There are certain lines one must never cross, and

Wife-chasing/crematorium novels is one of my guilty pleasures, but I really hate it when the "wife" continues to suffer during the "chasing/regret" section (even if it was "not intentional"). They've been tormented enough, please.

Its looks like a fast play of already read melodrama novel and with a scum gong

If someone is reading this type of novel for the first time, it may seem good

But for a veteran reader...

The 4 stars are for the translator and the author's efforts.

Mix of Perfect Match and Childish Flower as another reviewer already mentioned. Though the ML is not truly a terrible scum here imo (like in Perfect Match), more an incredible dumb fool who hasn't matured yet. He is 28y or so and still holds this weird kind of 'love' for his white moonlight crush like a young teenager, to the point he decides to divorce MC without even properly figuring out the feelings. ML was never cruel, but very confused about his feelings. I guess author had to write him... more>> this way otherwise the plot couldn't start...

Beginning was nice. MC and ML met eachother. Sweet start then followed by heart break and angst, so prepare tissues. The part where ML had to redeem himself in the end lacked creativity.

Also some other things that I didn't like:

MC left their son with ML and went abroad for 3y. He had a post partum depression and thinks the kid is better off with ML. I hate this kind of illogical thought that I often see in these abuse stories. How can you give up your son????

This novel is sweet and angst at the same time. In all scum novel I've ever read, this ML is the sweetest and most s*upid and immature one. If you're looking for gong regret, chase MC back, it is for you. The fact I like most about this novel is there were no green b*tches involved. Just ML is s*upid by himself.

This is a getaway kinda story after reading too many angst+tragedy (heavy plot story) . It's an intermediate story where combining the plot from perfect match (mainly from ML's parents POVs) + childish flower into one story but the taste of drama only subtle.

the ending kinda rush but overall it's nice from my point of view.
