Story is good and interesting. So far just mild if any nationalism from your typical Chinese novel. The translations are horrible. It’s just google machine translations. They have the gall to charge people coins for their mtl translations.

One of the fanfics that I like. Maybe not perfect but good enough. There may be some flaws or plot holes but it's all acceptable, and again, the story is interesting. Although sometimes there are parts that feel slow or unsatisfied, they are not so bad. I just hope that eventually everyone finds out about the Kent Family! And lol hahahah they finally found out! Ha ha ha

At first I was hesitant to read this and thought, 'maybe this was a story that too weird so the rating was so... more>> low, ' but it turns out that as the story progresses, this is one, the fanfic that could make me curious and persevere to read it, despite the rating only 3.4. <<less

I believe this is an example of an exceptionally good fan fiction worthy of 5 stars when rated within its genre. Maybe you could take a star off for a sub-par translation in all honesty but I felt the story eventually overshadowed the flaws. This story does some things particularly well.

One is the characters, they feel like real people and there are little nuances of their interactions that resonate with reality. Moreover I've basically never felt a disconnect between cannon characters and their actions in this fan fiction unlike so... more>> many others I've read. Never a moment where I got pulled out and thought, "That character wouldn't have done/said that". The author's original characters and the alternate version semi-canon ones (*Cough* Clark Kent, the twins Charles and Eric, etc) also resonate with their setting and surroundings in a realistic way.

Another well done thing is the flow of events and time. The use of timeskips is nearly the perfect amount, including the timing of the timeskip in the story itself. The characters aren't pin-balling from one major event straight into the next with no time to rest or play. This is unlike so many other stories, where after a hundred chapters only a few days or weeks of in story time has passed.

Related to the excellent sense of time above is the author's choice to start the series in the 1980's. Almost all other Marvel fanfiction I've read either starts back in WW2 or with the events of Iron Man. While that is not a bad thing, it means that those stories usually get locked into cannon events and character settings until their MC butterflies flap their wings enough times. Even then, if they change too much the story often starts to feel not quite right. By starting in the 80's the author can use the marvel framework to automatically give us a sense of familiarity with his story while having semi-free rein to fill in his own blanks as not much is firmly established in cannon for that period. The best of both familiarity and freedom. We can meet HIS version of young Phil Coulson or Nick Fury and any changes in their characters won't feel too out of place. If the cannon events of the MCU never happen it will be after we have read hundreds of chapters of this MC slowly changing the world. It'll feel natural by then that things don't end up the same.

Lastly, a little note on the MC and the classic downvotes because "OP MC bad" Marty Stu RAWR!

While the main character is indeed OP, it's at a level that is balanced perfectly for the events and people in the Marvel world he is facing. He doesn't feel out of place in the MCU. (Also let's be honest that as much as we scold authors for writing OP protagonists, at least some of the time we all secretly prefer reading about one to a normal person.) <<less

It's risky to mix two differents comics worlds together, like here with DC and Marvel, but it can be done nicely, and some did it before with some fanfictions.

But once you add to the plot stuff from Hearthstone, LoL, and Bleach, after only 10 chapters, when it wasn't needed at all for the plot (the MP being already the "king of assassins" at chapter 1), with also a translation done through mtl and almost not eddited for 90% of the text, it becomes too confusing, weird, wtf and chaotic to... more>> read.

I don't get it, the concept and goldenfinger were interesting enough without all these manga/game elements. A huge waste of potential like most of the chinese fanfictions... <<less
