- while pretending to be normal-maybe-poor-definitely-not-rich-student, ML meets MC in their part-time job, he's too shy to speak up, so he lets MC see his clothes has a hole, and MC offered to fix it for him. Later he brags about it to his group of friends.
- ML is so ridiculously crazy rich but now everyone has to go along with his Mechanic with Heavy Debt act. Everyone is very ????!? Because he never tells them the full story. On business trip, Assistant: Mr. Gu, I sit in first class and you sit in... economy class? His work partners: Mr. Gu, you want to eat cheap lunchbox, not a private star restaurant?
And despite being very rich, he doesn't look down on poor people/situations, he doesn't feel disgust when living poor, just a bit inconvenient because he wants to spoil MC with everything he has. He's also not snobbish with his money, he knows he's asking people to help him with this big lie, and he does it in most harmless way to them.
- He even thinks living (poorly) like this is nicer, because their family is together, as opposed to before.
- ML can't help blurting out 'okay' to everything MC says, making himself trouble or landing him in situations not benefiting himself
- When ML gets petty jealous he doesn't show it, he controls it with his thoughts.
- Multiple times ML wants to come clean already, but unfortunately MC says things that makes him misunderstand...
- When MC says 'I love you' and ML replies 'I love you too', author doesn't say anything, but all his anxiety, joy and excitement is palpable!
- When drunk and thinking he's dreaming, he ties MC up to him and won't let him out of his sight.
- ML is still a functioning human being, but he's really set on MC. When everyone thought MC might have died somewhere, ML breaks down, only birth of his and MC child brings him back. Afterwards he strongly rejects anyone trying to take MC's place in his heart and home. To the point he almost missed MC who their kid recognised is his 'mama'.
- ML and his family inadvertently slips money to MC to help pay the 'debt' faster. ML has silly-spending tendencies (spends 100k to shower MC in chat flower), his mom helps with more finesse (gives him 50k money 'old parents entire life savings').

MC thinks ML has debt and is embarrassed to implicate MC, so he always says he likes providing for ML, and he actually prefers living in poverty. ML thinks MC likes taking care of him (and possibly like him being poor, so they're in same social standing), their boyfriend dynamics is also like this, MC taking charge of their finances. So ML pretends he's really really poor, at least until he finds out why MC disappeared before. BTW their baby also thinks his 'mama' likes little dilapidated room, and his 'papa' lives in big fancy house so that's why his other dad won't come live with them.

MC has a good normal excuse for everyone close to him about his disappearance but didn't say it to ML. He doesn't want to lie to ML, but the truth is too absurd. So for a while ML doesn't know why, but he's still very happy that MC didn't want to hide anything with him.

that the two people that are sending him lot of money on his broadcast are actually ML and the little Curb >_<
