Sorry hon won't be continuing you. If you came here for the smut be prepared to deal with drama.

I seriously f*cking can't stand the ml! MC pursued him for 3 godamn years and he refused and treated him coldly, and then now that MC gave up you feel anxious and want him to continue liking you? The nerve! And what's more, a “I may... a little bit... like you” from him is enough for MC to throw himself at him. Wonderful!

SO yeah with the summary the story started with MC being rejected by the ML, MC tryin to give up on ML after

Then MC&ML was forced into a study grp by their teacher, they can teach each other on their weak subj, MC wants to refuse but then ML said:

“It’s not a waste of time. I can learn when I supervise you, ” Fu Anli said coldly.

Why ML being hard on not accepting throughout the yrs was cause he had a wrong outlook on MC species:

ML though the fox demons are frivolous creatures thats why he had a closed mind whenever MC confessed. If you're the ML and a person was continuously pursuing you, Knowing that person species is frivoulous/naughty (which was ML was wrong& corrected just recently) you'll have doubts if that person was just toying with you throughout yrs. (There is also ML past) They are not even classmates, MC got Love at first sight for ML

ML perspective of MC has been more on the optimistic side but then before our couple have a start of being more open/know about each other the MC heat arrived. What can they do?of course to solve it first, .

The 1st Heat: Fu Anli (ML) thought he (MC) was crying, so he took him into his arms and comforted him. ML also took care of MC throughout their love making, preparing him, cleaning up their traces after, buying MC a pillow (*^▽^*)

Anyways whenever MC in heat it was consensual what I perceived in the story:

1st heat ML asked MC if he knows him (ML) making sure that MC still have a clear mind who he's gonna be with, & next heat sessons they both consented to it

Then there are a lil teasing here and there, like call me Husband but MC refused& said he gonna find other guysxD then ML got angry afterwards making MC swoon during their papappa it was intense bb MC cried

Also like MC bestfriend Shen Yu🤣although kinda awkward with his 1st idea for MC to seduce ML (well Fox demons were supposed to be like that or good at it&MC agree with it though our bb MC got a lil heartbroken) until Chap 9 MC still thinks he&ML is just friend with benefits but as a reader we can see how ML really cares for our MC

ML personality even accrdg to MC BFF:
Shen Yu noticed this anxiety, so he couldn’t understand, “If you want him, go to him. You know Fu Anli is not an active person. If you don’t take the initiative, how can you fall in love?”

Hey that is an improvement ML showing his feelings, he's usually cold& after he said that he felt relieved which means he really likes the MC but then again ML being a Tsun Tsun after his lil confesson was Like:

When Hu Yu just felt that his brain exploded with fireworks, making him unable to think.

Fu Anli added calmly, “Don’t think about it too much. It’s just a little bit.”

And another moment of being an ML Tsun Tsun:
MC to ML: “I like you! Especially like! Super like!”

Fu Anli was happy, but on the surface, he had to pretend to be indifferent, “Oh, but I only like you a little. What should I do?”

Yes ML already likes MC but just being indiffent on the surface. ML&MC have their own upbringing&personality which the author has shown. After they confirmed each other feelings their Papapa scenes were much more fluffy and full of sweetness^^ <<less

I love this kind of story. Maybe some of you dont like this kind of controlling male lead but it super hot to matched it with a sl*t fox. Well it a fox demon so what you expect with their nature of course be sl*tty when they in heat. But it was super smutty. (ꈍᴗꈍ),

The translation is good but I just can't stand the ML.

He literally have the word 'scum' on his forehead. I mean– I like jealous and possessive male leads but that's under the condition that's he's not scummy.

This one just hit the spot. Spoiler ahead be warned:

And when MC declared he'll give up on ML, MC suddenly went on heat and he (ML) took advantage of that situation to have interc**rse with MC. Their first s*x comes off as dub-con to me.

He also have the need to bind MC to him through interc**rse to help him calm his anxious ti*s after hearing that MC will give up on him. His control freak self can't stand and handle that MC will give up on him. So he took advantage of MC.

I pity the fox's, they're only allowed to love one person in their lifetime. It's like a product/item you bought in the supermarket that can't be returned/refunded.

I wish MC loved someone else because this one doesn't deserve any of his painstaking love. The MC is also too into the ML in this novel, I don't know if it's because he really just love him (ML) or is it because of foxes just having one partner for a lifetime. <<less

This story shows clearly as a first love story with all the bad ideas and naivety of teenagers.

