First, I'll say some of the things I love about this novel... I adore the protagonists, their adorably sweet... I love how the FL thinks, she have a different way of thinking.. Very unique & naive (at times).. The ML is Cool, but not cold, he's just a bit taciturn.. Like for example:- The part where Shi Meng is brutally bullying the FL... & goes out of hand to the point that the FL's dad shows he actually has the power (wealth/authority power) manipulate some things for his beloved child.-The last few parts where the ML lost his memory... REALLY!!! Is there any twist better than that? And it was inserted at the epilogues! I actually get disappointed on this parts..

If I had a word to describe this story, it would very calm and warm on the outside, but every sentence and every word can bring you many emotions. It is a very simple story about first loves by two people who have a unique way of thinking. How the author built the MC's character is very exceptional, at first glance, though she seems to be strange, but her way of thinking is very complex, once you get to know her, you will be entranced by everything about her. The... more>> MC is a girl who lives in her world, in my opinion, she is very similar to the MC of Best to Have Met You, however the MC in this book is more of someone who is comfortable alone. This novel isn't just about romance, it focuses on how people grow and mature in high school, and the things they learn as they grow older and experience more situations. There is a subtlety in their relationship, both are not very outgoing people, but they are very comfortable with each other and don't have a problem understanding each other even if they aren't saying anything out loud. They are two people who are fated to be with each other, when you read the novel you can tell that these two people were meant to be with each other, no matter what.

In my opinion, this isn't a really sugary novel, because there is a sort of depth to the story of a unique girl who is trying to grow up and overcome all these experiences she hasn't dealt with before. Overall, this is a very simple story, with no love triangles, or any annoying barriers, it is very well-written as well. Their love, although they are very young, it is sure to last centuries. <<less

I love this novel so far. There is no angst, just a slow love between two extremely smart individuals with very low EQ. The friendship portrayed between the four main characters is awesome. If only everyone had that kind of understanding and instant trust. I also like that the FL is not portrayed as dumb and naive as is usual in most romantic novels and the male lead is quiet and may be a bit arrogant, but not an asshole. Writing style is great. I don't understand how old they are. After trying to read a bit about China's education system, I assume they are in 11th grade. That would make them around 17. Or they are first year undergrads, which would make them older than 18.

I'm quietly loving the writing! I feel in love with the descriptions, I literally can feel the warmth and I can visualise the space they are in! I'm loving the interaction between the characters.. for some this might be slow paced, but to me the beauty and enchantment lies right in this pace! I've been traveling to my teens, in my particular case 21 years lol, the first time I feel in love... can't wait to dive further in the story!

I've rated it 4 stars, as it's a good novel. I have to say it's not my cup of tea tho, it's kinda slice of life, with incredibly slow progressing romance, the two leads are kinda boring, the story kinda childish

I like the MC, she is just like the MC of Best to have met you. How she thinks and her little quirks are unique, you will grow to lover her. I did and although the love can be a bit slow, it so so sweet and fluffy, you can’t help but fall in love with it. The two best friends also are one of the great characters

This novel is cute and interesting. It's about a group of 4 friends and their time in high school. So far there's been no angst, no annoying characters, nothing infuriating like in other romcom novels on NU. This novel is honestly one that is easy to read and enjoy, something that's a nice break from the vast amount of novels filled with transmigration or reincarnation and revenge.

I don't know why this novel have bad ratings, this is a good novel to past time, no boring chapters, had a slow start but not decrease the quality of the novel, if you like heart warming and fluffy novel you should try to read this

This book was a really refreshing read for me, I love that this was not a instant male lead falls for female lead with no rhyme or reason. I like the female lead cos she was not the typical annoying type and she's rather funny. The romance was a slow burn which is my favorite as well. The thrill of guessing whether the male lead likes the female lead was what got me hooked to the end.

Tbh 4.5 SOLELY because the author made an inexplicable decision in the 2nd epilogue. Otherwise it would have been a 5 (maybe the author just got lazy???)

Anyhow, this is a heartwarming school-life novel full of fun friendships and cute romance.

This is one of the most entertaining novels I have read. If you are looking for something different than your typical female lead, please check this out! You'll be quietly chuckling (or sometimes rather loudly) at the uniqueness of the characters ;)

Enjoying this story so far!The translation is good and the story is interesting and makes me feel warm and fuzzy on the insides.
