(Tho my English is bad I still want to write a review) I'm a big fan of transmigration and rebirth novel. Seeing the high ratings of 4.2 star, I decide to give this novel a try but honestly it was a disappointing read. Both MC and ML lack personality and interaction. It's so cliche how ML just falls head over hill for MC at first sight.

Another thing is the translation (since I haven't seen anyone mention it yet). I expect a lot when I see that it was translated... more>> by Chrysanthemum Garden. They are my favorite bl site and always delivered great translation but this just ain't it. The grammars error are all over the place and some sentences doesn't even make sense. It feels like non editd mtl. <<less

Probably the biggest issue with the low ratings on this book is the misleading summary.

I walked in knowing that it was going to be pure mindless entertainment fluff (was recommended by WinterTranslates) and that's exactly what it is.

Thus, I wasn't particularly disappointed and I didn't find it that boring.

It's cute. It's fluffy.

MC is super OP where the system/world itself loves him.

ML is like the MC's pet and pure as driven snow.

No issues at all if that's what you want to read~

The description is very misleading. I originally hope for some thrilling "games" in different worlds. The concept is interesting; the zergs, the spirits etc etc. How the MC becomes their king. The first arc is very promising. I do like it with all the pampering, love and care. I think it's most probably the best arc in my opinion. Throughout the second arc however, I've a hard time to understand the plot. The translation needs extensive editing. It's very confusing. The sentences are in disarray basically don't make any sense.... more>> I can't handle the grammar mistakes. But I understand that the translator is doing this for free and it's just me being picky. I appreciate the translator's effort and hard work. It could've been better if there's an editor. If you're familiar with MTL then you should be able to understand the translation pretty easily.

I like the fluffiness. The ML is doting towards the MC. Same with other people as well. The MC is just loved by all. However, it gets very annoying because I don't get how the romance sparks (?). There's little to none communication between the main characters. Author rarely delves into MC's thoughts so maybe it's one of the reason why I feel like their relationship is a bit abrupt and rushed. The plot is kind of repetitive. I don't get how the task progress works, it just suddenly goes up. Author doesn't really explained how the MC "win the game".

All in all, it's so-so for me. <<less

Its fluffy, nice pacing, a very pure romance between the leads. You are going to love it if u are here for fluff and cute family/clan love, its light hearted and peaceful, there is faceslapping but its not the main point. Cute story with cute worlds, lighthearted and full of meng and fluff.

Uhhhhh. I don't know which one was written and published first, but the first few parts and idea is the same as "I am not Human" I read before. Hmm... the writing style is the only thing that differed. Disclaimer, I only noticed this on chapter 2. I'll have to continue reading then edit this comment.

OK. I reread "I Am Not Human" and that novel is ACTUALLY AN EXPANSION of this one. Basically it can be read separately since only a few parts will be similar. They both share the same MC heh. That's a VERY INTERESTING point.

However, I like the wholesome idea and stronger character introduction from the latter so yeah. Same characters are written, but the personalities are somewhat different. Some side characters weren't introduced properly, and I think it's because of the idea that the main side character is the system itself who issued the task on MC. If you want to read a more detailed version of the first world Huai attended in this novel, visit the one I mentioned. Lol.

The MC is set as too OP in a sense that he always have a great identity in the world. Doesn't feel like an actual 'game'. Maybe the title should be changed 🤣😭 <<less

The ratings are based on my enjoyment.

Very Different from other QT novel, This got smooth sailing of MC, pretty much no struggle or challenges and story is full of fluff..... too much fluff and sweetness.

MC has to complete 5 world before he can become the king.

1st world: Zerg..... As a start off this was really good.

2nd world: Fairy + Cultivation...... The world I had most difficulties in understanding and also my least favorite one. Idk if it was translating problem or the way author wrote but it was hella confusing. Thankfully I have read a lots of cultivation novel and is familiar with their terms so it helped me. ... more>>

Usually I gnore the flaws and submerge in sweetness, but here I couldn't do that completely. A lot of things didn't make sense at all. Like the Girl that bind MC with Magic... one moment MC was just walking outside and the next moment he get captured by the bride girl who was suppose to be in her dressing room with her maid beside her. How the hell MC ended up there.

Also MC unable to get out of the bind means that the bride girl was stronger than him..... right??or was it just for MC in distress, ML coming to saving him things.

Also was the bride girl so OP in her magic that other can't see through her illusion magic, except ML and others spirit?? What about the groom family so called OP person who was suppose to be the highest level human. Honestly if the girl illusion was so OP, couldn't she just change her face with illusion while running away, then no body would have been able to find her.

