Personally, I can't say I like it, due to the fact that the MC seems to be leaning towards the blind love path.

So, MC is an abandoned child and a swindler cheating other swindlers and roommate with someone who works with the government and hold national secrets (really?). She never thought about this problem and transmigrated only to dream about it and began to question their cohabitation. She's not very matured, I feel, and I've always have the image of a 7 or 10 year old child who still plays around whenever I read. At least ML and FL's image is older than her in my head.

Original FL is reborn and tells MC so right off (the f%$#). She apparently blacked and sticks to original ML, who's MC's (BTW, she's never had a boyfriend before in her life, nor read romance novels, but just found something in that one, probably novel ML) ideal type. FL wants MC to pay for everything that happened to her in the last life.

Just to move the plot and nightlight MC's skills, author made blacked FL ignore her last life's bestfriend and destroy her things just because said bestfriend ignored/didn't help her. So, MC steps in and comforts bestfriend instead of FL, swindling the man who cheated her, gaining best friend's affection instead.

Our cold face ML, on the other had, became interested in the changed villainess and, for his own amus**ent (she's the only one who got him to smile so far) got her to follow him on the journey to finding FL's true identity (a missing princess) while hanging FL at the same time (follows her to learn cooking and let her cook for him, which she said she'll do for a lifetime).

MC, because he's her ideal type, doesn't want to hand him to FL, but does nothing to really stop them from meeting. She obviously knows that FL does not feel good for her, but does nothing to plan despite being such a great swindler and just prepares herself to face the darkness ahead.

Actually uhm it's okay. The leads were funny and it's entertaining to read. I think that the last few chapters before the wedding were fillers and I almost want to drop it but I decided to just skim over them in case I miss some important details.

To be honest, the thing about the loop/cycle and the sci-fi element is a bit... ridiculous to me. I mean there are definitely fictional things that are ridiculous but this one just appeared a bit forced (?) to me. But hey, if you don't... more>> take it too seriously then it's fine. Take it as a light read or something to pass time.

And oh, I actually don't like their kid. Not cute at all. I kind of feel bad for the FL. I mean she can get a little childish but based on her personality, I think she's a good mother. Maybe the author's intention is to make it appear cute but it's looked disrespectful to me. Imagine being a mother who is not properly addressed by your own child? Even if it's childish, it's hurtful no? But then maybe I'm taking the extra chapter a little too seriously hehe. <<less

Want to give this 1 star but it's gonna make the translator looks bad, so 3 stars.

... more>> The story is great, want to give it 5 stars, it's fun and rereadable, yinyin's reaction is hilarious, I even laughing out loud and think I can reread this novel again, kinda weird with the sci-fi part but it's okay I guess since science is weird in a good way, full of mystery and no end of it.

When reading towards the end, I was like d*mn this story is great, their bickering is fun, overall greattt......... but my heart drop drastically when reading the last extra part of their daughter, mengmeng.

Their daughter is so..... Disrespectful, hateful, I don't know what her parents are teaching her that she grow in that way.

Mengmeng only love his dad, and hate her mother.i can say this mother and daughter pair is an enemy that had been form from 8 generations ago.

When the mother, yinyin was so fed up by her daughter and choose to runaway and ling long try to chase her, their daughter said just let her go (she's serious, not joking here) What the f***!!???

Imagine your daughter call you by your name, never treat you like her mother, even ask your husband to DIVORCE you, when you runaway she don't want your husband to get you back.

If I'm not mistake she's just 3 years old.

Yeah I know she's just a child, and some part is her parents mistske, but I can't tolerate it. This is a romance story, please make their child at least lovable, not hateable.

I don't know why the author make this kind of extra. in romance story their child will have a cute bunny personality, but this one is sh*t......... Can I say it's belong to tragic category???

I suspect that author fell in love with ling ling and jealous of his wife, yinyin, so author give this daughter to torture her

It only take one chapter and it ruined overall story. So yeah, 1 star for it <<less

I really like this novel in the beginning. MC was hilarious, especially her ramblings. And the mystery surrounding MC's transmigration was enough to get me hooked. But the revelation really made me disappointed.

The biggest mystery of all, that was: MC's real identity was never revealed till the end. Who was she, really?

I don't know if the author tried to be funny by making MC's daughter so disrespectful towards MC. And worst of all, ML let their daughter be for 3 years. MC then had enough and wanted to go back to her parent's house and ML finally disciplined their daughter.

This book is good! I don’t understand why the low rating. Atleast I had fun reading this.
FL is super funny, you will love her, she not dense and she straightforward. She abit op in the detective department but given her swindler background so it’s blend. ML is super sweet. He is a powerful guy but he treats FL with respect and dotes on her and love to tease her!

It’s actually a simple story, but with a bit of mystery and detective work, the side characters, most are so funny and endearing. Makes the whole story fun. I won’t do spoilers on the transmigrated part but it really doesn’t matter. The whole things is light, fun, solving mystery, looking for trouble or trouble looking for them and then some fluff and bit smexy time and happy ending. Lol.

