Alioth Riel, who was living a peaceful life as the daughter of a Marquis who organized a private army by a merchant. (A merchant organization who protects the market)

One day, I rescued a poor handsome man who had collapsed on the street. That man was Cassiar Kissen, a notorious villain who ruined the lives of both the heroine and male lead in the novels I had read.

Furthermore, only the Heroine possessed the power to put the villain to sleep. Like he did to the Heroine in the original story, the villain began to obsess over me. At this rate, I was worried that I would end up with a ruined ending, so I set out to find the Heroine.

“It seems that you did not receive the obituary.”

“An obituary? Whose…”

When I looked into the red and bloodshot eyes of the Count, the Heroine’s father, I got a shiver down my spine and had a bad hunch.

“She is dead. My daughter is already dead.”

The Heroine in the novel died. And she had given me her power in exchange for a ruined ending.

I loved it up until the point when 2nd ML was introduced. I felt too bad for him so I dropped.

Spoiler

Apparently MC had a childhood friend who taught her swordsmanship and they even had photos together when she was 7, but when MC was 8, he needed to leave the kingdom to train and MC even promised him that they will marry and that he can’t get any other girl. So, after all of these years, his training finally ended and he returned back to kingdom. All this time they had kept contact by sending letters and he arrived to her house to ask her on date but now MC reveals that she will marry someone else (duke) and poor guy is so shocked because she never mentioned that in letters.

[collapse]

Other than that story is fine. For a change, MC actually comes from a loving family and was doing great up until the point she met ML, then she regains her past memories (her past life wasn’t a happy one tho) and realises that everything is like in the novel. MC is very straight forward so she constantly creates funny situations and ML is a sweet guy who is either sarcastic or flirty (but has a cold villainous appearance). ML isn’t really a villain but a very sad character who suffers from madness and insomnia his whole life (because of madness, he has killed many innocent people and gotten a deep trauma). His villainous acts in novel are kidnapping and stalking but that’s because he had build up immunity to all kinds of sleeping medicine and heroine was his only option (poor guy just doesn’t want to kill innocent people and got very desperate). ML is pretty obsessive already at the start and is very caring for people who are close to him like servants. Both characters are falling in love pretty fast (almost too fast) because in just a few days both of them felt empty without each other. <<less