Also the final clearance, I though we would get some more detail on how or what MC did but naah, he just solve it but slashing the space shit, letting the cultivation energy spread out.

3rd world: Mafia + childhood friends..... This was very down to earth world and Probably the only world were ML was not so OP.

4th world: Mermaid + entertainment industry. Here MC is an actor and is also a mermaid with half of mythical beast bloodline.

Entertainment industry theme is no fun without some good faceslapping and good details. This doesn't have much faceslapping and also there were very few details on acting..... not much detail on story line to hook me up. I did enjoyed this world for fluff and sweetness it gave but it didn't gave spark to me as Entertainment Industry arc.

Also I saw it on one review taking about MC being mermaid had no point except letting ML touch his tail and I totally agree on this. MC as mermaid...... there really was no point except letting ML touch his tail. MC half kupeng blood makes dragon afraid of him, which can be seen as protection against dragon, the superior creature. MC yin energy, which was never revealed how or why he had, help in suppressing ML injury. While there wasn't a time where MC mermaid form can be utilized..... except when MC first enter the world and was drowning.

MC main form being Mermaid, I though we would get to see it uses but naah, it was like just an accessory to attract ML and let him touch his tail.

5th World: Machinery (Robots) + Magic. I really like this arc because of interfere of Competitor.

Honestly the Competitor guy plan really well to eliminate MC, but MC existence itself is like a cheat, making the world and rules bend to him.

Also author making MC ridiculous OP. Let remember that MC didn't have his past memory. Even if MC has Photographic memory, Knowing something and being able to do it is completely different. Even if MC has the knowledge of science with his Photographic memory, him being able to find the loopholes of the space when he never been to one or experiment on that before, is just absurd. does it made sense to you guys??

Also the Competitor power up was consider cheating..... well then what about MC who has the support of the world, the system, the rule and everything........ ain't that cheating to the Max...... but well, who cares since he's our MC.

And The final World where everything get revealed, about the game, about MC, about ML and All others and honestly this was my favorite. I like the connection it had, the past and the reason behind MC smooth sailing journey. A lot of QT lack this kind of Final Background story which connects everything and make sense, making the story ending so satisfactory.

Pros:

This got one of the sweetest, bestest and healthy romance. The relationship between MC and ML is so good, even though it lack the dept and the Characters are pretty one dimensional. I love ML that goes for consent and tries to woo their lover instead of forced papapa first and then confess. This also got some really beautiful words for me.

'To be able to wait was a very happy thing, because it meant that the person he loved still had the possibility of coming back.'

Oh no shit!! I feel like crying. Why all MLs (especially QT MLs) are not like him although I also do like domineering ML. He's such a big green flag.

I feel that other MLs (Gong party) should learn from our ML, how to woo the person they like and go for consent..... especially QT MLs that goes crazy in every next arc (Yes I am mainly talking about HDS)

Honestly everytime ML chirp, he just get me all melted. The way he act around MC, chirping...... I can't take it anymore..... I want my own Chu Chu who would chirp at me.

MC interaction with his Families are really sweet. The story doesn't only focus on MC and ML relationship. It also focus on MC and His Army of Families ready to do everything for MC.

Cons:

This honestly got potential to be a good QT novel but it seriously lack in world building. I really like the concept of Arcs and the task but the story is more focused on romance and pampering of MC, neglecting the depth of world building....... I can't help but be disappointed a bit.

Also every world was a smooth sailing for MC because of ML and MC families which kind of made the world itself pretty dull and the task kinda weak. MC really didn't have to do much to clear the game which is not fun.

Character are pretty much 1 dimensional or 2. There's no growth or development. Although sweet, they are very plain.

I also kind of felt pity for other competitors. A lot of people in comments were defending MC when the Competitor said MC was cheating and let all be honest...... Isn't MC having ML and His Family and Smooth sailing a super duper f*cking Cheating

When the other Competitor play, the whole world and rule are against them, trying their best not to let them complete the task while in MC case the rule bend for him, ML as super OP existence is there supporting him and MC easily clear the level.

Even though I get it that MC is the true ruler that's why the world and rules are making way for him and the position belong to him but isn't it pity for all the hardwork of the Competitor having to go through all the challenges a struggle only to never reach the position because the rule reserve it for someone else...... really Unfair.

Honestly I would be angry too I were the Competitor.

Overall, this novel wasn't that bad as I expected. Though it has flaws and lack world building, but the pure healthy romance, sweet relationship and fluff helped me enjoy the story till the end.

