A sweet, funny, and heartwarming story. It's rather rare to have a romance novel written from the male MC's perspective, which is definitely a plus for me. The characters POVs are hilarious. For all that the story only has five chapters, the story did not feel incomplete or hanging. It was quite a wonderful read. Truly recommended!

A good read of how mentality of a child and the environment around that child can affect how that child become as they grow up. The novel tell a story of how a child started off with a mentality of "I want to be a bad person" and his simple analogy of life base on what he saw, how his environment shelter this believe and how one single person change his whole life, add to it the comedic undertone and a simple read and you have this wonderful story that... more>> make you laugh and make you love the main character.

the interview at the end with the female lead completely altered the story and destroyed it for me. The arrogance in her "interview" when she claimed to have moulded the male lead to her personal ideal wiped away all of my goodwill towards the relationship. I'm not sure that the alternative - that she really was naive and believed her older "brother" was the super-hero she imagined him to be - is any better, but the idea that she manipulated him emotionally for years is not a nice thought.

In short, I would skip the interview with the female lead, but the other interviews at the end are all fine. <<less

Short and funny. I somehow expected the ending but it was sweet. The plot itself presents two characters in opposite worlds and the impact it had on them. One of them, the protagonist, having everything he wanted, became impressed by those who hold power in the underworld. His dream of becoming a triad boss comes from his wish to control and protect, ratter than his wish to destroy. He wanted to be a vigilante. This is what also brought his end. He rescues a girl from ab*se. The girl lived... more>> in an opposite world than him. Because of this she was capable to see the world as it truly is. So she tried to fit in a place rather than changing it to fit her desires. After she found her place she managed to make the one with the most influence, the protagonist become attached to her until he finally fell in her honey trap. While it is truly sweet, I felt disappointed. It had the potential to create more drama instead of skipping a lot of stages to bring the ending faster. Because of this I will only give 4 stars. <<less

Other romance novels too long? Some not complete yet?

Look no further because this 5 chapter short story is filled with light fluffy romance. The story is short and sweet and straight to the point and lucky for you, there is no angst, misunderstanding etc... ^^

It's in*est. Even if they're "not biologically related", it's in*est. Now that that's out of the way:

This story is really well-written. The pacing is good, the foundations are laid properly, and the MC's actions and decisions are all well-explained and it makes sense why he does what he does.

This is one of those rare short novels I revisit and re-read every once in a while.

It's the cutest escape from real life.

Our main character's life plan was foiled the very moment he saved a girl from her wicked adopted family. He took her under his family's wings and it was history from there. We follow his change from potential triad boy boss into becoming a proper mature man. All thanks to his sweet, manipulative and cunning adopted sister.

This short novel is also laugh-out-loud funny and the author's great at... more>> convincing readers the male's point of view. The translator's also really great with adapting the quips to something palatable to the English audience.

At only 5 chapters long, you will definitely not regret spending a moment of your time reading this.

I personally love this author's work (and if anyone's interested and can read Chinese, do pick up: 夕阳红—我是康熙的奶奶 also known as 太后也疯狂.) It's very angsty, but sweet and adorable. <<less

DIABETES!

This story is so sweet I gagged. The MC and MF are childhood sweethearts and due to certain circumstances, the MF ended up living with the MC when she was a child. From child to adulthood, the MC always wanted to be a triad boss, but because of the MF, he eventually becomes a CEO and a hen-pecked hubby. This is a very light hearted fluffy romance story that is great to pass the time while waiting at a bus stop, eating lunch, or even taking a dump. : P

This story is short but so sweet. I loved how a series of events have led to his salvation. The thinga he did just to prove his girl right was just cute and makes you want to go all awww.

If you want something to read while relaxing or while waiting in line somewhere then this is for you.

Such a sweet and short tale! This one is heavy on comedy and cuteness. Considering how short it is, there is not really much to talk about. It is a good story to read while on a plane journey or something, maximum reading time of maybe half an hour. The English is good, and the content itself is awesome.

Major note, it is in*est since she was adopted as his sister. Not inbreeding since they aren't blood related, but still in*est.

I liked the story a lot, until the last chapter where the other members of the family are interviewed.

she couldn't get the daughter she wanted, so she worked with her daughter in law to poke holes in cond*ms against the express wishes of the son. Neither she nor the daughter care that the son is actively against having a second child and they just force him to have another one.

Nothing else to say but READ IT. You will absolutely love it! It's a cute romance with a bit of a comedic undertone to it! The transformation of the MC was well done. Then there is that slight plot twist in the end! Haha, that one took me by surprise!

OMG Im smiling so much 😂, is short but this is the flufiest thing Ive ever read, dont think too much when reading it and just enjoy the fluff.

This is great if you need a short pick me up novel it will put you in a good mood.

Amazing read!!

Really love this! ??? But warning if you don't like brother complex or sister complex. Even though the are not blood related, still, maybe there are people that feel uneasy with that :)

So, this is a very, very, cute read! My heart melted!! MC's tendency to be a bad man really funny! And he still ended to be a good person LOL
