It’s an interesting and entertaining story. The progression is smooth and filled with actions. Loved the FL and all the male leads. First time seeing a reverse harem in apocalyptic zombie genre so I quite enjoyed it. There are plots holes and the FL is the typical Mary Sue with a lot of males pinning for her. If that was it I would have given it a 4 stars as I liked how the story progressed. The reason Im taking a star off is because of the author blatant discrimination... more>> of other races. I wasn’t uncomfortable with the pro-china propaganda... it’s normal to be proud of your country but that doesn’t excuse you from depicting other countries as the absolute worst. Those arcs were not enjoyable. <<less

First time reading this kind of book. Entertaining to read, finished reading in 2 days. Excited for more updated. would give 9/10 because I absolutely love this book but....

Spoiler

There were certain things I noticed that just made me confused. For example, when the FL fell into the Yan river and was saved by that crazy pe*verted man throughout pretty much the whole time she stayed with him in his house not once has she mentioned and worried for her child. She was worried about Er (forgot his name but her zombie companion). Not once was she like how is my baby doing, is he okay, does he miss me, etc... Like at the begging of the novel you were all like I need to grow stronger to protect my baby basically living for him basically doesn't make sense. And in the story is was brought up that she didn't give him a name and she was kinda surprised about it when it happened like oh I've never given him a name only a nickname and then it was never brought up again like that's your baby and at first I was kay because of the whole apocalypse thing but then it's like someone brought it up and you didn't even give him a name after. Especially since the baby is on the title of the name you would think the story would include more of him but it doesn't as much as you hope but I really like the novel and doesn't affect my view of the novel in any way. Still think it's an engaging must-read novel just that...

Good read so far.

Honestly, I've been avoiding reading this for a long time. While I enjoy apocalypse plots, due to the misleading title I thought there would be a lot of baby scenes. I would say there's just enough. It's mostly focused on the MC and her companions & family as they struggle through the apocalypse. The weirdest thing is that the baby talks full sentences, without having even heard the words before. So it seems more like an adult in a baby's body, and isn't that cute. But then... more>> again, if we're talking weirdness; a zombie; a corpse without a beating heart that feeds on humans? How realistic is that?

Aside from this... I absolutely love this story, and I've been so addicted to reading it. The harem parts of it so far has worked very well and isn't too much in your face. I'm very intrigued to read more. Thanks to the translator for making it possible for us to read. <<less

I wish the lil bun appeared more frequently. : (He's in the book's title but his role is reduced to hugging, eating and sleeping, while what I was expecting was a powerful mom and son duo terrifying everyone on sight.

I tried reading it once before but immediately gave up because the first few chapters put me off. A highly qualified agent who has gone a lot of life and death missions got hit by a car and died? Wtf? I mean I know shes pregnant and all that but it's just so cliche. And the newborn could immediately talk right after crawling out of his mother's belly.

But I decided to try reading once again since the rating suddenly became high. The story was actually quite good. I like how... more>> she's decisive in her actions but still retaining her soft side despite being a zombie.

And the author's definitely a shotacon!!! She first had a womanly good feeling to a tall, incredibly delicious guy but the one she ate first was the beautiful zombie boy. Gosh! If I were her, Id pounce immediately to that military hottie. It's the polayandry world were talking about so she should just eat her fill. Lol <<less

This is my first time seeing a plot like this. I don't know if there are any similiar plot, but this plot seems very promising and interesting.

I have read a few chapter and felt like the book and the way the story flows is okay. I felt like something is missing.. But I like how the story progress until now (c24)

Technically speaking this was a fairly good novel, if u wanna read a novel with an op female MC then this is right up your alley. It was really good up until the arc wherein the MC goes to "the island" (which is clearly japan with relation to the character names from that place) and how its a blatant hate on the island and its residents. It was just a straight up pro-china propaganda commercial for that entire arc. The way they are portrayed and such was really uncomfortable I... more>> had to skim through that arc and I hardly read any of the happenings. Luckily the happenings on that arc didn't really matter much on me understanding the later portion of this story. Would have been a good novel if that arc just didnt happen. <<less

I really loved this story. Honestly yes, it had flaws and characters lacked some actual depth and growth. However, it was still an amazingly enjoyable story. If this was an anime, I'd watch it. If it was a manga, I'd read it. Hell, I'd watch a television live-action adaptation of this because there is enough action, fluff, and humor to enjoy it.

