ML was hypocritical as f*ck because previously he claimed to be MC's home and would never abandon him, next second he ignored MC and signed some documents, like giving MC the villa as "recompense", in order to get rid of him.

MC had literally been abandoned by his parents not long before that (with the ML speeding that up in the background) and ML thought it was fine to go back on his word and become the next person to drop the MC? (You find out ML was pretending, but that just makes his decision to torture the MC WORSE.)

MC was devastated but then instantly forgave the ML after they got together and ML said it was all pretend? Wtf? The reasoning that was given for the separation was complete bullsh*t too.

The pacing suffered a lot after that and a ton of things were very abruptly decided, which really lowered the quality of the story as a whole.

I thought I was IN for the story of a cute Seme coming with his feelings but surprise *ghost sounds woooo* wooo* haha!

MC is a sweet, sensible and very likable!! He is the one that confess first and very determined, I quite like it and I also like that he knew when to retreat! Our ML is very endearing but very mysterious. So That was one of the reasons, he was refuting both his feelings and MC's. But anyway they got their happy ending and the side couple - The driver Meng and MC 's best friend got their HE too! There isn't really any Mpreg apart the fact MC has 2 sexes and last line of the novel that "he became pregnant" that was it!

And that ML, where all his money come from? Well I guess with 25 chapters there is bound to be some holes. Anyway I recommend , it is light, bit mysterious And kinda bit silly cute read plus it's very short so a quick snack?? Haha lol!

I enjoyed reading this however the ML is not likable. He is manipulative, yes, that's fine by me that's the way his character was written however his callousness towards MCs feelings made me dislike him.

I wholeheartedly agree with Earlgrey's review about ML's character.

MC is a very nice person, although he isn't perfect he deserves to be protected. Frankly speaking, ML doesn't deserve him at all.

Maybe the problem is becaue the story is too short. I think if they expand the plot maybe it will be better idk. The scary ghost elements are quite funny since it is in the perspective of our very normal human MC. I like the MC and the secondary CP. The shou is overbearing but his seriousness is kind of cute lol. A few writers aren't able to achieve a balance for overbearing shous like this.

Then begins the cycle of MC being abandoned again and given up just like that. ML is scum and he doesn't deserve MC. I hate him to the point that I honestly wish MC got away from him and that ML stayed away himself, never to entangle again. Heck, he found his real son so focus on him then. ML chose his real son, fine with me because that's his right. But the fact that he tossed MC away like some piece of scrap that lost all its value despite all the times they spent together and then that shite excuse he made to explain why he did it? Unforgivable. The audacity he had to feel possesive over MC when things went south after he abandoned him. While it was good he saved MC then, he shouldn't have shown his face again and instead should have let MC grow independent from that point on. He made his bed when he chose to abandon MC, he should have lied down on it and didn't get back up again to bother MC.

He's so contradictory and MC, despite all the hurt he suffered, forgave and accepted ML easily. I didn't like that because I felt cheated by the fact that MC never got a chance to truly be his own self and move past all the shitty things he experienced. He has been dependent on ML and there's that imbalance from the beginning. MC deserves a better partner, and if it were up to me, MC should never have ended up with ML. Heck, he shouldn't even have gotten the chance to see MC again after what he did. He played MC like the fool and had the nerve to 'gather him back in his arms' like the betrayal never even happened. I know I'm petty for not wanting MC to see ML again, but still. <<less

I keep teetering on whether to give 2 stars or 3 but in the end I just did not enjoy the story as much as I thought I would, so 2 stars. I knew it was a ghost ML story yet the whole time I kept getting alien/interstellar vibes. Maybe I've just been reading those types lately that it left a lingering impression. It was some of their actions and the whole mind reading that made me think it.

MC was an okay straightforward guy, nothing too annoying except he's... not... more>> exactly naive but a bit sheltered. He does have some self loathing/shame towards his female bits. He's pitiful, his family didn't want him, there was a girl chasing him but for wealth he didn't actually have, ML is an awful person (christ some of the stuff he did made me mad). I think the only ones who treated him nicely with no expectation were his little brother and his friends. Especially the friends, those guys were nice and accepting. One of them was part of a side CP and honestly the side CP was more engaging and interesting dynamic than the main CP. Wish they got some extras featuring them.

The ML, god he makes me mad. He's just a cold selfish jerk. Like the summary said he doesn't feel that way towards MC but his behavior is more like a spouse than a father. It's not till he tells MC that he's the reincarnation of his favorite son that he treats him like a son but like in a teasing way that felt more like a foreplay. But like I can't find anything nice or redeeming about him, he pushed MC to a desperate situation to force him to rely on ML. Yet he was quick to abandon him for what really seemed to be no real reason. He's not really affectionate either, MC would pick food for him (out of affection even before he realized he liked ML) and he was very picky about it. As if it wasn't to his standards, which considering his identity makes sense but this is your partner. I don't know it just feels like MC put in more effort & struggled while ML had it easy and got rewarded.

There's no real Mpreg btw, it's just a few quick sentences of him being nauseous/confirmed being pregnant. No family fluff here 😔 <<less

I quite love MC and thinks he’s pitiful. I do agree that the ML’s reason for being sh*t is not to my liking. And then the fact how the author chose to solve the conflict is bit cliché, I still remember enjoying it. Then after the ML also has changed a bit so I guess it’s okay. Good and short read. Enjoyed the premise and the side cp as well. Of course there are still some things I didnt quite like. For instance, how the ML kinda felt manipulative and how the MC forgave him so easily despite the clear pain he was in. But overall for just 25 chapters I can say it was pretty good.

I enjoyed reading this! There was fluff and also a little angst but all in all, it's quite a good light-read novel.

i had mixed feelings... probably because it was too short to really appreciate the entire thing, but it was a good read overall. the premise was interesting, but in the end it left me a bit unsatisfied; it could have been better if the author added another ten chapters or so to flesh out some of the plot points and have things transition more smoothly. but overall it was a good read if you’re looking for something to pass the time

I must say, I genuinely enjoyed this novel! The MC was adorable. I liked the fact that although he was innocent to some degree, he was not naïve. He was in fact straightforward and his feelings were reflected in his actions. I understood why he was always self conscious of his body after the situation with his family was explained. And truly enjoyed how treasured the ML made the MC feel and how he was able to get his happy ending, something he never thought he would have because of his condition! I was hoping for more drama but anyway, Great novel. Amazing characters. Highly recommended. I'm very sorry, I'm too lazy to write a detailed review, imma just say it's really worth reading.

A cute short story. Lol actually would love an extra story of the side cp. They are alot more fun.