The translation is edited mtl, but Pocket Bunny done a great job editing it. It’s simple and some direct translation but it doesn’t confuse or hard to read. Given this is a very short story there are may not be to in-depth background building, or may have some plotholes, but the focus are with the main cp and mostly on their romance and solving cases so don’t think too much and enjoy the silly FL journey to another world. Thank you

I deplore this addition to the story 😭😭 how destructive it is 😭😭 this is the first time I hate the 'character of a child' who is usually the sweet complement in a family. I was so upset that I even wanted to complain first, forgetting how sweet YinYin and Linglong were before :'))

Once again, Chesnut with his sweet work! With a unique transmigration theme and wuxia...
I love Linglong, his cold character is consistent, and after falling in love he becomes super sticky honey!!!

Yinyin's character is also unique, she is not as strong as imagined, but she is not weak either... Fun world building.
It's not perfect, obviously, but the story is sweet except for the last extra part...

The romance is okay-the ML's love for the MC was developed quite well. On the other hand, I didn't feel how MC fell for the ML.

A lot of stuff didn't make sense, that was passed off as stuff that didn't make sense because it's a novel.

her (MC) parents allowed her to travel with the ML, unaccompanied. The novel talks about propriety of the ancient times, but our MC is freely flirting with the ML.

The drug that makes the final boss younger...

The cut sleeve alliance head.. who just does whatever he wanted.

The last filler... who tried to bully the spider web.

If you're willing to overlook that, this will be a good read.

Read the translation (from Chapter 1) by Pocket Bunny and NOT Flying Lines. The translation quality is miles apart.

A good short read if you’re looking for lighthearted, kinda illogical funny read!

The way it's written.... Is really nonsensical in a funny way. Initially I wasn't used to the writing style but trust me it grows on you. If you’re a fan of Jiang Hu’s Road is Curved, it has a similar vibe (but of course the other novel is wayyyy better though).

The way the author writes for the plot build up... more>> is 💯💯. The plot isn’t the best, but it is one of the more creative ones and the foreshadowing is spot on! There is one big overall plot and when it’s revealed you’ll be like...”ok... ?” But hey, it’s still somewhat of a plot right!

The author also reference a lot of pop culture and innuendos unfortunately the translator didn’t catch ‘em all, but translation quality is still really good.

The MC is a white silly sweet with a hint of cunning. She’s constantly up to all kinds of trouble and the ML deals with it with a keep-calm-you’ll-get-payback-with-interest-later mentality. The romance was random but still good and sweet. ML just dishes out dog food and pampering in a low-key manner. Other side characters are silly and fun too. All their interpersonal relationships are shallow but it fits the way the novel is written I guess.

The word to describe this novel is nonsensical with a whole load of fun. It’s illogical with plot holes but it’s a pleasant read. So, read it if you’re looking for a short silly read. <<less

It's funny, sweet and kinda lighthearted. The FL is definitely not very smart but she's not s*upid. What I mean is she's kinda naive (in a hilarious way) sometimes but also, she's full of tricks and if she wants to, she really has a high analytical skill. While the ML (has a lot of fan girls!) is not that showy or clingy but later on, although still reserved is really sweet. The supporting character are almost like background characters and about the world background, honestly, I still don't get it... more>> even after I finished the story. Not that I totally not get it but it's not explained clearly (in a way that ordinary human like me can easily understand it). Also, there's a lot of loose ends but disregarding all of those, I think the story is quite good. Except!!!

For their daughter. Just like everyone else here, I hate their bratty daughter so much. It's different from just being a daddy's girl, she's way too disrespectful that I think the author shouldn't just give an extra chapter about their kid because that one chapter changed my mood all of a sudden. I mean, everything's sweet then suddenly their devil incarnate daughter was introduced, totally ruined the mood of the supposedly sweet ending. But even so, I'll still rate this 8/10. It's because I think we can't give low rating just because of their daughter, right? It's just one chapter after all. <<less

Fluffy rom com wuxia story. Characters were not that deep, some comedy, jianghua type society. I skimmed most of the latter part of the novel, as I wasn't attached to any of the characters or relationships. FL is a transmigrated rich miss, but spends entire novel roaming about with the ML, she's supposed to have good martial arts but every time the ML has to save her, and for no reason other than her cuteness, the ML falls in love with her.

I took a chance on this novel and I’m glad I did! Pocket bunny did an excellent job translating the novel, it is adorable and fluffy and fun

The FL is charming, the ML is adorable, and it has a twist ending

I think the FL Lin Xin’er is the true missing princess and her coming into “our” world is what doomed it.

That is why the scientists kept trying to force her consciousness into Du Quin and why they say her becoming YinYin was a mistake

In my opinion Du Quin was from our world and they swapped consciousness which is why each of them was “found” and why the scientists chose that world to send “the destroyer” to

(I told you this spoiler would totally expose the plot twist)
