I finished the story it is very fast paced, the romance was decent, the characters understandable, the FL enjoyable, the ML loveable. I will definitely read this again. Please give it a chance despite it being a Chinese novel.

Cons:

The ML is a mass mu*derer (though kind of expected for this type of story) >.< But you feel bad for all of those off screen characters.

... more>> The reason why she of all people was chosen was kind of un clear, and how sudden everything was is a tad annoying.

The second ML (the ML from a different dimension, is a little unclear, leaving the readers with lots of questions). I was personally dissatisfied with that.

The original heroine of the story and her ending is a tad unclear.

Pros:

Though the ML is obsessive he respects the FL.

The FL is not OP nor is the ML. They are strong but not OP.

Their Personality's and response to their situation is realistic.

The system was annoying but useful when it most counted.

The relationship of trust and understanding between the ML and FL was sweet.

There relationship was good despite the EXTREME SETTING the ML was given.

The gradual shift in from family/master servant relationship to lovers made sense -> basically because they live in a world of immortals age difference to everyone does not matter so much.

The Villains ending was satisfying.

Not many brain dead people, though a few infatuated flirts who quickly leave the scene.

The ML's relationship with the hero of the story is funny.

A different approach on being in the world of the story. Basically her knowing the original plot helps her to sympathize, understand the cruelty of the world, and a basic premise on what would happen if not for her. She does not know the exact future or how events will turn out so that makes the story more interesting. <<less

Not sure why this got 1 star, I mean the quality of translation is great. The story is also good so far. Maybe others are not liking the system because it does not give the MC a golden finger?

I can't say a lot for now since there are only 10 chapters but I like how the MC is level headed tho not OP. She thinks realistically like how you would when you suddenly transmigrate in that kind of situation (read ch.1). It wasn't even her fault why she transmigrated into... more>> an average human character. Who doesn't want to be OP right? The MC is the same and is doing her best to survive and complete her mission.

I hope to see more quality tls in the future. Kudos to the translators! <<less

I also don’t understand why the rating is so low? In comparison to many 4+ rated novels, the translation and beginning is done really well. I tend to only read 4+ rated novels, but I found this novel in another site and read it before seeing its rating. I thought it would be rated higher.

Haven't read the extras yet, but this is a fine novel. Although everyone has a one-track mind it's still acceptable. Like the ML's obsession with MC which is understandable and MC's unwavering loyalty to ML which is okay, alright ig. The story is full of twist and a tiny bit of cutting onion. Never a dull moment for me and the story length is just right. Story is not dragging and continuous.

So the thing is maybe my questions will be answered by the extras but I just gotta say Dark... more>> ML is really pitiful, give this man some sunshine, anyone please. Another thing is Head Lu how did you get there. And are we really fine with MC using someones body. <<less

4/5. Enjoyed. Although it got kinda complicated and stuck around ch 40ish. But there are no thots. The ML is obsessive but never hurts her for realzies. The FL isn’t a Goody two shoes and never is actually afraid of the ml. She also isn’t totally motivated by the system but by her own feelings.

Finished through MTL, 9/10 understandable (I’m fluent in english and mtl-glish)

It’s okay I guess, she’s not OP at all and she gets tired time to time.

Like.. A hetero C-grade SVSS?

Also reminds of the uhh sansheng story of the three lifetimes that stone spirit lazy salty fish raise a cute boy who is diligent and sweet but without the yandere

Dropping this since its utterly boring.

I don’t like the way the author writes the story. Its messy and there’s a lot of minor details that isn’t expanded much that makes the story seem like its written in a rush with no definite flow.

In the beginning she’s supposed to be the ML’s caretaker?? Not much is explained on the ML’s origin despite her being from there. She saves ML by jumping into a deep well and suddenly finds themselves somewhere else. Is it due to the system helping? I don’t really... more>> get what’s going on.

All I know is there’s lots of unnecessary banter between the MC and the cold unfeeling system whereby she keeps screaming for help and the system begrudgingly helps with usage of her points.

Even the part where they get stuck with the skeleton old lady is so weird.

Not only that, they were on a boat and then the ladies got caught to be sold to some family. Somehow she makes a fuss and ML saves her. Were they on another boat at the time? What happens after that? How did the Dan family become ruined? What??? So many details is missing. Its as if the author just decided to throw some plot here and there without expanding on them.

Even the story with the esteemed taoist and the ghost on the West house was not fully explained properly. She just went in, used some deux ex machina from the system plus ML demonizing and killed the dude. After that, we don’t even get to understand what happened to the rest of the Liu family. The Master Lu and his weird gaze towards her was also making me feel like okay author’s foreshadowing something but it probably won’t amounted to anything.

Btw how much is the age gap between the two leads anyway? I don’t seem to have read about the MC’s age.

Ugh. Dropping this.

Someone said its a c-grade hetero svsss but I disagree. Its not even worthy to be c-grade imo. <<less

The novel is a good one to read, I liked the plot and the flow of the story. The reason why I rated four stars because it has many plot holes like who is that Ki guy and the demon. They were seen as villain's but what was their reason for that is not described. The ending also seems rushed and why the ori! FL was hypnotized. Many questions are still unknown and I might have not understood cause of mtl.

The entire story was good especially till first half with the other dimension yueshi, but after the second half when the red fox jade arc begins the story started to feel a bit boring to continue yet I still completed. As both the ML and FL aren’t op or something which made them more realistic, plus I wanted to see how they overcome from the crisis that both the first arc and system left them to be in. In case as I have already started this then let me finish... more>> it by saying that, in the entire novel the system was the actual tr*sh in terms of pure garbage and shit. Seriously, it always ruined the mood and irritated me to no end, whenever it appeared with tasks or hidden missions. It seems like author placed it to not only for progression purpose but also to fulfill a proper antagonist role as well.
And if I’m being too much already then let me also add that, I’m still a bit uncomfortable/sad for the other dimension Mu Yueshi even after the end of the story. Ik he’s a pure evil but nonetheless it can’t be ignored that the current yueshi might have turned out the same if the FL hasn’t appeared and approached him whenever she could. <<less

⚠️ Quick warning, our main couple is a bit of in*est. They're not actually blood related but I know some readers considering it as in*est just how they treat each other. MC initially see ML as her child and then his brother when he grew up a bit.

⚠️ Another warning is that there's a low key r*pe tag. Not with our main couple but with the novel's OG ML and FL. And this was used as a comedic scene.

OG ML was bandage and FL was ripping his clothes. MC laugh at this scene and even teased him.

I also want to say that MC transmigrated to two people at the same time. I don't personally like stories like that and would have drop this had I know, so pointing this out now.

Other than that, the story is a good read.. Just that it went crazy at the middle. Despite having a system, the system was completely useless. The story also didn't focus on the actual plot and became more of an action + dealing with a yandere. <<less
