get cavities and diabetes from it~!

Will probably reread this until I die or something~

Today last chapter of LMW was released and it is time to write a review. As a reader who has been sticking to it for almost three years and finally made it to the end, I say, it is a great novel. Although it is quite long, it eventually reveals the background setting of their world and the origins of MC and ML along the way, so 700+ chapters are just enough to explain all of that. It is 1 vs 1 and they are loyal to their lover; they... more>> get comfortable with each other and it leads to a more healthy relationship as the story goes on.

Our MC, You Xiao Mo or Momo is not weak. Don't judge him with a few chapters. He carries a huge golden finger and you don't have to worry about him being bullied by others, except for our ML who often teases him for his lack of IQ. Momo is not s*upid. In fact, he is quite bright and you can see that in the story, it just that he shuts down his brain department whenever he is with his hubby.

Our ML, Ling Xiao or Boss is a multi functional husband (he said so himself). Though he does not say any romantic words and often bullies his wife, his action speaks that he really values and loves Momo.

And our ML has two dads. Yes, if you see mpreg tag, it is for his parents. Momo can't get pregnant but they have contracted demon beasts who like acting cute and spoiled.

IMO, it is a great novel. The MC is likable so does the ML.

There might be people wgo rated this as 1 star but trust me this is really really good novel. Don't get affected by the ratings (even my rating) We have different tastes. Try it, it might be your type of tea.

So, I stalk this page on a daily basis! I just love the progress of this story from the start to now. Xiao Mo's progress from being a recluse to hanging out with Ling Xiao everyday, I love it all. I can't wait to see him grow into a strong mage and face down the many trials they are most likely to meet ahead. Either way, it's been a great adventure and I enjoy reading these chapters as they come.

I need several days to catch up with the newest chapter update, it was when It's still around 300. And now It's already halfway the story already.. Thanks to the TL who gives up our daily needs everyday!!!

Nevertheless this is a good novel, it's light and easy to understand. Though sometimes every new character popped up it's not confusing, because the story is basically around the protagonist and ML, You XiaoMo and Ling Xiao.

Just so you know, every ML is black-bellied. Which makes the couple interesting. It's the same for this one, Ling Xiao (Nickname : Boss) contantly bullied our sweet, hardworking Momo.

The author focuses on the plot so the 'scene' isn't so explicit though their normal interactions enough to make us the reader screaming. It's a good one, give it a try. <<less

it's adorable if a little oddly paced. Lots of build up to something only to get taken care of like, super quick?

The main character is basically a gold digger and it's hilarious? In the beginning he was totally working hard for his money but then like he ended up in the weirdest most power imbalanced sugar daddy situation where the "Sugar Baby" could possibly destroy the world if he felt like it. Like for reals.

I totes mick goats suggest it if you like high contrast couples and a sorta leisurely... more>> plot line. There have been like super important events! That the main characters are too over powered to be effected by. So, it's like nearly a slice of life with an underling plot?

I’m really glad that I chose to read this. At first I was rather hesitant but when I started reading, those 200+ chapters went by in a blink of an eye. The story leans more to the concept of cultivation and pill refinement rather then yaoi... is what I thought till about c200 or something (but not much).

The ML is cool but the MC is... sassy? A rather simple character that is way too ordinary for the ML who should be having higher standards for lovers (as in personality). But... more>> overall I can say that I was satisfied with the story so 5 stars it is. <<less

Excellent novel hehe specially for us fujoshi. There are a lot of cute and fluffy moments. MC & ML are so funny and compatible. Great translation and the novel is very descriptive. No dull moments in every chapter.. Really it's like you're always looking forward what will happen next. No worries.. Sexy scenes are there ♥