Do I wish there was some changes? Yes. I do wish the FML would have come to her feelings for one ML in particular sooner than she did. Honestly... more>> a lot of missed fluff opportunities between them. She only accepted him at the very end despite his being by her side from the beginning of human interaction. But her love development between her MLs wasn't bad outside of that. I would re-read. <<less

It was a very fun story, although there was an arc that clearly showed the resentment of the author against a very specific country which left me with an uncomfortable aftertaste, overall the novel was self-indulgent in a satisfying manner.

Shao Qing is a somewhat cliche femme-fatale character, but since I love cliches all's good.

Yan Qiyue is my personal favorite, he had a very good growth entirely based on his love and obsession for the fml, and he was very well balanced with the rest of the harem and at the... more>> same time I got the impression the fML got more influenced by him.

The morale of the story was pretty common for this genre but still felt very well delivered. <<less

3.5 but rounded up.

This story is... weird. I enjoyed it but it's like my fascination with B-list movies. I know it isn't good but it's what I like. Although this story can almost be summed up with "Holy crap, everyone turned into cannibals and rapists real quick".

The MC has a lot of powers and strengths but you could kind of say "speed" is her super ability because everything she goes through is super fast. Adjusting to dying and then coming back? Superfast. Being okay with her baby being born as... more>> a toddler (technically) and not really human? Also super fast. Her learning curve for powers? s*upidly super fast. Her becoming cruel against her enemies? Blink and you'll miss it super fast. Guys wanting to get into her pants? Instantaneously.

Spoiler

She's described as being gorgeous and super-powered so most men are split into three groups. The first are the ones who want to "conquer" the beauty, the second are those who want to be protected by the beauty and then there are the oddities who are either her harem or actually have normal human personalities.

The MC does get into a pseudo-polyandry pod (her and 3 men) but it falters and stalls a little at points in the story. Out of the three MLs, only one of them has a normal mentality (the other two are a zombie and a masochist) and seems the most out of place. He is also often the short end of the stick when it comes to his part in the story as the MC will often choose one of the other two (or both of them) to take with her when she goes off to do things.

[collapse]

In addition to the men (in her harem and without), she's also a magnet for bad things. Literally anywhere she goes, she runs into bad people or a bad situation. She literally has to fight in every base to prove that she's not someone to be walked over. It's almost like no one else ever travels between these bases so no one ever hears about this super powerful and gorgeous woman until she shows up and has to do a beatdown.

Then there is the raping and cannibalism. Nearly every bad guy was a rapist, a cannibal, or a cannibal rapist.

Spoiler

I get it, humans are the real monsters but the author literally wrote Japan an island country where restaurants had menus that listed dishes with human ingredients and that people would eat their s*aves once they were no longer "useful". There is a whole arc dedicated to this that doesn't really enrich the story other than making the MC seem so much more of a hero and ramping the evil people up to eleven.

[collapse]

The final bad guy was also a little out of left field. There are only the briefest of hints as to why he started then a twist comes along that leaves me utterly confused. Honestly, the ending isn't the best and is super abrupt.

Spoiler

Turns out, the main villain is not actually the main villain because the real villain is a giant bug. Yep. A story about zombies, superpowered humans and the end of the world has the main villain be a giant bug that has apparently been trapped (it does not explain this) and wishes to merge with a human in order to be free. Oh, and the MC develops the ability to stop time which in turn causes an explosion to go off when time restarts in that space.

[collapse]

There is an after story but that too feels like an afterthought because of how the author finished off the main story. Some characters are never mentioned again despite being semi-important and somehow the MC's city became a place of "mysterious legend" despite it being like... two years after the end of the main story.

Like I said, I enjoyed this but bits are repetitive (every villain having nearly the same ideas of cannibalism and r*pe) and the story really could have done without the volcano arc. <<less

This is my first apocalypse novel and I found it enjoyable. The story is interesting, MC is powerful, and with a mind that seems to anticipate most of the dangers and understand everything. The ML's are good enough. The baby of our MC doesn't play such big role to appear in the title, but it's undeniable that the growth in character of out MC is because of him right from the beginning. Hope you enjoy it!

honestly, it’s basically a gender swapped longtian style novel (overpowered/hyper attractive MC, poor character development, handwavy power systems, harem, etc). It’s the same thing, but with a child right off the bat and the MC is female and the harem is male.

if you’re expecting a well-developed world and characters, you’re going to be disappointed. But if you just like a MC going through the apocalypse and growing op, then it’s a pretty good story. Very self-indulgent, don’t think too hard about it kind of novel.
