Okay, so the protags were from a time like the republic of china but some males there can actually get pregnant and give birth- MC is such and he grew up knowing and being groomed as the ML's wife. The ML is a serious and responsible man who at first was filial but grew to love his intended bride and they eventually married and lived their lives focused on bringing each other happiness. Theirs is a gradual love, one that started as an attraction then deepened overtime. There were misunderstandings along the way but they got over it after much coaxing- but itvwas really nice how both learned from these situations and it only enhances their love once more. (This is the most perfect love i've seen in all the years i've spent reading fiction- it's poignancy is to the point of almost being too perfect in this rotten world we have now where people are s*aves to their desires. Anyways back to story, after they traversed (they were married for 2 years in their orig world and were expecting the bun) they had to start learning how live in this modern world and it was funny and cute. The ML in order to provide for his family, as the husband, has to start earning money again - his influential family found him and he took his wife with him back to the capital- started working in the family company and is being targeted by his two hqlf brothers from different mothers. The ML's dad (modern world) is a scumbag who has 3 wives and 8 children. ML is the fifth son. Lots of family drama here but MC and ML doesnt interfere since its not as worrying as them having no susbstantial money or assets. Since little bun is coming ML is hard pressed to provide for his family and survive in a world foreign to him he doesnt even know how to use an atm~~Hahaha. MC is a painter- apprenticed to an old master since he was 5 (in the orig world) and can be considered as a Master in Chinese Painting in his own right. He also made friends in the modern world whose fates will be linked to his thru certain factors. The protags eventually moved out of the big house and lived on their own cause mc's belly is getting bigger and they do not want the family to know.
