The main character has basically no redeeming qualities whatsoever. He's a complainy-pants almost 100% of the time who's defining character trait is being sad about his mother dying and being scared out of his wits of intimacy with the female leads at all times. He does one nice thing for someone prior to the events of the novel. Aside from that he's just crying, complaining or being victimized the whole time. Completely disregarding whether he's deserving of the affections of the heroines, I wouldn't even want to have him as an acquaintance myself.

The main heroines are completely unbelievable characters, which make them hard to like. They're basically braindead bimbos who's one and only concern is trying to get into the MC's pants, all the time. They basically have no personality or motivations outside of this. Why they are so obsessed with him despite the fact that he has no likeable qualities at all is never really explained. A paper-thin motivation is given for why the first of the two heroines fell in love with him, but it still doesn't really add up. There literally is no reason for why the other falls in love with him. It just suddenly happens, for no reason.

Lots of novels in this genre constitute a type of wish-fulfilment fantasy for male readers, which is not really a problem in itself, but this novel is 100% wish-fulfilment with barely any plot, character development or depth. It reads kind of like a cheap p*rn script without the s*x.
