Yin Li was born with a pure Yin body. He possessed the body of a male but the fate of a female, his Yin and Yan energies fully inverted. Because of this, his family’s old ancestors claimed he wouldn’t be able to live past twenty years of age.

To prolong his life, his parents fostered a furnace whose energy he could harvest to nurture his own.

As Yin Li looked at the frail and delicately charming boy in front of him, he felt his heart stir with compassion.

The Heavenly Path is carried through reincarnation, life and death are decided by fate.

He couldn’t simply ruin this pitiful child for the sake of his own selfish interests. Instead, he kept the small boy at his side, spoiling him and raising him as his trusted aide.

He truly believed they shared a master and servant’s pure and honest affection, not at all realizing that that wicked boy had been rotten from the start. The delicately charming small boy who was spoiled day and night only ever thought about two things:

1. Why hasn’t master bestowed his favour on me yet?

2. Just how can I climb into master’s bed?

Wonderful!!

The novel is fast-paced owing to the small number of chapters it has.

The given summary is only a part of flashback.

... more>> From the moment the novel is started, Yin Li had already been with Yang Huiyan. It is the journey described in the novel that led to 'Demon Ancestor who desired Supremacy'.

Demon Ancestor is the boy Yang Huiyan but that's his future title. At the start of the novel, he is only a beloved servant who's in a relationship with his master hiding a heart full of demon but with a touch of humanity due to being human and not wanting to anger his beloved master.

Supremacy is Yun Li, the Sixth and only Prince of Xie Yan (?) Kingdom, the greatest and powerful of the four kingdoms. At the start of the novel, he is a weak yet extremely capable and gentle prince. Stuck at Building level, he is unable to proceed further in cultivation and with only a 100 years (?) to live further ahead.

Their love for each other, unwanted separation and finally reunification is extremely epic to see. Especially reunification. Yang Huiyan considers his master to be above everyone else, even himself and loves him dearly. Yun Li knows of this and so indulges his beloved servant and life-and-death partner to be wanton and wishes best for him but he can't bear losing him... no matter what.

....

I read till ch57 through MTLing but couldn't find the 58th one on any site. Hope it comes out soon or the translator quickly finishes his/her translation with a rocket speed. Amen! ?

Thanks to @Jun Rui, I was able to read the last chapter.

The ending is simple yet beautiful. It shows the determination of Yin Li to stay with his dear servant... ?

I really hope the translator would finish translating this while taking care of their own health. He/she has done a really good job in the first few chapters... ? <<less

The synopsis is actually a bit misleading. The story begins with the main pair as an already established couple. I actually preferred the way it was done. I like established couples. No drama or third party. There were a few flashbacks about when they just met so we have that if you want. I overlooked this novel for so long because the synopsis made it seem like MC raised the ML, but they didn't actually interact till ML was in his late teens early 20s. I don't remember clearly but... more>> ML was brought into the palace early as a servant and saw MC like once I think. However, they never actually met till later. I'm not sure of the timeline because it's all a flashback. In the actual story we are really following the couple as they solve issues in the country. Mostly those related to MC's duties as crown prince.

ML follows MC providing support and muscle. As we know MC has some medical/cultivation issues. ML is obsessed with MC. MC can do no wrong in his eyes. It's interesting how MC is somewhat aware and tries not take advantage of this. ML is usually cutesy and obedient to MC and only MC. ML isn't very dominant or forceful with MC as you think someone with his obsession would be and that's because he respects MC a lot.

Spoiler

ML is very obsessed. He was trapped in a nightmare heart illusion and enjoyed being tortured by MC. It's implied he'd do anything MC wants aside from staying away. He'd rather beg, be punished or killed by MC than force him but he's not completely against it.

[collapse]

I really love MC's family dynamic. His family are active characters in the book and aren't blind to the problems MC is facing. I do love a united family. MC's family is actually very big because they're immortals.

Spoiler

Many of them are in seclusion but they do gather if there's an emergency. There's also no fighting for the throne as no one wants the responsibility.

[collapse]

Overall, the story is actually more 4 stars than 5 but it's rated so low. I was a bit confused in the beginning but it's a very enjoyable read. We are not far in and it'll probably be even better. <<less

It's really interesting so far, even though I've only read one chapter. The translator hasn't many any grammar/spelling/tense/punctuation mistakes, and the story's summary makes me believe I'll like this story.

I hope to see more soon.
