Here, we have our 2 main leads, Finn and Lily.

In the beginning, we see that these two are very caring to each other to the point that even in their moment of death, the two of them confessed their love to each other; this being Lily solely while Finn didn’t get the chance to confess.

But this was only in the first life that we had read in the first few chapters of the story.

So, the moment they both died, Finn, or rather, "Bin", regressed and met the original owner who gave away his powers to him before our MC came back to the moment where a landslide occurred.

Now, this was the part where it got interesting where the MC managed to save only the emperor and the princess who was unconscious, and that they were able to gain the elixir that could cure the princess in exchange for the MC's left eye.

She was cured, there's no doubt in that, but there's a catch... there is always a catch that maybe this part may seem cliché to some but it was so implemented perfectly to me that I could truly feel the heart wrenching emotion that the MC wholeheartedly put and placed in caring for his princess to be alive and well.

It makes one think that the MC should've shown his own disappointment from the get-go than just foolishly and naively let the princess be so harsh on him just because of a lie that he and the emperor made up.

It was too much to bear but the MC had a forebearing willful love towards the princess that he had let her choose in letting him eat like a dog on the floor beside her. Of course, the MC differs completely from your every day male MC who decided to bear the treatment she was showing him, but he was also planning for the future to prevent tragedies from further happening to his princess.

I'll just say that he is the typical boy next door who is like the embodiment of a chivalrous man willing to do anything for his lord. 🤧

This just goes to show how one becomes a fool in love just to give many opportunities to the person one loves.
