“You don’t have any talent, so stop pretending you understand,” said the arrogant genius magician fiancé, leaving the young knighted lady fed up and determined never to marry him. I love how petty FL is to tip off a newspaper company that she ran away bc of her shitty ex fiancé and that her parents are dismissive of her concerns on the engagement, I also like how FL readily admits to ML that she couldn’t help but compare him to her ex, which leaves no room for misunderstandings. ML is understanding, respectful and sweet, a green flag all around. I just wish we also have the POV of FL’s family after they became social pariahs.