I categorised novel into 3 in general, with lots of dialogue (this is my favourite!) , with okay amount of dialogue, and with barely any dialogue. This novel is the last one. Barely any dialogue. The story probably will still be great if they don't world hopping so much but having small chapter, because that means the story is compact into short SUMMARY most of the time. Which kill any story development, kill lots of plot, kill lots of proper world building, like for example the mermaid world, I c... more>> no point he's being a mermaid beside just so the ML can touch his fish tail ~~ this is why I'm not that fond of QT if it's too short chapter. I reckon for a safe QT probably need like 200-300 long chapter to make it great story. This one not only its short 130+, each chapter length is short as well. There's just not enough room for a dialogue box I guess or any plot beside safe journey told in short summary...... However their relationship is still full of fluff ~ Lots of fluff with his family as well! I think this will be great if only the author expand the story a bit more. The ending a bit hasty as well.

Also the translation is not good. Not because grammar but a lot of the translation is wrong. For example "he look so pitiful" become "he look so pathetic"... isn't that different meaning? When I search in pleco, 可怜 can mean pitiful or pathetic but in that situation I think pitiful is the one. And the worst is a LOT of missing text!!or even dialogue. I can't speak or read Chinese n English is not my main language, I read through Chrome google translate. And comparing the 2 as I read I noticed how bad the translation is, until mermaid arc. Mermaid arc is good all till the ending. Why am I comparing? Because some word or sentence meaning that's not clear in google translate, surprisingly well translated in the translation. What I'm trying to say is, if u editing as u mtl pls use Chrome Google translate its much better and find a source that doesn't cut the text or dialogue. Take the criticism to make ur translation better. I still appreciate the translation ~ <<less

I liked the ideas, but they lacked heart/emotion.

I loved MCs interaction with his family and I felt that kind of plot armor to be ok, actually quite nice and cute.

But his relationship with ML is very flat, their lovelanguage is touch I guess, because there is no real talking, and the ML wants to keep MC secure because 'feelings' but.... I don't really feel them... you can make a great storry without much conversarion, but than you need inner monologue and more indepth description...

I loved the ideas, anf the arcs... more>> have extremely high potential - as seen with "I'm not human"- but well it was lacking, still entertaining though.

Worth reading, but don't expect to much. <<less

The arcs have the same pattern and there's not much suspense/plot. Kind of boring but enjoyable enough for just a short read.

The entire novel could be summarized as, "the MC is loved by all" which makes the story lack suspense. He gets what he wants and doesn't lack any thing. He's a genius with a photographic memory, a guy with a wonderful lover and a protagonist loved by all and free of all sin. This is inevitably boring as shit. There's no conflict and everything is smooth sailing. There's some... more>> guy who wants go f*ck over the MC but he's dealt with pretty quick and he's a dumbass villain as well. So he doesn't get far even if the MC didn't have his holy plot halo.

The MC is a nice guy, he's smart, quick to adapt, selfless but not to the point of dumbassery. The ML is possessive to not an extreme and usually plays the golden thigh in the arcs which makes it even easier for the MC to get through so the arcs are boring-er. He's a nice guy though.

Overall, the novel has nothing to its name. It's boring, empty and the sequel (I'm Not Human) is so much better and I recommend reading that instead. What makes this novel enjoyable isn't the plot, the characters, but the setting of the arcs. They're all interesting and if the author actually utilized the settings, added some actual conflict, actually implemented the whole, "King's Game" with a more in-depth concept of it, this novel would've been good. Really a shame.

The settings of the arcs truly was the only good thing about the novel tbh (and maybe the romance ig, it was passable).

Also, I was expecting some conflict, some battling or some shit. I was just expecting some difficultly for our MC based of the description of the novel but we get none of that. Actually, we get the exact opposite of what the description implies tbh. The King part seems to be an after thought and there's not much emphasis on that when it's literally the title of the novel so major scam.

Recommended for those who are bored and for nothing to do or those who are interested in any of the settings I've listed above in the spoiler box. Other than that, just skip this novel tbh or go read, "I'm Not Human" instead. 3/5 <<less

The novel gave off some kind of similar feeling like ' The People Who’re Supposed To Kill Me Fell For Me Instead '. Well, it was from same author, so in a way make sense. It has Soft, Tender, Light, Fluffy feels. That's why when it surprise you, it hits you HARD!

Seriously, like TPWSTKMFFMI, the novel is Pretty Light... Absolutely Fluffy, Absolutely Lovely... Smooth Journey... It's such a Pastel colors story. With Slice of Life feels. But it's NOT Boring!!!

While it gave the same feeling like TPWSTKMFFMI, the plot point... more>> and some things are much different. The 'King' words is the clue. The Role the MC played, the Mission, the ML's identity, and the Ending, all different. So don't worry if you think you would read same story, you don't!