Surprisingly, the MC is willing to walk away from the ML instead of just suffering. He can recognize the signs of an unhealthy relationship, which I appreciate.

The ML has his sweet side in taking care of his fox, but he is domineering and definitely not mature or sensible enough to be in control. He screams reckless youth. Some parts were rather r*pe-y but it's not overly dark.

There is a HE to this story but the beginning makes me so sad for the fox.

Fox is sweet and cute and earnest in his unrequited love but Love is a bit uninformed about some key things and rejects him.

Its such a relief when Love gets the correct information and let's himself love Fox.

Ya know, I actually came for a short-hot smut, and having a tag of "friends with benefits" seems not too bad, but I now regret my decision.
I usually don't read/watch anything sad or depressing as I'm easily affected by it, like yes I read some illogical smuts, but bruh I did not expect the angst T.T My heart ached as I read this. I don't even want the MC to end up w/ the ML. For me, his redemption (or is that even) was not good enough and wont justify for the heart aches he gave to MC.

It was because he mistook him as a fox spirit or even regarded that fox spirit and fox demon are the same. Yes he's angry that's why he was so muddle headed but can you not be a selfish jerk

This is really good! There is the unrequited love angst for more than half the book book (which is da best), a cute fully fox and them smmuutttt! Definitely recommend this to those looking for a smutty quick read!

don't be deceived by the title!!! it's a lot of melodrama... the heat doesn't start until later, and even then I'm not too sure if they ended up liking each other or not. It's a good short novel for sure!! thanks to the translation team for bringing this one over!! If you're into unrequited love (heavy feels) that ended up into s*x and ended up solving the relationship (??) then this one's for you. But honestly even writing this... makes me realize the plot is somewhat befuddling and shallow?? Still...

I liked the story. MC is really cute. I have complicated feelings about ML; he treated MC really badly, while MC didn't do anything wrong; he just liked him. I get that ML has his reasons, but they're not an excuse for his actions. You can't blame people for others mistakes. But I really loved MC's best friend; everyone needs such a person in his/her life.

I wouldn't say that story is great, but it's short, well written, and nothing excessive happened; it's good to pass time. Also, I love foxes,... more>> so for those reasons, I won't deduct points. <<less

The fox demon Hu Yu has been in love with the cool and aloof human Fu Anli for years. The first part of this story covers the angst-filled emotions of Hu Yu pursuing his first love, being rejected by his first love, and then coping with the rejection. Thankfully, circumstances change and create an opportunity that leads to a happy ending.

There is smut. The black-bellied ML Fu Anli definitely shows his evil streak - you definitely feel badly for the MC Hu Yu when he's being bullied.

First, Exhiled Rebels did an amazing job as always with their translation. 👏 Onto what I think of the story: it does have a good flow, it needs for certain areas that have already been discussed (FA's treatment of HY) to be resolved a bit better for me to want to give all 5 stars.

Recommended short novel. The translation is good as always from Exiled Rebels.

The pace is fast but not skipping necessaries. In my opinion, few more chapters or few extras would make the story more completed. The end as is now seems a bit dropped.

Don't know why the rating is this low.

At the start, ML's attitude seriously pissed me off. He acts so cold and heartless. MC seemed cute to me and I was sad with how his affections were treated like dust.

The relationship starts when MC goes into heat and ML 'helps' him. So yeah it's smutty but not really fluffy.

ML then let's go of his prejudice and they get together. That's the complete story basically. Afterwards it gets fluffy.

So basically it has a simple plot and I liked reading it

Please don't expect more than what's on the surface. It's a short simple story, exactly what is in the summary.

I personally wish there was a more obvious romance or at least more mutual since it was mainly MC who chased ML, ML didn't seem as equal in his care. Even when he got worried MC was moving on from him (like after he had a realization that yes he was attracted to MC despite his hate of foxes, so it was okay if they had s*x) he didn't really do... more>> much to go after him except... with hold s*x until MC was like yes I do like you, I'll call you husband, I won't look for others etc now please move!

I did like the MC was willing to walk away from the possible unhappiness, he wasn't going to sit around and keep getting rejected. He was willing to see if he could move on or if he really was stuck loving this guy forever. I mean they still got together in the end but the possibility was there. ML isn't as bad as I thought but buying a cushion won't make me forget he was prejudice against him for something his mother said that caused him to misunderstand fox demons. <<less
