This novel has been quite a good read so far. The main character doesn't shy away from killing while also not being some megadouche who kills for for basically no reason at all. He is strong but not overpowered, there are other people in the world that can beat his a**. The main character also isn't a reactionary protagonist, he has goals and motivations and will actively work toward them, with things not just falling into his lap. He also seemingly doesn't have a fat stack of plot armor on... more>> his back, like, he gets into dangerous situations but you can still feel tension because it doesn't break you're suspension of disbelief when he survives. To be honest this is just my impression from the first 16 chapters and it could totally change later on in story. Having said that I feel like the story is worth a read through because the author is very good, and the translation quality is great as well. I think this story is something a majority of readers will enjoy if they read through the first 5-10ish chapters. <<less

Has some really amazing passages (chapter 4's ending for example), really well paced and well written. Characters are really lively and memorable.

• I didn't like the first relation happening this quick, but it seems to be one of a kind, and didn't really happen again.

the MC is selfish, shameless, and to be honest morally questionable but he is very competent, you can really feel that he is someone who went through hell and it made him a little crazy

the translation quality is surprisingly good unlike other unpopular novels that are basicaly glorified MTL

overall its quite entertaining

EDIT: after chapter 60 the translation stoped for more than a month but thats not the problem at all, the problem is that after it resumed the the traslation quality droped to pretty much MTL level, really take the joy from reading, feels fuking badman, it was such a nice novel too..... <<less

Really good story. Ruthless and calculative MC. War is really well written and enemies arent evil for the sake of being evil. Lots of potential.

The only downside is that translation quality degraded starting from atleast chapter 64. It feels like mtl with some edits to make it readable but its hard to read. Names had changed and I can no longer know who is being talked about. This comes as a big downside especially in that part.... more>>

MC is currently in the middle of war so lots of names are being uttered yet now it is hard to know who is being talked about. Some of them are referred to as their korean names. It becomes annoying since I have to spend some time to understand who they are

Surprisingly good regressor story. The theme is less cliche regarding korean novels: it's high fantasy without any kind of litrpg system. It's a little thin on magic and too focused on warriors, but still quite good. Also there are large scale battles which were done well.

The MC doesn't want to save the world and just wants to chill until the apocalypse but trouble keeps coming his way. Can't say he's likeable but he's not terrible either. The girls are cardboard waifus, and just throw themselves at the MC, so don't... more>> expect meaningful relationships with his harem.

Unfortunately the translation quality takes a dive around chapter 55+, and it becomes MTL with little editing. A bad tranlastion can quickly kill a good story =/ <<less

I like the MC character. He very straight forward and did what he wants. It's funny to read how he blowed things up and didn't give sh*t to it.

The 1st 150 chps were really good 4*. Then around c270 the writing turned really weird focusing on a certain thing way too much compared to the balance in the story early on. By this point I skipped to interesting chp titles and read the last 6 chps not really losing any important information I might have missed.

Happy ending but can't tell if I just got bored or disappointed that made me skip chps. Everything was bland and basic at this point characters, story, fighting, kingdom building, etc.

The setting has a lot of potential but unfortunately, the current translations are simply abysmal to put it kindly.

Generally, I avoid commenting on translations and writing a review before completion but when it takes away from the work to such an extent that it becomes unreadable, the translation quality cannot be helped but be judged as a factor when considering recommending this novel.