Beside the same feeling that this novel has with TPWSTKMFFMI, the only similarity it has with that novel is the ML is such a Good Boy!!! Sweet Clingy Good Boy!!! And well, both MC is a Calm type of Protagonists. That's it.

Anyway most of moments in the novel is Fluff, with few little conflict and emotional moments. Absolutely Wonderful Novel! Yes, I Love it! <<less

The reason I gave this a 5 star is for personal taste, I love it when Love Interest Falls in Love First, Doting Love Interest and all the sht. I enjoyed reading the arcs and the first arc has a novel of it's own called I'm not Human.

So the first arc was what made me hooked in this novel, the are fluffy moments and even sad moments in the arc. This isn't some deep and heavy plotline kind of novel, I feel like it's something for people... more>> who enjoy reading adored and nice MC x Scary-but-loves-MC ML. Where you don't really care about anything else because you just want some fluff and romance, yep this one's for you and me. <<less

Boring. There's nothing really that need to be done by the MC. He can just said what he wants and everyone else will do it for him. I read I'm not a Human first and that novel is acceptable because it's only one story that has that pattern but in this novel every arc has the same pattern and I just can't finish it.

The summary really makes you feel like you're gonna read something that has an OP MC but stil need to figure out ways to solve a challenge... more>> or complete the mission. But the MC is already a king in every arc so there's nothing that he has to do by himself. <<less

I really like the story which was full of fluff and love. I hope that I had a strong familial love like the MC.

Both ML and MC are strong individuals and they compliment each other characteristics.

I've just finished the first arc using google translate, and I love it so much (of course I will wait for translator-sama translations since you know g trans is, really I wish I could read chinese, ah) [][I think the concept of MC and ML as Zerg (relax, they're in human form, in case you guys somehow feeling odd imagining kind of alien in love) is unique and it can convey sweet and fluffy feeling of their love.] The MC looks like calm type while the ML is cold... more>> yet sweet towards MC type. This is the type of novel u either read for fun, healing after a depressing story, or you're into MC being pampered and loved by all. It's very lighthearted and sweet, each arc is smooth sailing and adorable with ML and the family~ Just the synopsis is a bit misleading, beside that there really isn't anything negative to say about this novel. Maybe it's more fitting to name it "The Pampering Game"? (ㅅ´ ˘ `)

Such a fluffy and sweet novel. There's nothing more romantic than to experience an unconditional love and to be able to love and be loved by the same person in all worlds. Because I've always love to see a devoted and doting lover, of course I'm all for this novel!! This has some story twist here and there but nothing very deep plot-wise. The lightness of the story plot is refreshing, though I can't say that this novel is relatively light in the emotional aspect, because the arcs... more>> surely pulled my heartstrings because of the heartwarming feelings given by the ML and the MC's family in every worlds.

If you want a refreshing read that will make your heart warm and teeth rot from so much sweetness (without being cringey), definitely pick this adorable novel up!! <<less

AHHHHHHHHH very sweet and healing. There are five words that the MC need to complete

1st world: ZERG/interstellar, the fluffiness of zerg during cub time. Kinda sad ending cause MC need to go to next world. Read the author's individual story for this arc: I am not human

2nd world: Fairy, cute spirits here purring. Flowers to MC. At d start though MC a lil bit pitiful. But as the system said he will be loved.

3rd world: Mafia/modern. All story is good actually. For this one I feel it is much down... more>> to earTH since both couple have their own family. Blood relatives (MC always had a family per arc haha)

4th world Mermaid but not really mermaid haha MC had a lil bloodline fr a extinct mythical creature. MC is an actor this time~

5th word: Machinery. I find the machines really cute here teehee

last: the present world. Couple's are meant to each other, Happy ending.

ML is really good yah know! Obedient and can wait for MC no matter how long it is. For me this is a fresh novel on my take. More on MC clearing worlds and finding his family <<less

This is an okay story. It honestly wasn't that great, especially since I felt like almost all the story arcs could have been fleshed out more.

The fluff was okay but there was hardly any tension, and the ending was quite lacklustre. It got to a point where I had to power through the story to finish reading because I wasn't sure if I would be able to come back to finish.

This transmigration novel was very dull in comparison to the spin-off, "I'm not Human", which was a much more fluffy... more>> and fulfilling read. In the end the whole novel started out great but the following arcs were pretty much a copy, paste of the first that it made the story boring. But it is an okay read to pass time. Maybe. Translation was fantastic, as expected of Chrysanthemum Garden. <<less
