“I don’t want incompetent people. Get out of my party right now!”

The protagonist, Kagura, was shouted down by the hero and was told he was fired. The hero’s party consisted of Kagura, the hero and three girls.

Even though he knew the lowly inner thoughts of the hero, Kagura still accepted the fact he was fired.

Kagura was a knight of the church.
Because of his position, he could not quit on his own, but it was natural for him to stay in the wild and eat preserved food. He was fed up with the harsh journey of defeating the Demon King and the constant lack of sleep because he was always on guard duty.

Fired? That would be great!

I’ll take this opportunity to quit the church, get my severance pay, and then take over the family business and relax!
The three girls who used to be part of the hero’s party came to see Kagura, who had been exiled in high spirits.

“If Kagura-sama isn’t with us, there’s no reason for us to be in that hero’s party!”

…… Apparently, all of them were in the party for me, not the hero.

So we have a hero who can not keep his D in his pants boot the MC because they are the only 2 males in the party (the "hero" even openly refers to the party as his harem, so wanting to stick it in the other members is undeniable). Slandering the MC as incompetent as a justification.

Problem is the MC was in the party for a reason, including high level politics, but due to how he had been mistreated (eg : unfair watch schedules, so he was likely sleep deprived... more>> while the hero fully rested) has become disillusioned and wanted to quit, so he takes this as a justification to get out of there.

The other party members upon finding out all quit, which makes sense since the hero just booted the only other tank, and protecting the casters is not an easy task. Kind of makes the hero a liability to their survival.

The booting from the hero party is a trope seeing to much, but at least this time the value of the MC is obvious to everyone other then the hero who was not thinking past getting rid of the "competition" for the girls. It is not the usual no one really knew his strength, or the abilities blossom/are discovered after the booting. No the hero is just a h**ny idiot who did not make sure the girls actually liked him, and put building a harem above his actual quest. <<less

I try it because I find the title funny, but I feel disappointed. The premise is interesting, but the execution is just bad.

First, don't read it if you're uncomfortable with r*pe and s*xual harassment. Because the story don't really warn you.

So MC is a typical OP loved without reason by everyone exiled off the party by the hero for no real reason either (hero wanted a harem) and come back home. Ironically, all the teammate learn MC departure, they leave the hero too. The 3 girls come ask the pope... more>> where is MC and this is the start of their creepy behavior.

They said that they like him, but there is no real reason for that other than he is strong, righteous and perfect. That why their come harass him and act as if he was consenting. Also, for girls who claim to love him, they didn't really do much when he was harassed by the hero. MC said he was always in guard duty at night and some others stuff, but never mention being defended by any girls who like him.

The hero is a creep too, he just thinks only with and about his dick. He constantly wants to have s*xual relationship and his doesn't care about consent.

Resume of the story so far
Spoiler

MC leaves the hero party, leaves the church and become a priest of the god of dance after his dad. (Yeah, because his family was more or less the god of dance apostle, but somehow he chooses to become a paladin of another religion) One day, he goes out to do his job and when he came back, his 3 ex teammates were here, acting like wives. They install herself in his home, clean and make food, they try to come when he baths, sleep with him, try to "lick him" in his sleep, they all said that they like him but no one bother to answer him when he protests, etc... This... is not a fluffy comedy romantic relationship, it's just s*xual harassment !

A demon attack, MC beat him. The hero come afterward and is angry that all the girls were with him. He challenges MC to a duel where the girls became his s*xual s*aves and the girls accepts instead of MC because no one ever bother listening to him anyway. MC win, Hero not happy, Hero turn to the dark side and become a demon.

Oh yeah, the demon said that the fighting style of MC (dance) was more powerful and dangerous for them than the actual one. Fortunately for them, no human except MC and his family bother to learn it.

Dark Hero (DH) became allies with the demon lord and attack the capital, fight the pope and fulfill his ultimate goal. Kidnap the most beautiful priest to... r*pe her.

MC goes to the capital, but everything is over, then directly go to the demon lord castle to save the girl. The demon lord, feeling MC approach, decides to attack the MC home with DH who is reaaaaaaaly frustrate to not being able to lose his v**ginity with the girl he was about to r*pe. MC arrived, fight and learn some lore about the origin of the hero, and stuff I don't really pay attention too. The girl who was one of the 3 stalkers girl's sister is saved, but not before they fight a succubus who will yell not wanted to die as a virg*n before pass away. MC learns that Demon lord and DH are in his home.

DH went to MC house and start attacking the 2 stalkers girls while doing s*xual harassment like "if you don't want to suffer, undress yourself, beg for mercy and open your legs". He beat them, then try to r*pe (as usual now) but MC come to the rescue.

And I didn't read more

[collapse]

I don't know if the author has any idea of what a relationship is, but the story doesn't know of the word consent. Since it's a short story, I wanted to finish it, but all these r*pe tentative and s*xual harassment cooled me down.

I give 1 stars, only because I can't give 0. <<less

Stereotypical overlooked and underappreciated ML, except he isn't. There's no build-up and the MC is just amazing and everyone loves him *except* the hero

c1: MC booted from hero party, female companions miss him and bail. MC fears he shouldn't tell the church that the hero kicked him or MC will be punished

c2: MC tells the church anyway... Right away, with no pressure. Turns out the *pope* is his fanboy and mourns their loss, MC is the greatest holy knight there is.

c3: the gods are crazy about him too. Go figure

Not bad. Fairly short story. Comedy and romance are the focus.

Pretty standard story among this type of plot (Getting kicked out of the hero party). Nothing too special so far but it's definitely solid with quick gratification and little to no dissatisfying parts. A basic wish fulfillment story.

The novel shows promise concept wise. But at the same time, the story was executed very badly.

At times I felt as if the fighting scenes, and description of the character's actions weren't described very well. Where everything ended up feeling very short and choppy, with lots of information missing in between.

The story features unique Japanese styled magic and fighting styles I have never come across before. But the author never even bothers to explain any of this in detail, and continues to showcase ML being OP, thus leaving us readers... more>> very confused.

I have come across shittier storylines in novels before. But until this issue of bad writing gets fixed, this currently will be below 3 star rating from me. <<less

Story is short and decent.

Unfortunately, the translation is pretty bad: wrong pronouns, and not properly delineating changes in PoV are 2 of the biggest issues that make the story confusing to read.

If I hadn't known that the story only had 30+ chapters, I would have quit reading early on.

I like this. I know most readers probably go "Oh he's loved by everyone and it's a wish-fullfilment novel" I would probably agree. But here I liked how it was done so far. And it's quite nice to see tables turning right from the start

Maybe the reason was because of some interesting ideas used. The job he quit is Holy Knight and he was good at it but the job he delayed is more intersting. MC is a head priest of a shrine and his job is dancer. When... more>> I first read he wanted to quit being a Knight to take over the family job I expected this to go slow-life route but his job involves a lot of action so it's not exactly slow life either. I'm interested to see where this will go. I the last chapter had some cliches so I hope it avoids doing more cliches in the upcoming chapters <<less
